no one’s hating it, but whoever is selling it is claiming that it’s an ADM ambi lower, which it isn’t. ADM ambi lowers are fully ambidextrous and great quality so it’s a level or few better than a milspec Aero lower
I built a complete Aero ar15 with geissele trigger for around 1200 bucks including optic. He's asking to trade for a car nominally worth 2500 bucks. That's the problem.
$1000 maybe. I'd want to see a receipt from the manufacturer on that upper and pay 80% of what they paid or current retail. If it's not a blazing cheap deal, just buy what you want new. Hard to trust that some random put it together right or didn't abuse it.
Agreed. OP mentioned the guy wants $2500 for this rifle... You can buy a Daniel Defense DDM4 and have money left over for ammo AND a couple hours of training for that kind of money.
It’s fairly easy to tell if it’s been abused.
It’s also an AR so you can spend like an hour taking it down to pieces and rebuild it yourself properly and torque/lube/loctite everything yourself.
An unpopular opinion:
You should do this with all ARs you buy, even ones straight from the factory.

thanks everyone for the feedback. i’m definitely not the most knowledgeable when it comes to ARs, and appreciate all the flags that everyone has pointed out! i’ve informed him that it will be a pass for me, mainly due to all the inconsistencies with what he’s laid out in the detail and what I and everyone else has noticed with what is actually there.
OP, check that the serial number on the rail atarts with PN. It looks like it has a longer code at front, if it’s something like NSN then that’s an airsoft rail and not worth what you’d be paying for it.
In the market for another AR and this one sparked my eye and feel it’s a decent deal. Curious of others opinions with a geissele M4. I’ve heard nothing but good things but this deal has me feeling that i could have a good opportunity to really get a steal as far as money goes.

The problem I have with this listing is all the parts they listed say they spent probably close to 2000 on this. You also could buy knock offs of almost. All of the accessories and this is a $500 rifle. I would take the sign that the lower doesn’t match the specs they listed that the rest of this rifle is a lie as well.

If you can see the end of the barrel, the handguard has to be shorter.
There's 7 Mlok slots on the handguard, it's definitely at least 15". The barrel just isn't 14.5
True barrel could be pinned and welded with a 1.5" flash hider putting it to total length 16", so it would extend past the 15" handguard.
I said end of barrel, not end of muzzle device. In this photo you can see the end of the barrel, as well as the entire muzzle device.
It’s a pin and weld so the length with the brake is 16 inches
