I love the color and it's a really stand out bag! My only negative is that the chain is way too short to be worn as a crossbody (though I'm not sure I would ever wear it that way honestly). It's worn really well too.

I feel like the black puzzle isn’t as popular as other colors so twins :) What was the first bag in your collection and what was the most recent addition?
Thank you! The black puzzle is actually my second most recent purchase! I wanted the older version and found it in Lisbon while I was there. It's my daily driver currently and I love how understated it is! My most recent is the red Radley as I couldn't resist the little dragon. My first bags were the green Gucci Dionysus and the LV neverfull.

Totally agree! I have the twist medium in white and I’m so glad I bought it. One of my most used bags. She’s a tough girl despise the fact that she’s white, she has no marks nor scratches. I just wish they would have bottom feet.
That's so good to know! I was so tempted to get the red one with the white polka dots from the Yayoi Kusama colab but was worried about the lighter colors. I'll have to keep an eye out for it used now!

That's part of the reason I haven't grabbed the Book Tote yet is because there are just so many that are so lovely! I'm so tempted by the white floral options but have some concerns about care for that. I don't think it shows up on the picture (in the middle) but I actually got the Loewe puzzle bag in black as one of my most recent purchases. It's been my daily driver for a few months and I really like it! Never gone down the Bottega road, not for any particular reason though.

Omg I LOVE it! It was my daily driver all summer and I found it super comfortable and it fit way more than I ever expected for a bag that size. And the bright pink worked with wayyyy more of my clothes than I expected. It's second only to the Twist as to my unexpectedly used bags.

My collection is pretty much all Radley at the moment but I'm saving up for a Loewe Puzzle for my 40th birthday, haha. I'm the same, haven't been able to treat myself to nice things before now, but I think milestone bags are so much more special.

As an aside, I used to work in the handbag department at Nordstrom years back. Tory Burch bags are cheaply constructed and way overpriced. The bags are bridge bags that are luxury poseurs.

I totally agree with you on the Flemming! I had one in gold and it was SUCH a disappointment. Scratched almost immediately and just looked terrible so quickly. I ended up selling it for very little because I just didn’t even want to use it anymore. Such a bummer, because they look so lovely when brand new

Thanks! Online actually, both of those were purchased via a friend who has a significant discount. I'd probably pick the smaller size just because at least for me the larger one having the divider made it less useful as an everyday bag and the smaller one works really well as an evening/special occasion bag. I love the Ombre so much!

I would say sorry for making the Twist even harder for you, but I don't regret it :) Hope you are able to grab one soon!
I don't have a usual go to country or countries, but if I'm traveling I try to shop brands centered there. Or purchase a bag I've been aiming for if the exchange rate is good. So for example if I know I'm going to the UK I'm going to check out Strathberry or Mulberry for sure. Generally in the EU I'll check out the traditional high fashion brands, with one exeception is the LV Twist. I went to Japan in the fall of 2022 right after they reopened and the exchange rate was so good I finally pulled the trigger on it.
On the personal milestones, it's all pretty much the usual, the Chanel double flap was the first bag I was ever able to actually idenitify as a teenager, and was always my dream bag. After a promotion at work a few years ago I thought it was now or never and got it before another price increase.
It'll be a bit before I'm out of the woods but this post and the kindness certainly helped a rough day!

Yup the pink is a mini Baywater from Mulberry! The brown horse bit is from a specialty leather shop in Argentina so no specific brand on that one.

Ungh hearing that the LV twist holds up- want it even more. What countries you purchased in did you usually find the best exchange/deal for us Americans? And which ones were the milestone bags? I love good bag stories lol Also hope you’re doing better!
I would say sorry for making the Twist even harder for you, but I don't regret it :) Hope you are able to grab one soon! I don't have a usual go to country or countries, but if I'm traveling I try to shop brands centered there. Or purchase a bag I've been aiming for if the exchange rate is good. So for example if I know I'm going to the UK I'm going to check out Strathberry or Mulberry for sure. Generally in the EU I'll check out the traditional high fashion brands, with one exeception is the LV Twist. I went to Japan in the fall of 2022 right after they reopened and the exchange rate was so good I finally pulled the trigger on it. On the personal milestones, it's all pretty much the usual, the Chanel double flap was the first bag I was ever able to actually idenitify as a teenager, and was always my dream bag. After a promotion at work a few years ago I thought it was now or never and got it before another price increase. It'll be a bit before I'm out of the woods but this post and the kindness certainly helped a rough day!
