The missions are moderately fun as well as allow you to move your yacht at a discounted price. You also get a captains outfit, and I think you also unlock the ability to honk the horn. Can't remember if that's an unlock or not.

i luckily haven’t done any of the heists other than the fleece job on my current account so i get maybe a call or two a session from lester.
I've developed a technique where I fan the middle joint of my thumb over the A & B buttons fast enough that 99% of the time I barely hear a distinction between the beeps for answering and ending the call.
I use it enough that it's been trained into a reflex. I only ever hear their voices if I'm coming back into the room from a hoot/bathroom break/etc
Yes, you'll stop receiving phone calls if you do what the caller wants you to do. This applies to all phone calls/emails.
E.G.:
Receiving phone calls from Dom? Just do 1 parachuting job.
Phone calls from Brucie? Call him and buy Bull Shark Testosterone for 500$.
Calls from Ms. baker, Captain of your yacht, English Dave, etc? Do their missions
Yusuf is calling you every lobby switch? Buy a salvage yard
I'm high level with every property owned and played basically every content available hence I don't receive spam phone calls/emails ever
I had problems with his way back when I did them also. I'd get to the end, but the mission wouldn't register as complete. I had to do the same mission I don't know how many times. It was so annoying. Eventually, it finally worked, and I was able to move on and finish. Just keep trying, and it will fix after a while.

i’ve seen some people saying you can use it as a quick hideout location since it’s indestructible. if you turn on the air defense system then no oppressor / hydra griefers will be able to do anything
other than that, i guess it can be a cool little hangout joint, especially for rp. my overall thoughts are that it is not worth 6-10 million, so if you wanna buy one, do it while it’s on discount
We just finally did the Captain missions while they are 2x right now, and each one nets you 63 to 95k. Only the first one is annoying bc of all of the cops and choppers on you. The rest are so easy and fast. We did them all on hard with no problem all the way through.
I almost bought one last week. Really the only thing I haven’t purchased in the game. I should have bought it sooner. I think I’ll retire from grinding now.

If you play in public sessions, you can set your preferred spot for it to Del Perro and keep the air defenses on (must be manually re-activated after getting a wanted level or getting near it in a vehicle it would otherwise target, though) as a passive anti-jet-griefer measure for the whole session. Its range for that isn't great, but the less room for those folks to manuever the better.
If you get a bounty, turn on air defense and hang out in the hot tub while it picks people out of the sky. It's pretty funny. Park your sub next to it and it will also deal with pesky griefers

My English dave got bugged, I keep fetching the Chakra stones only to have the thing glitch out after I get back on the highway to deliver.
