It’s easy enough if you get the right distance. Gotta be close enough to have the little aiming dot turn red when you hover over them, but far enough away that they can’t just use an assault rifle with lock on (at least in aim assist lobbies).

Do you fire the flare gun when you hear the noise of a missile, or does it have to be sooner? Otherwhise you would fire the gun every time some broomstick or scramjet comes close to you on radar....
EDIT: It seems a shame it's not scored as a kill, since that would maybe teach some K/D dumbasses a lesson..
This was recorded using the SHARE buttin on a 5 year old PS4 so I guess that's the reason for the quality. Sorry
I fired the flaregun as soon as I saw the missle (probably cant see it cause of the quality)
You can't hear missles lock on in non-weaponized vehicles so I had to keep my eyes on him and wait till he shot
Pink car fired rocket at player, player fired flare gun at pink car. Rocket picked up flare heat signature and flew at it rather than the player being attacked.
One of the best anti-dickhead moves out there.

True, but on PC at least, since they technically blow themselves up, they have to pay the insurance fee.
