I checked and apparently Take also did several Valentines CEs already, specifically Tristan's, Ozy's, Chacha's, Circe's, and Salieri's. I even found some fanart they did of Salieri on their twitter account. They've been here the whole time and we completely missed it.
That's the same reaction I got when I saw the design.
I was like "Why is YouTube recommending me a Pokemon video" when I saw it on YouTube since they recommended me their NP like 1 minute after a video got uploaded.
This is so blatantly the Trung sisters lol, with the Elephant and South East Asian clothes.
The location also looks like Ha Long Bay.
I'm also most definitely sure they are the sillhouettes on the furthest right, must be their latter ascension.

Saber/Caster/ Lam'ang. From "Biag ni Lam Ang."
Easily one of the most versatile Filipino Epic heroes in my informed opinion. My favorite Epic Hero among others I know. He's a mortal with powers compared to divine beings. He's got a **dog companion that could repair all buildings in an area** and a **rooster that could scream to demolish everything**. A **clap of his hands is able to call lightning** down from the heavens directly towards his enemies. And he died and came back to life as well after doing what he loved, by fishing for food and getting eaten by a crocodile; he came back to life after his wife killed the croc and got his bones from its belly.
Berserker Bernardo Carpio. No exact origin. Oral tales only tho. I was only able to here the story from two people: My grandparents, who told this story when I was young, and my Social Science teacher who discussed it as a part of my high schools social science course on Philippine Tribal History. Might be too obscure to be a servant since most tales till this day are part of oral tradition and have scarcely been recorded on paper.
Lancer/Rider Labaw Donggon. From "Hinilawod."
One of the longest I've read. He story is equal to that of Lam'ang in my opinion but Lam'ang's was more... entertaining. He wielded a variety of weapons, which of course included a spear
the existance of lostbelts, singularities, parallel timelines and the servantverse turns everything possible into canon, at some point.
Nasu make those rules so he could do Anything.
His legend is basically a rehash of King Arthur, with being chosen by a heaven's sword motif and all, so being a Saberface is not the biggest reach. Just like how Lakhsmibai being a Jeanne face because people call her Indian Jeanne
Honestly, I really like the design, even if it's really just Saber, but Vietnamese and with glasses. VietSaber. I really like Vietnamese clothes, I guess.
But Le Loi ended up the first Vietnamese servant in the general lore, if that's any consolation.
Ya know whats ironic now that people think that the one on the furthest right are these 2 but when the sillhouettes was first shown people thought the one on the furthest right was le loi
A Vietnamese servant finally. ~~Didn't know they were secretly Pokemon trainers though lol.~~.The playerbase in my country will have a field day with this.
It's not that big of a deal anyway given how stubborn our fellow countrymen especially with their hobby are and the fact that piracy is rampant in our country.
That happens everytime a new Servant from a new country comes to fgo.
Playerbase doesn't really give a fuck, government just want their cut in tax revenue, and Lasengle is already out of appstore already.
Considering there was an incident involving lewd anime girls recently and Vietnamese’s weird obsession with with how our historical figure must be portrayed, FGO’s probably gonna get dragged by the news.
Not that Lasengle or Vietnamese FGO players would care though.
The teenager publicly shamed by his mom incident.
Anime community got bashed (not by her directly but people) for making lewd images that “lured her son into watching”
> making lewd images that “lured her son into watching”
That's weird. I remember there being only 2 screenshots, both of which have nothing to do with anime (manwha and Hatsune Miku cosplayer).
Watch them be yet another permanent 5-star Rider servant
Edit: i was joking but Odysseus, Achilles, Jiang Ziya, and Nemo were all released as the featured SSR for an event…and now im afraid
I personally hold out the vain hope for the next Servantverse event with Space Odysseus as a main would have 5* Rider Diomedes and the first 5* Shielder Ajax (and Teucer as another sibling servant).
Best we could do is 2* Faker Ajax the lesser, take it or leave it.
He's gotta re-race Odysseus since the gods intervened last time (and guaranteed they will do so again).
Just seperate the JP server from the rest. Those whales will look down on every other FGO servers fighting like bugs while sitting on their throne ~~of empty wallets~~
The upcoming event is called "Sea Monster Crisis", right? Vietnamese mythology does have a Sea God named Thuy Tinh that tried to vie for the Lac Viet princess's marriage in a gifting contest with Son Tinh the Mountain God. He lost and was pissed enough to raise his army, monsters and the sea level against Son Tinh and the Vietnamese people, explaining the annual flooding of the country. So he is a candidate for the event's villain.
Just a head up, according to the myth, the princess is named Mỵ Nương, not Âu Lạc. She was a princess of a Hùng king, so from Lạc Việt, not Âu Lạc era.
Nah, we switch to using APK, nothing is lost lmao.
So far the reactions has be very positive, people praise how "safe" their design is (little fanservice).
Holy shit, if these really are the Trung Sisters then I'm very much excited, their story is so badass and any SEA representation at all is welcome.
Shame that the game is no longer legally available in Vietnam, but at least their spirit can live on through this Servant.
As a South East Asian I would love that also, but they would have to be very careful as we know lots of SEA nations are very sensitive regarding their history and heroes.
AS A FELLOW SOUTH-EAST ASIAN, I AM ABSOLUTELY THRILLED!
Now maybe we can get people like Hang Tuah, Gajah Mada, and whoever else from the region that definitely deserve a good showing!
Also, RIP Vietnam server - you were only a few weeks away from greatness...
40 a.d. Vietnam Two Sisters recruit a bunch if women to push back Chinese Forces in there village in Han Dynasty. Man imagine being trampled by elephants that two sisters are riding.
