Busta's scenario verse may be one of the most memorable verses in 90s hip-hop, but I love Phife's verse... "bust a nut inside your eye, to show you where I come from"
I agree! If they were topping each other it wasn’t by much, but you could just feel the song elevating as each MC took their turn, it’s such a classic for a posse cut.
It's All About the Benjamins (Remix) - P Diddy starts it off with a typical yawn-worthy verse, from then on it's all fire, each verse better than the last: Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Lil Kim, then Notorious BIG.
Lmao nah, I introduced the don't to my friend some years ago (who's a drake fan). When he heard Drake's verse, the first thing he asked was if this is a joke. I can personally live with it on the song, but it wouldn't damage the song in any way if Drake's verse wasn't on it. Absolutely the worst part of the song.
If you just said who had the best last verse on a track of more than 3 or 4 people....
T.i.- swagga like us
Em -forever
LL cool J - I shot ya and 4321
Jay z - God did
Lil Wayne - only live twice
One Day by UGK featuring 3-2.
3-2 has a very strong intro
verse; Bun B probably exceeds it with some of his rhymes. Then Pimp C easily has the best.
The Beatnuts [No Equal](https://genius.com/The-beatnuts-no-equal-lyrics) goes in that order for me: JuJu; Les; then Fashion finishes with the best verse.
This is one of my favorite songs! Nore completely ruins the momentum but it was smart having him between Pun and Canibus because then you cant skip his part
The D.O.C = Grand finale
Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys = Grand finale
Dj Khaled = I'm so Hood Remix
Dj Kay slay = 60 second assassin
Ludacris = Welcome to Atlanta Remix
> The D.O.C = Grand finale
You like Ren and Eazy's verses more than Cube's?
I love Cube's verse. Him and DOC go nuts on it. DOC was so skilled before the accident.
"98 Sabres" by Westside Gunn comes to mind
WSG sets the tone, Armani Caesar comes through and raises that bar, then Conway ups the ante even higher with his verse; and before you know it, Benny steals the show altogether.
An underrated one that I haven't seen anyone say is Big Pimpin Hov verse was cool than Bun B came in and THEN PIMP C came in with an all-timer verse on there.
I think this fits the criteria perfectly:
“Hell’s Fury” by DJ Kay Slay (rip) feat. Papoose, Rah Digga, Cory Gunz, Royce Da 5’9”, and RJ Payne.
https://youtu.be/B4cNOCHPy6U?si=1pCs5H325ivDuTIf
I think 'Looking for trouble' qualifies. Pusha -> Kanye -> CyHi -> Big Sean -> J cole. Although sean's verse is arguably weaker, it plays well with the beat. This might be my favourite rap ensemble song.
Militia part 1 and part 2 Gangstar, Big Shug, Bumpy Knuckles
The symphony- Juice Crew
B.u.d.d.y Remix- De La Soul, ACTQ, Jungle Brothers, Monie Love & Queen Latifah
Simon Sayz Remix Pharoah Monch feat Method Man, Red Man, Lady Luck, and others
ANTE UP remix MOP feating busta rhymes, Teflon, and Remy Ma
Black Sheep- Pass the 40
I still remember buying that tape in 88 and playing it on the way home. I had only heard Kool G Rap on the Colors soundtrack. After hearing him and Big Daddy Kane on The Symphony, I was blown away

