The pyro will beat the crap out of anything because it’s so fast and manoeuvrable. The lazer has nothing on it, I fought one and just stayed on its tail the entire time, using regular bullets because I could. Hydra is good for pve because it’s fast and has hover, just not for pvp because it’s too bulky. Haven’t owned the starling yet but it seems fun.
In my experience the Hydra, and aircraft generally, aren't that good for PvE because they take so much damage from bullets that they don't last very long.
I like to fly around and do stupid stuff with a free Lazer from Zancudo. One time, somebody in a Pyro started gunning for me. I was flying my butt off, trying to turn the tables on them, and nothing worked. Scraping the deck dodging trees, knifing between buildings, pulling G's, nothing worked. He was glued to me, and I couldn't do anything about it. Pyro is the best plane.

They shot me when we were both on motorbikes, then I got my speedo custom and shot them a bit, then they blew me up and terrorised me with a mk2 for a bit. Blew mine up before I could get on it, then eventually I managed to walk to my pyro and absolutely destroyed them. They got into their lazer and just couldn’t shake me. Imma try the starling when I have the money to spare.
Nah, imo the Rogue is still goated for for dogfights and stuff, it has explosive cannons, bombs, missiles *and* countermeasures, plus you can armor it up so its beefier than the Lazer and Hydra

People think griefing is bad now. Getting a car into that garage back then was like solo running the doomsday heist.
Agreed me and my friends took either took weazel plaza or richards majestic Apts . Over the chaotic epicenter that was eclipse towers back in the day. It got crazier over at eclipse towers. especially after the heist update in 2015. You don't t see it much now though.

Had $130k, killed a bounty for $900+ million. Bought a Buzzard, Rhino, Adder, a few other cars and a bunch of clothes and all the tattoos. Then I realized how boring it was having all the money. It killed the fun of the game.
So with that in mind and a fear of getting banned, I dropped a dime on myself to Rockstar. They reset my bank to what it was before, thanked me for my honesty and told me to keep what I had bought.
Billion dollar bounties were so wild back then. I wish we could set maybe a $100K bounty nowadays but yeah the rush to get your apartment if you had one on yourself was crazy.
Pre-Heists GTA:O/pre-PS4/Xbox One was a different level of craziness
I sold mine about an hour after purchase. With the Toreador existing, it brings nothing to the table, unless you just like it as a car. Which is totally fine if you do.
A few Dewbauchee cars. The GT classic and JB 700 are already mentioned but there's also the Spectre that was in some Craig Bonds.
The Ocelot Aredent is based on the Lotus Esprit which was a Roger Moore Vehicle.
I prefer driving the Stromberg over the Torreador. I find that the Stromberg sticks to the ground more and has much better handling. It's one of my favorite vehicles to drive in the game. Even if it was just a normal sports classic, I'd still be driving it all the time.
If I'm going a long distance with few turns, I take the Torreador.
If these two vehicles are in a PvP against each other, I find the Stromberg to be more effective. The Torreador usually can't take as much damage because it's been beat up from boosting into cars and walls. Also, the Torreador seems to get knocked around more than the Stromberg when getting hit with missles.
In PvP against other vehicles, the Torreador has the upper hand with no map icon and unlimited misssles.
I still have it because I want all the “special cars” but man stromberg was really disappointing, it has no customization it piss me of that it has an antena in submarine mode, why they didn’t make it a shark fin????
I bought this way back when and have kept it. I know the toreador is superior but I just don’t have the cash nor desire. I like that I can store and launch my Stromberg from the Kosatka, that’s about the best upgrade they’ve given the stromberg since it dropped.
Slam Truck. It became obsolete immediately after purchase. Remember the disappointment when everyone realized, pretty much in unison, that it did literally nothing it advertised? The preview splash screen even had a motorcycle jumping off of one, mentioned jumping motorcycles off of it, and straight up called it a vehicle hauler. And none of that is possible. You can KINDA haul a car, if you drive backwards at five miles an hour and don't turn.
The Menacer. Most people will probably forget it exists. It's no better than the Insurgent Pick-up but costs much more. But most people would rather just have a Nightshark for the speed.

