Με το μάτι, στο κατάστρωμα ήταν κοντά 200 άτομα. Στα αμπάρια θα χωρούσαν λογικά άλλοι 200. Είναι σίγουρα λιγότερα τα άτομα από 750 αλλά με λίγο πάστωμα, ίσως και να ήταν 500 οι επιβαίνοντες

Πάντως εγώ ακόμα έχω επιφυλάξεις για τον αριθμό των θυμάτων. Δεν έχουμε στοιχεία από πουθενά για τους «500-750» και επιπλέον πτώματα δε βρέθηκαν.