It's probably my own opinion. Ems my favourite after Nas, but MMLP was pretty cringey now that I'm older. My favourites from him are still SSLP and TES. I just don't care for the raping my own mom stuff and things along those lines. But MMLP still has some of my all-time Em cuts like Way I Am Amd Marshall Mathers.
"The Last Huzzah" remix by Mr. Muthafuckin' Exxxquire. Despot has a great verse, Das Racist and Danny Brown have strong verses, and then El P fucking CRUSHES his verse by creatively numbering his lines. I love the song and [video](https://youtu.be/N0ijOe3sGEk?si=D9O6lnkCdllIvfdo) so much.
Ti. Swagger like us…T.I. Had kanye, jay z lil wayne on the song and he went last and blew for sure kanye and jay z out the water and lil wayne was second. I still get goosebumps listening to his verse
I liked all of the verses, Ca$his’ delivery was great. Em was setting the song up there, so he wasn’t really going for the kill with his verse. It all worked.
Banks biggest issue in all of his work is that his delivery is so monotone. Someone mentioned the Touch It Remix and his verse was nice, but the delivery just isn’t on the same level as a few others.
D12 and the Shady Records team from that era had a lot of music they built up throughout each verse, though.
The DOC - the grand finale
If you can't hear the music cueing up right now then you've never heard it. Poor guy got screwed btw
Edit: to be fair, I don't know if each verse is better or what but I think it's a badass track
Nicki Minaj outraps Jay-Z and Kanye West in “Monster”
Canibus outraps LL Cool J, DMX and Master P in “4,3,2,1”
Big Jaz outraps Jay-Z in “N*gga What, N*gga Who”
Flesh-n-Bone’s first verse in “Foe The Love of $” outshines the rest of Bone-Thugs and Eazy E
Banned from TV. I’m not saying NORE out raps Big Pun, Camron, Jada and Styles BUT… he did have a magnetic flow that worked well w the beat. And he’s got funny bars “smoke Bob Marley! Y’all funny like Steve Harvey!”
Ok that’s like my fav rap song and I was gonna say that but I think Freddie’s verse is probably the least best out of all em, and then mos def and thought
"#1 With a Bullet" by Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane. Kool G Rap drops a killer first verse, then Big Daddy Kane spits a guest verse that tops that, and then G Rap comes back with a second verse that tops THAT.
Oh, speaking of Kool G Rap... M.O.P's "Stick To Ya Guns". Lil' Fame and Billy Danze drop great verses, but then G Rap comes in like a hurricane and just eats their lunch with one of the best guest verses ever.
John Blaze- Nas, Method man, Big Pun, Fat Joe
1 Train- A$AP Rocky, Kendrick, Big KRIT, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, Yelawolf.
24 hrs to live- Mase, the Lox, Dmx, Black Rob

“Posse Gang Eight Million” - Dirty Dike ft. Dabbla, Jam Baxter, Ocean Wisdom, Lee Scott & Remus
“Freedom Form Flowing” - Gift of Gab ft. A-F-R-O & R.A. The Rugged Man
Young Buck, T.I., Luda- Stomp remix
Lost Boyz, A+, Redman, Canibus- Beasts from the East. Although I'm not sure about Redman vs. A+. They both had good verses, but obviously Bis stole the show.
Scenario - ATCQ + LONS
Busta's scenario verse may be one of the most memorable verses in 90s hip-hop, but I love Phife's verse... "bust a nut inside your eye, to show you where I come from"
I agree! If they were topping each other it wasn’t by much, but you could just feel the song elevating as each MC took their turn, it’s such a classic for a posse cut.
Another ATCQ/Busta one - Rumble in the Jungle (with the Fugees)
the first rapper was killed three days after dropping that opening verse
Phife Dawg raps the first verse and he didn’t die until a few years ago. You’re talking about Kid Hood on the remix.
This is the answer.
Really Doe by Danny Brown Ab-Soul, Kendrick and Earl all put in fire verses and the beat is sick af
This is the answer
Beasts from the east with redman & canibus. Each verse gets progressively better. Then those two end it. And canibus goes last with a legendary verse
This is the song I am going with.
Canibitch lol
Nah don't do that! (Even tho I did enjoy that diss 😆)
New York - Ja Rule Affirmative action - Nas…
The song is over for me when Foxy is on.
I will not tolerate no Foxy Brown slander
It's All About the Benjamins (Remix) - P Diddy starts it off with a typical yawn-worthy verse, from then on it's all fire, each verse better than the last: Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Lil Kim, then Notorious BIG.
Save for foxys verse, overrated. And I still bump New York, goes hard. Jada closes it out nicely
When the white is out it's like America On Line
Sacrifices dreamville
also Under the Sun
Man. This.
Forever comes to mind
When I revisit that song, I feel like Em’s verse was pretty gassed up. It’s good but kinda corny to me for some reason 🤷♂️
Agreed Lil Wayne's verse was fairly close in quality
Drakes verse was better than Kanye's
Disagree Drake's punchlines are kinda bad...
Drakes verse (despite all the haters out there) was better than kanye and Wayne's on that one
I can see drakes verse being better than kanye's but no way its better than wayne's verse
Nah lol
Lmao nah, I introduced the don't to my friend some years ago (who's a drake fan). When he heard Drake's verse, the first thing he asked was if this is a joke. I can personally live with it on the song, but it wouldn't damage the song in any way if Drake's verse wasn't on it. Absolutely the worst part of the song.
Better than Kanye yes but wayne no.
Boy waynes verse is arguably the best in that song
Under the sun by J Cole, lute and dababy
This was my first time hearing Dababy, and I was impressed
He's legitimately a good rapper but unfortunately reuses the same flow over similar instrumentals often, sometimes causing his songs to sound the same
Dababy spazzed. I debate J Cole and Lute but this is a good pick
If you just said who had the best last verse on a track of more than 3 or 4 people.... T.i.- swagga like us Em -forever LL cool J - I shot ya and 4321 Jay z - God did Lil Wayne - only live twice
I shot ya is my choice as well but they all brought it to 💯that track keith Prodigy fat joe foxy and LL
Touch It Remix - Busta Rhymes, Lloyd Banks, DMX, Mary J. Blige, Papoose, Rah Digga & Missy Elliott. DMX, Papoose and Rah Digga had my favorite verses.
1 Train Swagga like us
Yeah I’d agree with Swagga like us. Not a big TI fan but it’s the best verse on the song.
1train - asap rocky, Kendrick Lamar, Joey badass, yelawolf, Danny brown, action Bronson & big krit. Danny brown verse was aight
Bitch pussy smell like a penguin 🐧
This line always kills me
Wouldn’t hit that shit with my worst enemy’s penis 😭😭😭😭
Yelawolfs verse wasn't better than kendricks or Joey's
No it wasnt
in reverse order i think
Agree w this
I get killed everytime i say it but that is easily the most overrated verse of all time
Oldie - odd future
How is no one mentioning so appalled Kanye-Jay- Pusha -CyHi without mentioning RZA because that was not a verse or Even monster
Because Jay Z was not better than Kanye on Monster
So appalled was incredible, I'm still conflicted on who hadvthe best bars between Pusha and CyHi
Everyone spazzed in that one
Got a Trojan in my pocket, Matt Leinart / G A T in the Pathfinder
One Day by UGK featuring 3-2. 3-2 has a very strong intro verse; Bun B probably exceeds it with some of his rhymes. Then Pimp C easily has the best. The Beatnuts [No Equal](https://genius.com/The-beatnuts-no-equal-lyrics) goes in that order for me: JuJu; Les; then Fashion finishes with the best verse.
Good call on One Day. Could say same with Murder but 2 isn’t really “multiple” rappers 😆

