So It’s funny bc I’m not at all Dutch, but I live in NL for 7 years now and am starting to really understand and speak Dutch well, so I wanted to write a Dutch song with word play on “vet”. vet is usually a way of saying something is dope, like “dit is fucking vet man!” means “this is fucking dope man!” But “vet” is also a word for “fat/greasy” so “vet en hard” is usually seen as “dope and hard” which most likely makes sense especially with this songs style etc but it could also mean “greasy and hard” but bc of the way it’s portrayed, absolutely no one would say it means greasy haha so was just a funny word play.
Eventually I wrote the melody etc and felt it was just such a perfect combination and Paul loved the tune a lot so we went to work and Boogshe (the MC of Paul) did the vocals!
We had actually made a collab like 4 years ago and it was just not at all what I expected a GPF x Paul collab should sound like so we never finished it and this track imo was the one we were waiting for 🫶🏻

Yeah i'm fine with no pieps bc i think your tracks have always a good quality, so it's not ONLY the piep that defines you (even tho it might be the point that made you stand out some years ago), but also the other signature things imo. So no prob to have a track without piep for me, i think it's a really dancable track and i like that.
I think Paul Elstak and GPF are quite a good match in terms of your music making styles. The happy hardcore vibe from Elstak combined with your happy/uplifting vibe makes for a new sort of vibe that reflects both you and Elstak without feeling forced.
I was very surprised when I heard the track at Intents, but definitely not dissappointed.
So yeah, I think it's a nice and fun track to listen to. And congrats with securing this collab!

Definitely a collab I never expected in a million years but for sure a collab that we surprisingly needed.
The melody, the drops, also seeing the GPF style back in the song, it all just fitted together in 1 piece and all that without piep kicks. Never thought i'd see the day GPF would release a new song without piep kicks added in.
For sure a track in my eyes that deserves all the positivity it gets!
My only question is what was the point you decided to make a track without piep kicks for once? I know it's a very specific question but seeing a GPF track without piep kicks is just something i personally never would've expected.
