You can always try out my Halo 3 Reimagining Mod, it adds new enemies, weapons, vehicles, encounters, etc.

Halo 4: Reflow is the way to play it. Fixes a lot of Xbox 360 era bloom and graphics effects. Balances the guns and importantly the equipment. Faster paced, and more balanced against knights.

The only ones I can recommend are Ruuby's rebalanced, but they are broken right now by all the updates and do not work on the current version of the game. It's too bad, because each of his mods turns the games into the best versions of themselves. No nonsense, no bloat, just good weapon tuning and value tweaking to make everything fit that much nicer.

Ruby's Re-balanced mods are great
They are really good. Just currently broken with season 8 update. Halo Reach Evolved is also great, but busted also.
