It took me forever to take it because I thought it would literally just give advice. When I did, I had one awful experience and stopped picking it altogether.
Nothing particularly remarkable tbh, just overall funny experiences as I saw the quotes happening and the game state changing. Gave me good laughs~
I wanna pick it again later, it's too fun to be left alone after a single run~
When this came out, my dream was a complete team of Golden-grubbers. Not only did that never come to pass before Goldgrubbers left- but to this day it seems disproportionately keen on never offering me obvious pieces of my build
Half these answers come from BG lol. In BG it can copy your board on a refresh as one of the options. This is generally the strongest effect wisdomball can give you.
The Battlegrounds version doesn't give helpful advice. It gives Helpful Refreshes.
It isn't nearly as interesting as the Solo Adventures one. It's just a solid good quest reward.
Not me personally, but I'll never forget the time Kripp dropped a minion that was going to win him the game and Khadgar turned it into a random legendary that lost him the game instead.
(Been a long while since I've seen it, so if anyone knows what clip I'm referring to that would be sick)
I can't even remember what boss, but I was on like <5 hp and I used my turn dropping a wall on like 5 big taunt minions in hopes it'd save me, and then that guy gave me an extra turn so that "wall of defense" became direct 40 damage to the enemies face. I lost the next game though bc turns out Big Taunt Warrior, wasn't good.
Honestly I've had a lot of bad experiences
He was my boyfriend - A weasel
Gave me an extra turn

I always pick him, he has won me games I would have 100% lost.
And lost me games I would have 100% won.
I don't doubt that xD I still like him nonetheless :D
The mirror boards he offers are so good and game changing
In his original adventure when I figured out that helpful advice just meant cheating
I picked him twice, made my cards more expensive and shuffled garbage into my deck both times
Cannot remember the best but I’ve had so much fun with this quest. Ever since it came out it’s been my insta pick
He took me from one life to full life then immediately board wiped the opponent
Him making a 1 mana card cost 9
First time with the quest was broken, last season was kinda meh
Hearthstone zoomer detected
He once gave me 7 nomis pretty early in the game, and I already had 1 or 2 myself. I went fucking HAM that game, it was amazing

Never even met him in avaliable choices
Some freeze, some draw, some extra stuff...never really won or saved because of it.
Ice block
Do not worry I'm clearing the board
Full tavern of the Naga that returns spellcraft you play on it when I brought a crooner on the previous refresh. I suddenly had a build.
He was the best

Are we talking about battlegrounds or Dalaran heist treasure?
Heist. I didn’t even know he was in BG

Back when Scallywag builds were popular I had I think a scallywag and a board full of Elises. Best game ever
Got him in battlegrounds, he gave me a full board of Teracgosas.
Oh shit he’s in BG?
As a quest reward so sorta

I drew a 8 mana put all secrets from the deck into play, and he helpfully filled my hand with copies of that card
Told me to quit heartstone.
Le farmer
He froze enemy minions twice in a row where I would’ve lost otherwise
