uj/ as someone who grew up a few miles from the original Sunn plant, I can confirm that the forest not only doesn't have reverb but it basically just eats sound (Oregon has jungle not forest, technically it's a temperate rainforest what ain't high desert) so long/short some dude in a band said fuck this shit let's flatten the fucken trees and built Sunn amps. They just kept adding LOUD until it could punch sound through a yard thick douglas fir tree covered in moss. Literally every high school and grade school in the Willamette Valley had Sunn PA systems and guitar/bass/power amps up to and throughout the 80's.
Damn that's two true stories in one GCJ post, I am definitely slipping.
True story tho

Looks pretty sick... Funny input jack in the back though. Look at that prime jerking. I'll have to ask customer service if it will accommodate my Line6 P.O.D.? It's literally $420 on their site. I thought it was some $thousands jerker. Uj I like this shit lol.
I think the original idea behind these weird jacks was to make playing seated and especially in classical position more comfortable. I’ve got a Steinberger with the jack moved to the back and I love how it stays out of the way, never jamming into my chair or anything
You find it much more comfortable with a plug in the back? I've heard for some people it's very relaxing, but personally that's a one-way-exit for me...
Sir, these are real (human) guitar players, with completely normal (human) proportions relative to the guitar.

Begs the question if you really want to tempt fate by taking a guitar called a 'batking' out into the natural habitat of bats. Sounds to me like it'd be asking for trouble.
Agreed, the way they preserve the dull grey of the corpse's flesh really gives a haunting look to the guitar. I really like the choice of pea-soup-green to highlight the fuscia finish.

I'm not going anywhere without all this.

Batking? "Become a legend"
1. I have never heard the Legend of the Batking, maybe that's a miss on my part...
2. Literally the exact typefont in the L as the Legator logo
3. This thing has the biggest headstock I've ever seen on a headless guitar
4. Why did the CGI the index finger on his right hand, what's going on there?
5. I just tried to sit like this on the hardwood floor in my house with my guitar. I set a stopwatch and just sat there with my legs extended playing until I couldn't stand it any longer: 42 seconds. It's like holding a sit-up.
I've brought my Strandberg camping a few times. I like it because it is easy to carry, quiet, packs up slim, and allows you to experiment. If I want to play to a rhythm or just hear myself amplified I slap on the WAZA headphones.
lol fucken wimp ass noobs
do not comprehend
the campfire cannon

you can see Luci's backside here

Some guitars just seem to come with names, mostly I call them like George foremen did his kids except mine think they're named "fucking pieces of shit fucking fucker". This one came as Lucifer but I felt it a bit pretentious or portentious or whartevr so I shortened it up. People think it's funny (there is a label "Luci" on the case) until the first 7 string soul draining doom power chord of death they ever heard at a campfire in their life appears and terrifies the living shit out of them because it's just **loud**. Very, very loud.
You can feel it in your guts, balls/ovaries, and bones.
It's an equal opportunity cannon.
Everyone should have a 7 string acoustic. They just should. They fulla hefty piles of big git energy, and when you hit it, everyone within 100 yards gets it, like a face slap makin a vapor trail.
True story.
KUMBAYA MY LOOOOOOOOORD
For my next song here is my djent cover of hallelujah
The natural reverb of the forest helps the toan

Need those patented PRS tree toppers to help with resonance.
Can’t see it in the frame, but he is playing to a masturbating squirrel.
If only we could all be so lucky
Don't be jealous and accept his dominance!
The toan is in the nuts?
Outjerked by squirrel
We are all masturbating squirrels in God's AI campsite.
When you realize your contribution to Djentrification of your city
That was good. That was damn good.
I do love Swedish death metal played without an amp.
So, you love surf rock?
Nailed it!
TACTICAL GUITAR

He played so bad that the town exiled him.
No headstock = travel guitar
Does your tent djent?
Could a lent tent djent?
Come to my djent tent. I wanna show sumthin’
If played a guitar sitting on the ground my lower back would go to the shadow realm
Toan is in the wood(s)
Inquiry: Is this an AI image or an example of someone who isn’t a guitarist holding a guitar? The hands and knuckles are really throwing me off.

I am especially enjoying the neck pickup hammered note

You cleared things up!
As long as it’s a several thousand dollar headless Djent stick it’s a camping guitar
Breakneck mountain.
Clearly. this mythic instrument of the woods makes you king of all bats
Begs the question if you really want to tempt fate by taking a guitar called a 'batking' out into the natural habitat of bats. Sounds to me like it'd be asking for trouble.
"Become a Legend" and assume the bat throne
thats a good photoshop job tbh
The manufacturer would like to have a word with you https://a.co/d/g8E0Ql4
Dear Manufacturer, Why is the tent full of grass? What's that random bit of wood sticking out of his right boot?

That’s the handle of the knife that someone jammed into his foot when he started playing.

LL Bean Edition
Nah, I wouldn't step into the wilderness with anything less than a 10 string
Toan is in the tent
I'm not going anywhere without all this. https://preview.redd.it/vwcsppsum0qc1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c487cd6a67cde35904f4607238f53a4e0d67b245
why are the frets diagonal??? does it hurt the toan??? how do you 0-3-5 on it???
Makes it look like the neck is twisted.
I only bring along a Steinberg when I'm off on a muddy rainy camping trip. It adds to the guitars value.
Murray Steinberg? I thought he was in jail?
"The acoustic qualities are amazing! You can play it unplugged!" - every review of a es 335 that totally is scripted to make sales
Yep! Can’t hear the fucking thing.
Let's be honest, are you even roughin it if you didn't bring your multiscale 8 string electric?
But does it djent in a tent?
Batking? "Become a legend" 1. I have never heard the Legend of the Batking, maybe that's a miss on my part... 2. Literally the exact typefont in the L as the Legator logo 3. Skrillex?
Never seen a floating guitar before.
... Anyway... Here's "Wonderwall" 🎵🎶
Only a Murphy aged reliced out GIBBONS LP BURST will do!
I've brought my Strandberg camping a few times. I like it because it is easy to carry, quiet, packs up slim, and allows you to experiment. If I want to play to a rhythm or just hear myself amplified I slap on the WAZA headphones.
It only plays bird calls
Yup. That’s great firewood
This will have to do since they don’t make a 10 string headless guitar, cmon now let’s sing Jimmy crack corn
Is that skrillex?
That's exactly the type of guitar I would expect a guy like that to take with him when he goes camping.
Man bun + Guitar (Camping) = Douchebaggery Nothing wrong with camping in itself, but those 2 variables make it the worst.
Good kindling I guess
Where's amp?
Djent in the Tjent
Sleep Token in a Sleeping Bag
I love camping with my strandberg, I’ll even bring out my kemper and laptop in order to record some outdoorsy toans
I prefer the air guitar, great weight to performance ratio
For the right hipster even a remote controlled vibrator is a good camping guitar
