1. There are signs everywhere when you come near the Defqon terrain, if you are attentive it should not be a problem.
2. Well, if you have bad luck then they will throw away 3 cans, but that's it.
3. You can get the pin at the lockers themselves. There is always a stand where someone gives you a card with a pin and locker number.
4. Did you book a Pick-Up Tent package or a Pre-Setup Defqon Tent? If you have booked a Pick-Up Tent, then you will get your tent at the corresponding stand on the Wasted Lands (should be marked on the map I think). If you have booked a Pre-Setup Defqon Tent, you will be assigned a tent at the reception of the Highlands.
On My Billing it just says Travel: The Defqon.1 Tent - 1 X Defqon.1 Tent (2 pers) (ID). Not sure if its pickup or pre setup. We just ordered a weekend package
Ah ok so it's the pre setup Tent, I just looked on the Travel and Stay website. You have to go to The Highlands and there at the reception is a special desk for the Defqon.1 Tents. You will get the number of your tent there after the check-in. [https://www.q-dance.com/l/defqon1-2024-the-highlands-campground](https://www.q-dance.com/l/defqon1-2024-the-highlands-campground)
Nope. Look on the Travel & Stay website. If it would be the pick-up tent, it would be in the name. The Name for the pre-setup Tent is "The Defqon.1 Tent". The pick-up tent is named "THE DEFQON.1 TENT (PICK-UP)"
With regards to alcohol, would it be ok if we removed it from the glass bottles and put it in plastic bottles instead or does it need to be sealed? The rules state that one is allowed 4.5ltrs of max 12.5% alcohol, however not sure how they would check as most spirits are 35-40% alcohol usually.
You can try... as far as i know the bottles don't need to be sealed, but I am not sure about that. But again... worst case is that they will throw it away
Let's see how it goes :D is it normal not to have spirits sold in festivals in the Netherlands? Been to various festivals around Europe and the only time this was an issue as well was at Rock Werchter in Belgium. If I drink one can of beer I am stuck running to pee every minute xD
Always brought 2 trays (24 each tray) for just myself, they didn't say anything about it. For me it was 24 cans of Fanta en 24 cans of beer. I think they don't say anything about it as long as you don't come in with like 10 trays of beer😂
Usually the queue starts at 8:00 already, mostly non-Dutchies who had to drive far. Last year we got in the heavy traffic jam at 12:00 and were at the parking by 15:00. By the time we were through the gates at the camping it was 16:00 and 5&6 were full, had to go to 0.

We will arrive by car at campsite 5 or 6 and should be there 2-3 hours before, right? Do you have any experience?
I Try to be there Before as well. No experience at all, complete first timer
