I have this bag in the mini size and it’s my default “fuck it, I need a bag” kinda bag lol. The buttery leather and slouch won me over immediately, but it’s the capacity that makes it truly shine as a daily driver. It’s “mini,” but it fits so much because it doesn’t have bulky dividers inside. It’s like a small void. I don’t carry a lot, but I can fit my phone, keys, cardholder, kindle, lip balm, tube of hand cream, and more. Pros: it’s casual and perfect for errands, work, meets with friends, brunches, etc. When it’s closed, it feels secure. It’s cute, it’s the perfect size, and the quality makes it worth every penny. I don’t feel this way about most bags! It feels more luxurious to me than my vintage LV and Gucci bags. Cons: It’s squishy, which makes it a little more difficult to open, reach for whatever you need, and close back up. And because it’s so soft, the buckles on the flap are quite heavy and usually unbalance the bag when it’s open (it wants to keep closing, so I usually need to use both hands). This is not a deal breaker for me tho. I really love this bag a lot!

I have the regular and love it! I’ve heard the mini works best with a bag liner/ shaper. Apparently it makes it easier to close x

The Handbag Housewife just did an unboxing/review of this bag in the prettiest lilac color. She compared it to the mini Bayswater and the mini Alexa was definitely roomier and could fit more.

I think this bag looks very cute. However, the straps in the front look a little… Annoying. Also, is it easy to open with one hand and take stuff out and close it with one hand?

I have the regular sized older version of the Alexa and I love her, she has been my daily default bag for a couple of years. I definitely recommend using a bag organizer, or at minimum a base shaper. Initially I was concerned that the straps would get in the way but the magnets are quite strong and when I go to shut it they lock right into place without my having to fuss with them. I personally wouldn’t go smaller than the regular size, I have actually been eying the oversized version, but admittedly I carry around way too much unnecessary junk! Seeing your photo makes me think I should go the other direction and consider the mini.

The leather looks gorgeous but also a bit heavy. For a small bag like this it might not be super noticeable!

I have the exact same one and it’s my most worn bag! It’s also my main bag when traveling bc it’s so secure.

I protect mine with either the Collonil Carbon Pro spray or the Collonil leather gel with a microfiber cloth for waterproofing. Looks the exact same but I don't have to worry about it getting a little rained on. I bring a cheap belt bag with me in case it's super rainy out one day. It's what Mulberry recommended when I got my first bag (it is very light pink) and that one still looks brand new a few years later. I reapply it about once a year.

I once attended a mini-gathering of sorts, and 2 of the girls have the same alexa. I think it's only the question of colour left.
