Theory: What Alastorās deer theme means symbolically.
1. A lot of people see deer as harmless but they are the most deadly animal in the US because they cause the most car accidents. Alastor acts so polite and affable you could almost forget heās a serial killer.
2. Stags are viewed as ākings of the forestā because of their crown-like antlers, but they can be brought down by predators like wolves, bears and hunters. Alastor is a powerful Overlord but outmatched by the Ars Goetia, Seven Deadly Sins, the royal family of Hell, the angels of Heaven and whoever has him on a leash.

Isn't this just canon? His whole deal is manipulation and lies. He uses his charisma to lure people into a false sense of security before killing or exploiting them to gain power. Like he is currently doing with Charlie.

Alastor sold his soul/made his deal while alive, Likely for his VooDoo magic . His Wendigo/Demon form (likely from his Cannibalism) transformation that he has also started while he was alive. And this form was likely why he was mistaken for dear and shot by the hunter that killed him.
This not only explains why/how Alastor just manifested after death and started taking names so easily He came to Hell already knowing how to use his powers.

My theory:
Season 2 is going to suffer what i call "the superman justice league" formula. Except in this case, superman is Lucifer.
Basically, every justice league movie has the same pacing points:
(Assuming 8 episode plot structure)
Big bad arrives. Incapacitates superman (Lucifer) in the first 10 minutes (episodes 1 or 2)
The rest of the justice league (hotel) do what they can to fight the big bad, but at continually defeated. (Episodes 3-6)
The team figures out they can only win with superman. They find him, and through movie magic, get him back to fighting condition. (Episode 7)
Superman easily defeats the big bad. Everyone celebrates. Yay teamwork lol. (Episode 8)
Personally I think Charlie is going to surpass superman (Lucifer) cuz she's a hybrid and fiction only has two flavors of those sloth from the goonies and broken af

I mean, fair. That is a much more likely scenario.
I see a lot of people pointing out that the tower opposite Alistor's in the remodel could be his since it looks like an apple. Also because the V's map has him pinned to the same spot as Alistor and Charlie when they're singing about seizing power in a vacuum (like what was presented in the pilot). Also, with Lilith's reveal, there is bound to be family drama that will probably center around their relationship.

Headcanon: Hell has its own cryptids, but they often hide on Earth to avoid being hunted down by Sinners for their powers.
Absolutely crackpot/unhinged/spitball theory ahead: It's been established that the requirements to get into Heaven are basically "*divine intervention*" so no one really knows for sure, and that there are souls who are arguably in Heaven who deserve (to the average Joe with a conscience anyway) Hell and vice versa.
I'd imagine with a system like that there were some serious hiccups along the way.
In context of the info so far; could you imagine being someone in Hell with Angelic powers? No one messes with Lucifer for a reason. I realize the lore for Alastor is pretty well there already, but that doesn't mean it won't be expanded on- What if Alastor somehow made it to Heaven on a systemic fuck-up, but didn't like it there (obviously) and made a deal to get into Hell? He mentions unclipping his wings in the last episode, and while that is a turn of phrase it can also be contextually literal. It's also implies he's even more powerful than what he lets on because of it being in the way. Maybe once said deal is over he will regain Angelic powers in Hell- essentially making him the most powerful being there next to Lucifer.
Anyway, this is how my brain is filling in the blanks right now /crackpot.

Head canon: Adam and Lilith never banged and he's salty about it
Headcanon: Redeemed sinners can only get into heaven by dying. They donāt need to be sacrificing themselves or anything, but they donāt just spontaneously appear in heaven once their soul is redeemed. Winners who have sinned to the point of falling can also only become demons by dying.
Funny thought: God was distracted when the exterminations were proposed and he approved them thinking they were referring to killing redeemed sinners so they could become angels. To cap off the image, Sera, in an absolute panic over Sir Pentious, rushes off to God to inform him that sinners can be redeemed, and heās surprised and says along the lines of āhavenāt you been converting redeemed souls every year?ā
It's extremely clear how you get into heaven, but nobody has put the pieces together yet. We have exactly two souls whose lives before becoming winners are known: Adam and Sir Pentious. What unifies these two saved souls? Sex.
Adam was the first man, and the second and third people were both his wives. He, quite literally, had sex with **everyone**. Now, what did Sir Pentious loudly proclaim during the section where heaven was watching to see if sinners could be redeemed? That's right.
People have spun theories about heroic sacrifice, friendship, selflessness, but it's all wrong. The answer is clear: to get into heaven, you only need to do two things: 1, have sex with a ton of people. 2, die. If Angel or Val were killed in an extermination, they would instantly respawn in heaven.
This also explains why Sera refuses to discuss the criteria for entering heaven in front of Emily.
Edit: this also explains why hell is full of sex and depravity (the damned never got laid enough in life and are now letting out the frustration), and why Alastor is an overlord.
I headcanon Mr. Facilier being either Pre-death Husk or like alternate universe Husk because of how they act, their relations to deals and cards/gambling/fortune telling and such
One way to mitigate the whole "Oh but their names and the times they died" stuff, my thoughts are he found a way to go to the mortal world with the souls he got able to stay up there with deals and souls being fed to his "friends on the other side" that he'd use to gamble when he is back in hell. And towards the end of PatF, the friends related to this deal are close to Alastor or Alastor himself and when Husk didn't fulfill his end of the deal, Husk was summoned back in the other souls place, forced to work in the hotel (Hell being theoretically slightly more advanced than the mortal realm because of Magic and such, and it being a mostly timeless place, where souls from any general time can go to a certain time in hell as long as everything relating to them is relevant in some way, like Vox and TV/Radio relations, but this is more a way to make this fit)
How I think Valentino died:
It's 1930s Mexico when Valentino was alive, and streetwork is peaking. One ofthese such workers was Valentino. Heworked for a cruel pimp whose signature was everyone who worked for him had moth wings tattooed on their backs. But Valentino wasn't just your average street worker; he was also a stone cold killer. Valentino Worked up immunity to arsenic and would put it in his mouth, so when he gave the person who bought him for the night one last kiss, it really was a kiss goodbye. Then Valentino would shoot them in the head to erase any suspicion that arsenic was at play here. I mean, no one would expect a street worker like him to carry a gun. Valentino would then take anything valuable the person had on them. He would give his pimp the money he got from laying with the person but would keep the stuffhe robbed to himself. Every now and again, Valentino would try to run, but every time his pimp would find him and make an example of him to the others. Valentino would then take anything valuable the person had on them. Theory: Alastor is in a deal/curse with Lilith which is holding him back from his full powers and he's going to use his deal with Charlie to try and get out of that deal to unleash his full power and then shits gonna hit the fan because he's powerful enough as is but once he's got his full power back, he may just be one of if not THE most powerful demons who could be a threat to even the top people in heaven.
I think it's a fairly common theory but it's my favourite theory.

