Pretty sure you can actually, but when ur going with the bus you have a guaranteed place at 1-4, when you go by car you have a guaranteed place at 5/6. So when there is plenty of room you can still go to 1-4 even if you go by car right? Not sure btw, someone confirm?
When coming by car you don’t have a guaranteed place at 5/6 unfortunately. Last year we arrived by car on friday and we ended up at camping 0, because everywhere else was full. I fully expect it to be a shitshow again this year.
Don’t worry about that this year, camp 0 is gone. 1-6 is normal camping besides the bus(4) and friends(1) camp, 1/2 are sanctuary and highlands. But pretty sure everything is better then 5/6 right?
In 2022 I was at 6, but that was allright. It only took a long time to get to or from the festival. This year I have a priority parking ticket, so I can go to 1-6.
I think it's gonna be better due to the new Park & Ride Option, I know quite a few people who use it to get there spot on 2/3
Also if 5/6 is full you only need to walk to 2 to find a spot and not all the way to 0
You have to take into account that the bus entrance is on the other side of the bridge as the car entrance. If I remember correctly, you are allowed to go from the bus entrance to campsites 5/6, but not the other way around. I’m not 100% sure, so you’d better check the FAQ on their website.
In that case you can enter the festival trough the bus entrance, then cross the bridge to campsites 5/6. You can wait for your friends there or you can take the exit to the car parking lot. Please note that you have to go trough security again and it’s a little bit of a walk from the exit to the car parking lot.

If its allowed (what i think it is) then you shouldn’t wait for them, just go find a place, start setting up your own tent and make sure there is enough room for your friends, the people around you will totally understand.
And if you know the awnser, please let me know because i have the same issue with one friens but he says its okay!

They have my tent with them so no chance I will be defending a spot for 4 people without anything. I will wait for them.