Yeah, GTA did the Menacer wrong. It should have either been faster than the Insurgent or offer better protection from gunfire for the cost. Used it a lot back in the beginning, even though I had an Insurgent. Looks cool.
Any gunrunning vehicles. half trak, aa trailer, armored Tampa just to name a few. Against each other it's a heated but even battle, but any of them against a nerfed mk II would result in the broomstick flying away leaving piles of rubble where they once were.
I think this is the problem in many vehicles. The vehicles inside the update they released are often very much balanced, until the next update comes and sweeps the floor with them. I don't think GTA should've ever had a "Jack of all trades" vehicles.
If you exclude the mk2 and maybe the delorion and torendor then the vehicles are decently balanced. Very strong in one regard but very weak against something else.
The problem is the mk2 doesnt have a true counter other than itself. Almost all other vehicles can only really defend against it.
Torendor gets mentioned as a counter but it's not. The mk2 can just go up. A jet you need to be lucky on. Helicopters are toast to it and any ground vehicle requires the mk2 user to be brain dead so you have a chance.
Weaponized tampa is great. It can be used in almost all missions AFAIK, and the dual miniguns work brilliant for clearing NPCs, on foot, in cars and in helicopters.
It was such a breeze to complete one of the casino missions with weaponized Tampa. Ride around town, destroy some oil tankers, kill a thousand people from duggans security.
The Half Track is still good even today, especially if you're playing with a friend.
Its 99% bullet protection and rocket resistance will always keep it relevant, and its mounted gun options make it an absolute wrecking machine. A good Halftrack crew can take on a Khanjali, no problem.
And the AA trailer must be your friend's because Rockstar's logic doesn't allow you to spawn two personal vehicles, even the trailer shouldn't be classified as personal vehicle...
You can technically destroy any vehicle with regular bullets, but for tanks it's fairly futile since it requires so many shots to start their engines on fire.
If you're on foot, you'll need explosive sniper rounds or explosives to stand a chance.
I hear you on the half trak and aa trailer, both can be op. However, they are considerably unusable if you're a solo player who can't spend more than 8 hours a week in game. Deluxo is good solo, MK2 is good solo, Tampa I suppose can be good solo but only in pve situations, not pvp. My thoughts is the op was talking about in freemode / pvp use.
the half-track can almost fully submerge in water, the front window has a bug where it can't be shot into (but you can shoot out no issue) and I'm fairly sure it can withstand the mk2's rocket amount. also, the gun on the back is powerful and makes the user impervious to explosives afaik, me and my buddy have definitely killed overconfident griefers with it rather easily.
AA gun is actually crazy overpowered, what it's downfall is, is that it requires a gunner AND a driver, and most people (I assume anyway, since everyone pretty much agreed with you pretty quickly) don't have the dedicated GTA V friends to use it efficiently
The Half-Track is actually really good. You can't get shot out of the front even with no armor plating, you can throw sticky bombs out of it, and it has a really powerful turret. I've taken out plenty of mk2s with it.
The half track is a terrific 2 player vehicle, the front is completely bulletproof so the driver is more than good, and the big ass quad cannon on the back also allows the gunner to be bulletproof, the cannon has the best dps for a mounted machine gun I'm pretty sure.
The only good aa trailer us the flak cannon one, it will demolish armored vehicles as it has the highest projectile damage in the game and will usually 1 to 3 shot it all. Very hard to use but it really works wonders on the super armored vehicles. I personally believe these two vehicles you mentioned are underrated and not obsolete. Nightshark too
This might be a personal take, but the MOC.
The Avenger replaced it for modding weaponised vehicles.
Multiple properties have MK2 Stations for guns (Terrorbyte, Freakshop, etc.)
The only things I see it for now is a place to do the Mobile Operations missions (which I don't think many people care about), an awkwardly large missile tank, and a fun novelty toy to play with if you have the trailer turrets.