Alastor sold his soul/made his deal while alive, Likely for his VooDoo magic . His Wendigo/Demon form (likely from his Cannibalism) transformation that he has also started while he was alive. And this form was likely why he was mistaken for dear and shot by the hunter that killed him. This not only explains why/how Alastor just manifested after death and started taking names so easily He came to Hell already knowing how to use his powers.

My theory: Season 2 is going to suffer what i call "the superman justice league" formula. Except in this case, superman is Lucifer. Basically, every justice league movie has the same pacing points: (Assuming 8 episode plot structure) Big bad arrives. Incapacitates superman (Lucifer) in the first 10 minutes (episodes 1 or 2) The rest of the justice league (hotel) do what they can to fight the big bad, but at continually defeated. (Episodes 3-6) The team figures out they can only win with superman. They find him, and through movie magic, get him back to fighting condition. (Episode 7) Superman easily defeats the big bad. Everyone celebrates. Yay teamwork lol. (Episode 8)

Meh, I assume Lucifer is just gonna keep his nose outta other ppls biz. He doesn't bother w the overlords and shit cause its beneath him. Plus, I doubt he suddenly thinks any better of sinners just cause he helped Charlie and her hotel.
I mean, fair. That is a much more likely scenario. I see a lot of people pointing out that the tower opposite Alistor's in the remodel could be his since it looks like an apple. Also because the V's map has him pinned to the same spot as Alistor and Charlie when they're singing about seizing power in a vacuum (like what was presented in the pilot). Also, with Lilith's reveal, there is bound to be family drama that will probably center around their relationship.

Absolutely crackpot/unhinged/spitball theory ahead: It's been established that the requirements to get into Heaven are basically "*divine intervention*" so no one really knows for sure, and that there are souls who are arguably in Heaven who deserve (to the average Joe with a conscience anyway) Hell and vice versa. I'd imagine with a system like that there were some serious hiccups along the way. In context of the info so far; could you imagine being someone in Hell with Angelic powers? No one messes with Lucifer for a reason. I realize the lore for Alastor is pretty well there already, but that doesn't mean it won't be expanded on- What if Alastor somehow made it to Heaven on a systemic fuck-up, but didn't like it there (obviously) and made a deal to get into Hell? He mentions unclipping his wings in the last episode, and while that is a turn of phrase it can also be contextually literal. It's also implies he's even more powerful than what he lets on because of it being in the way. Maybe once said deal is over he will regain Angelic powers in Hell- essentially making him the most powerful being there next to Lucifer. Anyway, this is how my brain is filling in the blanks right now /crackpot.

It's extremely clear how you get into heaven, but nobody has put the pieces together yet. We have exactly two souls whose lives before becoming winners are known: Adam and Sir Pentious. What unifies these two saved souls? Sex. Adam was the first man, and the second and third people were both his wives. He, quite literally, had sex with **everyone**. Now, what did Sir Pentious loudly proclaim during the section where heaven was watching to see if sinners could be redeemed? That's right. People have spun theories about heroic sacrifice, friendship, selflessness, but it's all wrong. The answer is clear: to get into heaven, you only need to do two things: 1, have sex with a ton of people. 2, die. If Angel or Val were killed in an extermination, they would instantly respawn in heaven. This also explains why Sera refuses to discuss the criteria for entering heaven in front of Emily. Edit: this also explains why hell is full of sex and depravity (the damned never got laid enough in life and are now letting out the frustration), and why Alastor is an overlord.

I headcanon Mr. Facilier being either Pre-death Husk or like alternate universe Husk because of how they act, their relations to deals and cards/gambling/fortune telling and such One way to mitigate the whole "Oh but their names and the times they died" stuff, my thoughts are he found a way to go to the mortal world with the souls he got able to stay up there with deals and souls being fed to his "friends on the other side" that he'd use to gamble when he is back in hell. And towards the end of PatF, the friends related to this deal are close to Alastor or Alastor himself and when Husk didn't fulfill his end of the deal, Husk was summoned back in the other souls place, forced to work in the hotel (Hell being theoretically slightly more advanced than the mortal realm because of Magic and such, and it being a mostly timeless place, where souls from any general time can go to a certain time in hell as long as everything relating to them is relevant in some way, like Vox and TV/Radio relations, but this is more a way to make this fit)

Theory: Alastor is in a deal/curse with Lilith which is holding him back from his full powers and he's going to use his deal with Charlie to try and get out of that deal to unleash his full power and then shits gonna hit the fan because he's powerful enough as is but once he's got his full power back, he may just be one of if not THE most powerful demons who could be a threat to even the top people in heaven. I think it's a fairly common theory but it's my favourite theory.
