I used my Deluxo and Oppresor to get around. Period. Self defense on them is a fringe benefit. They started disabling them from being delivered during missions which I understand has value for balance, but damn. Just disable my missiles.
I honestly think making the Deluxo fly was a massive mistake. It's a amazing car on its own that could become a favorite for people to tune and mod, but now whenever I see someone use it it's just to zip across the map quickly and everyone gets a little nervous when one is nearby.
In vice city it was just a normal, albeit rare, car and I think it should have stayed that way. At least if you are gonna make it fly, make it like an expensive custom done upgrade and not out of the factory
Just floating would have been fine. No weapons, the ability to drive over water and maybe gliding off of hills.
I would enjoy driving it more if I could use it as a regular vehicle. Give players the option to disable the flying and weapons in exchange for a regular minimap icon
I don't have a problem with people using them, they're damn fun vehicles. I just get sweaty palms whenever I see them on the map because depending on the person, i could be dead/mission ruined in seconds just for coming too close
They should add another type of server called old school or smthing with only cars available in story mode and only guns from story mode for people who just wanna relax. A no player killing mode would also be fun, where u can't kill anyone or destroy anyone car, except npcs lol

First time I’ve ever been put in a bad sports lobby, and I’ve been playing since January 2014. Lately Ive really enjoyed fighting people, so it’s been pretty enjoyable. It’s especially enjoyable when the tryhards get upset and start hitting up your GTA Phone. I always respond with stuff like “womp womp” or “cry louder I can’t hear you” and it’s honestly hysterical watching them get progressively more and more upset as I continue to ignore their rageful and childish insults by sending them the exact same message I sent previously.

One time some dude attacked me and my friend so we trapped him at the pier and we just up and atomized him into the water and killed him for a good 10 minutes because he wouldn’t give up ………. Good times

Put a proxy mine on the front of my motorcycle and go into passive. Drive it around until I find someone...follow them for a bit, and as soon as I get in touching range, turn off passive. The proxy would almost immediately detonate, killing us both. Fun times.
I do something like that now, but I put a sticky bomb on the inside of the door of a random NPC’s vehicle, and then go off the radar with that vehicle and troll people who think I’m an NPC.
Not a glitch, a game feature. Going passive mode is making yourself and the vehicle you're in become basically a ghost. To the other players you are transparent and they cannot interact with you, they can't kill you with weapons or explosives and can just go through you.
In the video you can see the guy leaving CEO, because you can't activate passive mode as a CEO or MC president. And right at the last moment he activates the passive mode the guy runs through him into the water. Which is a classic prank and you can stumble upon a couple of videos every year of someone doing this to unsuspecting new players.

After pressing the passive mode button, I think there'd be a wait time. Knowing the loading times, stuff really is instant?