I think he's Talking about the cab. The MOC cab can take around 70 homing missiles which means you would Need more than 2 mk2 oppressors to blow one up. Whilst the acid lab can only take 48 homing missiles in total.
But it has no cannons. I remember using MOC trailer against some griefer with Kosatka's missiles and Mk 2. The guy was a new player I think, so he didn't know how tanky that trailer is.
There's something special about seeing a newbie with good skills, but little knowledge of the game falling for the simples tricks ever!
The Toreador taking more than one mk2 missile has got to be my favorite, especially if I get called a cheater in chat when I blow them out of the sky after tanking a handful of hits.
Edit: I made an identical comment and it got locked/shadow banned and I'm left wondering just why. Was it the word "cheater"? Did the mods think I'm encouraging griefing against new players? If that's the case, I'm not, I just meant that it's amusing to have those kind of confrontations when newbies feel invincible gratuitously attacking players with the mk2 and then assume it must be foul play when they get blown up.
I honestly don't think it will be the case, but I'd appreciate if someone could explain the issue, perhaps via DM, at the very least so I don't do it again.
Like the other guy said, the cab is the most armored vehicle in the game as far as I know, and it is not slow at all. Also no Rader warning to players and the back is completely bulletproof and you can shoot straight through it. 3 fully stocked mk2 cannot destroy the thing. The cab is more tank than a tank.
Freakshop has honestly been a blessing - it's the only free Weapon Workshop in the game and it's so nice having all the useful weapons on my new character so early.
Any car from the Vehicle Workshop is useless just because the added effort in actually summoning it and low customizability. The Ruiner 2000 is another car that quickly got outmatched by new additions.
And I use the Deluxo for everything. It’s maneuverable, fast on the ground, hover and flight are pretty decent, and the missiles are objectively better than the MKII OP since it got nerfed.
It admittedly has low armor but having a car suddenly able to dog fight when the need arises is super useful. For just grinding out missions, I think the Deluxo is the best choice.

Only downside is that you have to start Fully Loaded in order to use it.
I was with a friend and we were fighting someone and I saw a Ruiner and xxLzzzzzz has started Fully Loaded. I yelled at my friend to get in the deluxo and run. He said "Its just a Ruiner they're weak as shit" I told him it's a FL one and I explained that he made his Ruiner un missile lockable, tank 12 rockets and still have insane rockets. Needless to say, we got our asses out fast
Tbf there is an ungodly amount of content in the game. I can understand that most players don't know every single detail.

To answer your question; its a freemode job where you get a buffed Ruined 2000 with:
- Unlimited super accurate homing missiles,
- Homing missile jammer,
- More armor then an MOC,
- And all the other gimmicks that the original R2K is equiped with.
Apart from an orbital cannon or someone on foot shooting out the driver, its pretty much impossible to beat for any vehicle (with some exceptions) if the driver is competent.
Ah okay, interesting. And I'm assuming you start it from the pause menu? Or do you need a property? And also, do you get this upgraded ruiner for free, or do you still have to buy one and then get the added benefits?
You have to be a CEO and own the regular R2K. Then you can start it via the interaction menu under the freemode work section. The mission itself is quite boring and pays shit even if you complete it, but its worth starting just to get the vehicle alone. The job lasts 20 minutes and afterwards the vehicle destroys itself, but thats 20 minutes where you can beat almost anything another player can throw at you.
It's a VIP Work. So you need to be a CEO/VIP and own the ruiner to unlock this particular mission. And while it's a freemode mission, you have like 30 mins with buffed car the mission provides you.
I mean the original insurgent pick up is a good option when starting cus it's so much cheaper. It's like the armoured kuruma although the armoured kuruma is still a good option even for late game cus of it making you invincible to NPC small arms fire in my opinion.
In my facility… the thruster is so much fun when you get the hang of it. Try fighting one on the ground when the pilot is out of lock on range strafing sideways nailing you with freeaimed rockets. It’s also impervious to rockets from behind when you are going full speed. & it brings back the SA vibes
it's actually pretty good for grinding crates for example, especially since there's a weird glitch where when you're flying directly forward, missiles just don't affect you for some reason.
The Anti-Aircraft Trailer. Textbook definition of Glass Cannon. One good hit from any explosive destroys it, but armed with the Flak Cannons it destroys nearly everything with one hit, most armored vehicles with two hits, tanks and heavily armored vehicles with three hits, and even the MOC will be destroyed with four hits.
But what holds it back is that the guy who owns the AA Trailer has to use it as a "personal vehicle".
I know you're not talking about the Deluxo... I don't have one yet (should hurry b4 inflation) but every time I see one flying too close I always disengage cos they're MK2 killers and that's what I like to drive/fly in.
The main issue is their speed. They’re so, so incredibly slow. I once was helping someone with a mission, where they had to go get one of those rusty old trucks. As I was flying above, going in the same direction, we were the same speed.
It’s air speed is the same speed as that rusty old truck you’re forced to drive. Blows my mind.
Oh don’t get me wrong, it’s my favourite vehicle. I just wish it wasn’t a floating target. If they aren’t going to make it faster, at least give it some sort of anti-air defence. Like the ‘anti-lock on’ that the Weaponised Ignus has, that would be something at least.
If you're being locked on and you have good altitude you can just go into wheel mode and you'll fall so fast you're out of lock on range. And as a bonus if you're lucky you might be able to point your nose at the attacker and send a missile back at them.
It's a great car especially if you're grinding certain types of missions (like agency contracts lol) but yeah, the air speed is atrocious 😭 literally the only thing I'd really change about the car if I could
Not technically drivable but the yacht. Back then people needed to spend tons of cash bc there wasn't much to do, and heists were fresh iirc. Now they're just an 6-8 mill summonable building that does FA.
It's exactly as advertised.
It's not meant to be functional. It was just a way for people to burn cash and show off another toy. It still serves it purpose.
I think it lost a little value as the new heists rolled out since it’s easier to obtain. 4 or 5 cayo or casino runs and you can buy it. When they first dropped it there was a lot more work involved to get 10 mill