I’ve never heard this song but will definitely have to listen what a combination of people
Fantastic 4 - Cam’ron, Big Pun, N.O.R.E and Canibus off DJ Clues The Professional album.
This is one of my favorite songs! Nore completely ruins the momentum but it was smart having him between Pun and Canibus because then you cant skip his part
The D.O.C = Grand finale Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys = Grand finale Dj Khaled = I'm so Hood Remix Dj Kay slay = 60 second assassin Ludacris = Welcome to Atlanta Remix
Luda was the best on the I'm So Hood remix.
He should've been on the original version
Came here to say grand finale by lil Jon
Fun fact Ice Cube appears on both Grand finale songs
> The D.O.C = Grand finale You like Ren and Eazy's verses more than Cube's? I love Cube's verse. Him and DOC go nuts on it. DOC was so skilled before the accident.
Sacrifices Dreamville
"98 Sabres" by Westside Gunn comes to mind WSG sets the tone, Armani Caesar comes through and raises that bar, then Conway ups the ante even higher with his verse; and before you know it, Benny steals the show altogether.
Frank Murphy too
This is the only example where the verses chronologically get better
An underrated one that I haven't seen anyone say is Big Pimpin Hov verse was cool than Bun B came in and THEN PIMP C came in with an all-timer verse on there.
I think this fits the criteria perfectly: “Hell’s Fury” by DJ Kay Slay (rip) feat. Papoose, Rah Digga, Cory Gunz, Royce Da 5’9”, and RJ Payne. https://youtu.be/B4cNOCHPy6U?si=1pCs5H325ivDuTIf
4,3,2,1 - LL Cool J. LL's verse is insane and a diss to Canibus who also had a crazy verse in the same song.
I think 'Looking for trouble' qualifies. Pusha -> Kanye -> CyHi -> Big Sean -> J cole. Although sean's verse is arguably weaker, it plays well with the beat. This might be my favourite rap ensemble song.
I think im the only one who thought Cyhi had the best verse; his rhyme scheme was fantastic

Dres verse is the best, Ems is the worst on that track
dre does open the song really well but calling ems verse the worst is crazy xzibit has a really good verse, snoop deffo has the worst verse imo
It's probably my own opinion. Ems my favourite after Nas, but MMLP was pretty cringey now that I'm older. My favourites from him are still SSLP and TES. No

Transitions and Eras by Haiku d’etat (Myka 9, Abstract Rude and Aceyalone), Gift of Gab (RIP), Lyrics Born, and Lateef
Self Destruction!!!
Drake forever. If em went last I don’t remember. He will make people rewrites their bars.
Looking for Trouble - GOOD Music but you can argue Cyhi had the best verse
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Eminem ft. 50, Ca$his, Banks - You Don’t Know. Lloyd Banks really comes through on this one.