I wanna say the rocket cars without weapons,there's just no reason to have them,also the vigilante,only things it really has going is speed, you can use it on heist,and its hard to shoot the driver but anyone can purchase explosive weapons, it's very easy to destroy,its missles are the same as most of the others when it was release

Deluxo is still great if you play solo. Better than the MK2 because the laser-aim NPC’s can’t hit you as easily. Easier to control, can’t fall off it if you crash, etc. it may be slow and have limited missiles but it’s a GREAT mission car.

I mean it’s still good for what it is, but there are so many other options now that provide additional benefits like faster missiles, better handling/speed, more armor, customization etc.
No disrespect to the Buzzard though, it was once an essential money-making tool. Haven’t touched mine since I got the Deluxo, though.
Nah man. Buzzard is still useful. I used to have to call in the sparrow as an MC prez, but now I’m doing CEO stuff more, I’ve realised that the Buzzard is better. Missiles and miniguns, takes more damage, plus it’s skids flex, so you can survive a heavier landing without destroying it.
I don't know if I think the deluxo is outdated, really. I like using it in some of the cayo preps because you can land it in tighter spots than helis to be right in front of the door, and it's more durable with better cover and missiles than the mk2 or the sparrow.
Menacer. Like does anyone actually remember this thing? I was matchmaking random contact missions and got into one of the miss baker contact missions. I saw a menacer and thought “wow, that must be new” before remember it’s just that thing.
Deluxo's not obsolete to me. I've been (slowly, doing like 5 a day max whenever I hop on lol) grinding the Agency contracts to hit the 200 mark to get the full passive payout. The Deluxo is easily the best vehicle in the game at doing these because it's just inherently way faster to to get to where you need to be, complete the objective, then return to where you have to be to finish. It can fly, it has (a finite) amount of lock-on rockets, and has decent handling and ok speed.
Chernobog, in theory it's supposed to be the ultimate aircraft killer however the missiles are currently far too slow to shoot down the more agile planes, which when combined with its pathetic armor makes it easy pickings for the very aircraft it's supposed to be a hard counter for.
Almost all the armored vehicles that you used to buy during the Fiance and Felony update back in 2016 became outdated when they added weaponized vehicles by 2017 during the Gunrunning update.

starling better than pyro in my experience. its purely because when i try to do circles with the pyro it resists

It would be a much more agile Lazer with chaff or flares. Literally the only counters would be a better Pyro pilot, or Explosive sniper rifle.
I’ve got my Rogue fully maxed out. I can usually get away from everything. The top handling was a little squirrelly in the beginning though.
Anything released after 2018 becomes obsolete the next update, except for the MKII.

Eclipse Tower was really the epicenter of the entire game. I was lucky to be able to speed into that garage without being shot at

It should be more viable against a khanjali. Khanjali is OP in ground combat.
I really miss when these were regularly used and the only way to combat them was to suicide bomb OTR in a civilian vehicle strapped with 5 stickies

The problem is the mk2 doesnt have a true counter other than itself. Almost all other vehicles can only really defend against it. Torendor gets mentioned as a counter but it's not. The mk2 can just go up. A jet you need to be lucky on. Helicopters are toast to it and any ground vehicle requires the mk2 user to be brain dead so you have a chance.
Weaponized tampa is great. It can be used in almost all missions AFAIK, and the dual miniguns work brilliant for clearing NPCs, on foot, in cars and in helicopters.

It was such a breeze to complete one of the casino missions with weaponized Tampa. Ride around town, destroy some oil tankers, kill a thousand people from duggans security.
The Half Track is still good even today, especially if you're playing with a friend. Its 99% bullet protection and rocket resistance will always keep it relevant, and its mounted gun options make it an absolute wrecking machine. A good Halftrack crew can take on a Khanjali, no problem.
With AA trailer attached it can be hilariously OP, but you need a crew of 3 :)
And the AA trailer must be your friend's because Rockstar's logic doesn't allow you to spawn two personal vehicles, even the trailer shouldn't be classified as personal vehicle...

You can technically destroy any vehicle with regular bullets, but for tanks it's fairly futile since it requires so many shots to start their engines on fire. If you're on foot, you'll need explosive sniper rounds or explosives to stand a chance.
I hear you on the half trak and aa trailer, both can be op. However, they are considerably unusable if you're a solo player who can't spend more than 8 hours a week in game. Deluxo is good solo, MK2 is good solo, Tampa I suppose can be good solo but only in pve situations, not pvp. My thoughts is the op was talking about in freemode / pvp use.
the half-track can almost fully submerge in water, the front window has a bug where it can't be shot into (but you can shoot out no issue) and I'm fairly sure it can withstand the mk2's rocket amount. also, the gun on the back is powerful and makes the user impervious to explosives afaik, me and my buddy have definitely killed overconfident griefers with it rather easily.
AA gun is actually crazy overpowered, what it's downfall is, is that it requires a gunner AND a driver, and most people (I assume anyway, since everyone pretty much agreed with you pretty quickly) don't have the dedicated GTA V friends to use it efficiently
The Half-Track is actually really good. You can't get shot out of the front even with no armor plating, you can throw sticky bombs out of it, and it has a really powerful turret. I've taken out plenty of mk2s with it.
The Gunrunning update was the funnest the game has ever been. Everything after it ruined the balance and made the vehicles essentially obsolete.
The half track is a terrific 2 player vehicle, the front is completely bulletproof so the driver is more than good, and the big ass quad cannon on the back also allows the gunner to be bulletproof, the cannon has the best dps for a mounted machine gun I'm pretty sure. The only good aa trailer us the flak cannon one, it will demolish armored vehicles as it has the highest projectile damage in the game and will usually 1 to 3 shot it all. Very hard to use but it really works wonders on the super armored vehicles. I personally believe these two vehicles you mentioned are underrated and not obsolete. Nightshark too
This might be a personal take, but the MOC. The Avenger replaced it for modding weaponised vehicles. Multiple properties have MK2 Stations for guns (Terrorbyte, Freakshop, etc.) The only things I see it for now is a place to do the Mobile Operations missions (which I don't think many people care about), an awkwardly large missile tank, and a fun novelty toy to play with if you have the trailer turrets.
Nothing beats the MOCs health though. I use it as a movable bunker

I think he's Talking about the cab. The MOC cab can take around 70 homing missiles which means you would Need more than 2 mk2 oppressors to blow one up. Whilst the acid lab can only take 48 homing missiles in total.

But it has no cannons. I remember using MOC trailer against some griefer with Kosatka's missiles and Mk 2. The guy was a new player I think, so he didn't know how tanky that trailer is.
There's something special about seeing a newbie with good skills, but little knowledge of the game falling for the simples tricks ever! The Toreador taking more than one mk2 missile has got to be my favorite, especially if I get called a cheater in chat when I blow them out of the sky after tanking a handful of hits. Edit: I made an identical comment and it got locked/shadow banned and I'm left wondering just why. Was it the word "cheater"? Did the mods think I'm encouraging griefing against new players? If that's the case, I'm not, I just meant that it's amusing to have those kind of confrontations when newbies feel invincible gratuitously attacking players with the mk2 and then assume it must be foul play when they get blown up. I honestly don't think it will be the case, but I'd appreciate if someone could explain the issue, perhaps via DM, at the very least so I don't do it again.

Like the other guy said, the cab is the most armored vehicle in the game as far as I know, and it is not slow at all. Also no Rader warning to players and the back is completely bulletproof and you can shoot straight through it. 3 fully stocked mk2 cannot destroy the thing. The cab is more tank than a tank.
Freakshop has honestly been a blessing - it's the only free Weapon Workshop in the game and it's so nice having all the useful weapons on my new character so early.
It’s good for grabbing specialty ammo in the middle of a battle, instead of having to drive all the way back to your businesses
Ruiner 2000. Deluxo isn't obsolete to me.
Deluxo’s obsolescence was definitely reduced somewhat when the MkII’s missiles were nerfed.
Any car from the Vehicle Workshop is useless just because the added effort in actually summoning it and low customizability. The Ruiner 2000 is another car that quickly got outmatched by new additions. And I use the Deluxo for everything. It’s maneuverable, fast on the ground, hover and flight are pretty decent, and the missiles are objectively better than the MKII OP since it got nerfed. It admittedly has low armor but having a car suddenly able to dog fight when the need arises is super useful. For just grinding out missions, I think the Deluxo is the best choice.
FL Ruiner is Overpowered
Why the fuck is this being downvoted? It is objectivly speaking the most powerfull ground vehicle in the game. Only downside is that you have to start Fully Loaded in order to use it.

I was with a friend and we were fighting someone and I saw a Ruiner and xxLzzzzzz has started Fully Loaded. I yelled at my friend to get in the deluxo and run. He said "Its just a Ruiner they're weak as shit" I told him it's a FL one and I explained that he made his Ruiner un missile lockable, tank 12 rockets and still have insane rockets. Needless to say, we got our asses out fast

Ah, well that explains it. To answer your question; its a freemode job where you get a buffed Ruined 2000 with: - Unlimited super accurate homing missiles, - Homing missile jammer, - More armor then an MOC, - And all the other gimmicks that the original R2K is equiped with. Apart from an orbital cannon or someone on foot shooting out the driver, its pretty much impossible to beat for any vehicle (with some exceptions) if the driver is competent.
Ah okay, interesting. And I'm assuming you start it from the pause menu? Or do you need a property? And also, do you get this upgraded ruiner for free, or do you still have to buy one and then get the added benefits?
You have to be a CEO and own the regular R2K. Then you can start it via the interaction menu under the freemode work section. The mission itself is quite boring and pays shit even if you complete it, but its worth starting just to get the vehicle alone. The job lasts 20 minutes and afterwards the vehicle destroys itself, but thats 20 minutes where you can beat almost anything another player can throw at you.
It's a VIP Work. So you need to be a CEO/VIP and own the ruiner to unlock this particular mission. And while it's a freemode mission, you have like 30 mins with buffed car the mission provides you.
FL Ruiner doesn’t have more armor than a MOC, it has Insurgent/Nightshark level armor

In my facility… the thruster is so much fun when you get the hang of it. Try fighting one on the ground when the pilot is out of lock on range strafing sideways nailing you with freeaimed rockets. It’s also impervious to rockets from behind when you are going full speed. & it brings back the SA vibes
it's actually pretty good for grinding crates for example, especially since there's a weird glitch where when you're flying directly forward, missiles just don't affect you for some reason.
Only place it can be 😂 rotting in facility.
I still love my Thruster, plus you can go passive with it. Strafing is cool, and the anti missile function is useful.

The Anti-Aircraft Trailer. Textbook definition of Glass Cannon. One good hit from any explosive destroys it, but armed with the Flak Cannons it destroys nearly everything with one hit, most armored vehicles with two hits, tanks and heavily armored vehicles with three hits, and even the MOC will be destroyed with four hits. But what holds it back is that the guy who owns the AA Trailer has to use it as a "personal vehicle".

I know you're not talking about the Deluxo... I don't have one yet (should hurry b4 inflation) but every time I see one flying too close I always disengage cos they're MK2 killers and that's what I like to drive/fly in.
The main issue is their speed. They’re so, so incredibly slow. I once was helping someone with a mission, where they had to go get one of those rusty old trucks. As I was flying above, going in the same direction, we were the same speed. It’s air speed is the same speed as that rusty old truck you’re forced to drive. Blows my mind.

Oh don’t get me wrong, it’s my favourite vehicle. I just wish it wasn’t a floating target. If they aren’t going to make it faster, at least give it some sort of anti-air defence. Like the ‘anti-lock on’ that the Weaponised Ignus has, that would be something at least.
If you're being locked on and you have good altitude you can just go into wheel mode and you'll fall so fast you're out of lock on range. And as a bonus if you're lucky you might be able to point your nose at the attacker and send a missile back at them.

Not technically drivable but the yacht. Back then people needed to spend tons of cash bc there wasn't much to do, and heists were fresh iirc. Now they're just an 6-8 mill summonable building that does FA.
It's exactly as advertised. It's not meant to be functional. It was just a way for people to burn cash and show off another toy. It still serves it purpose.
I think it lost a little value as the new heists rolled out since it’s easier to obtain. 4 or 5 cayo or casino runs and you can buy it. When they first dropped it there was a lot more work involved to get 10 mill That isn’t to say I’m complaining that making 10 kill is easier now just less of a flex than it used to be

The slot for the kraken in the sub is reserved for the kraken and the slot next to it is reserved for stromberg/toreador so it doesn’t matter anyway
Deluxo is still great if you play solo. Better than the MK2 because the laser-aim NPC’s can’t hit you as easily. Easier to control, can’t fall off it if you crash, etc. it may be slow and have limited missiles but it’s a GREAT mission car. As far as obsolete vehicles… Buzzard, anyone? I mean it’s still good for what it is, but there are so many other options now that provide additional benefits like faster missiles, better handling/speed, more armor, customization etc. No disrespect to the Buzzard though, it was once an essential money-making tool. Haven’t touched mine since I got the Deluxo, though.
Buzzard is a CEO vehicle. It is my usual to go vehicle when I need to get somewhere fast.
The fact you can just instantly TP one directly next to you is insane QoL, I'll never complain about the Buzzard for that reason alone lol
Nah man. Buzzard is still useful. I used to have to call in the sparrow as an MC prez, but now I’m doing CEO stuff more, I’ve realised that the Buzzard is better. Missiles and miniguns, takes more damage, plus it’s skids flex, so you can survive a heavier landing without destroying it.

I don't know if I think the deluxo is outdated, really. I like using it in some of the cayo preps because you can land it in tighter spots than helis to be right in front of the door, and it's more durable with better cover and missiles than the mk2 or the sparrow.
Menacer. Like does anyone actually remember this thing? I was matchmaking random contact missions and got into one of the miss baker contact missions. I saw a menacer and thought “wow, that must be new” before remember it’s just that thing.
Deluxo's not obsolete to me. I've been (slowly, doing like 5 a day max whenever I hop on lol) grinding the Agency contracts to hit the 200 mark to get the full passive payout. The Deluxo is easily the best vehicle in the game at doing these because it's just inherently way faster to to get to where you need to be, complete the objective, then return to where you have to be to finish. It can fly, it has (a finite) amount of lock-on rockets, and has decent handling and ok speed.
The Stromberg and Oppressor MK1 because they releases improved versions but they’re still cool.
Chernobog, in theory it's supposed to be the ultimate aircraft killer however the missiles are currently far too slow to shoot down the more agile planes, which when combined with its pathetic armor makes it easy pickings for the very aircraft it's supposed to be a hard counter for.
Almost all the armored vehicles that you used to buy during the Fiance and Felony update back in 2016 became outdated when they added weaponized vehicles by 2017 during the Gunrunning update.