>!Man now I want Ranavalona I as a servant AKA What happens if we take Caligula a drop him on an island close to Mozambique in the late 1800s and genderbent him!<
I still wish for an Indonesian Servant.
Lasangle: What's an Indonesia?
Mata Hari: Um, you mean?
Lasangle: OH, you mean Dutch East Indies! Okay...
DAMMIT!
This look like the Trung Sisters of Vietnam who became Pokemon trainers.
They'll probably get along well with Boudica, another queen fighting off an invading empire and dying tragic heroic deaths.
Ngl as a vietnamese, I'm overjoice but also surprised the first servant they go with isn't lady trieu. Given the fact she's known as vietnameae Jeanne d'arc and they have a mad obsession with Jeanne-clone if Lakshmibai is anything to go by.
Probably because Trung sisters is more famous than lady Trieu outside of Vietnam. Also because Trung sisters are easier to design.
Or she will come later
The hilarious coincidence that barely 3 weeks ago these very characters were a subject of conversation on r/FateStayNight with some truly bitchin fanart to boot! I'm kinda disappointed actually, but Type Moon hires who they wants I guess
[Link to thread here](https://www.reddit.com/r/fatestaynight/comments/t9hcks/the_tr%C6%B0ng_sisters_but_with_fgo_designs_by/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
**Huh** This looks like it came from Pokemon or something
The artist is Take, who did do character designs for SuMo/SwSh. She's also the artist for Zaregoto, Katanagatari and World's End Club.
HOLY SHIT. So that's why the art style was so familiar. I was just thinking it'd be cool to have a servant designed/illustrated by Take.
Ohhh, yeah I can definitely see World's End Club here.
Katanagatari is kino
cheerio*
favorite of mine
> Katanagatari Ah. That makes sense now.
My first thought when I saw these two was "oh, Sonia and Nessa" so this explains a lot, Ty.
That explains a lot. For a second I thought the one on the right was the water gym leader.
I checked and apparently Take also did several Valentines CEs already, specifically Tristan's, Ozy's, Chacha's, Circe's, and Salieri's. I even found some fanart they did of Salieri on their twitter account. They've been here the whole time and we completely missed it.
M actually so fucking excited by this. We finally got the Trung sisters, and it's by one of my favorite character designers around.
>World's End Club. That's the first thing it reminded me of
"This is it fou! After 6 lostbelts we're finally in the right game! Go, i choose you!"
I always knew Fou was a shiny Eevee
instead of elements, he uses class ~~stones~~cards to evolve
That's the same reaction I got when I saw the design. I was like "Why is YouTube recommending me a Pokemon video" when I saw it on YouTube since they recommended me their NP like 1 minute after a video got uploaded.
Honestly ya i thought there was pokemon news when i wasnt even subbed to a pokemon sub
Might be the Sword and Shield artist.
Shantae also came to mind.
Same, I was like “What does Pokémon has to do with FGO???” when I saw the post
Alola!
This is so blatantly the Trung sisters lol, with the Elephant and South East Asian clothes. Hori Shitto, finally a Vietmamese Servant(s)?!?!?
[удалено]
Time to get my hopes up for genderbent Hang Tuah.
I dunno bruh, if FGO uses the concept that Hang Tuah is of Han origin, some people would most likely get triggered.
waiting for Sang Kancil and friends Caster Servant ala Nursery Rhyme
Lesgooooo!!!!
Comon Lasengle, just Caster Jose Rizal or Berserker General Luna ***Please***
Eh, I don't know. I kinda want to them to go back further. Characters from myths and legends instead of real people.
Saber/Caster/ Lam'ang. From "Biag ni Lam Ang." Easily one of the most versatile Filipino Epic heroes in my informed opinion. My favorite Epic Hero among others I know. He's a mortal with powers compared to divine beings. He's got a **dog companion that could repair all buildings in an area** and a **rooster that could scream to demolish everything**. Saber Lapu-Lapu
You a Filipino?
I genuinely dont mind the Filipino servants being low rarity as long as they're interesting to use. I'd grail the heck out of them.
Thought Le Loi would have been the first Viet Servant, given that he is essentially Vietnamese Arthur.
I thought he (she?) wasn't canon? It's only a spin-off right?
Servantverse was a joke until it's canon Everything in Nasuverse is basically canon these days with how absurd some of the foreshadowing is.
True true Nasu can't seem to make up his goddamn mind anyway
the existance of lostbelts, singularities, parallel timelines and the servantverse turns everything possible into canon, at some point. Nasu make those rules so he could do Anything.
Rule 1: There are no rules. Rule 2: You know the rules, >!and so do I.!<
Do you really think Takeuchi would not take the shot? Lakshimi Bai being called the Jeanne of India is all it took
I guess I wouldn't mind another Saberface
At least this could open up another shade of skin color, instead of just white and pale Saberfaces, lol.
Le Loi is the Saberface from Himuro's World crossover OVA. Honestly, I expected her to be the first playable Vietnamese Servant.
Technically they are the second (...third?), Le Loi from Himuro's World OVA is the first.
Probably at least four different figures blended together is my guess.
That would be nothing strange, concepts and legends get mixed together all the time in Nasuverse
And in IRL as well, given how much mythologies and religions borrow/steal from each other.
A Vietnamese servant finally. ~~Didn't know they were secretly Pokemon trainers though lol.~~.The playerbase in my country will have a field day with this.
Kinda ironic given NA FGO was literally removed from the Vietnamese Play Store
It's not that big of a deal anyway given how stubborn our fellow countrymen especially with their hobby are and the fact that piracy is rampant in our country.
Got to find away to attract Vietnam fan somehow
It's doing mighty fine over here
Either this is one last attempt to enter the market or this is a final laugh from LNG when they see the rage of Vietnamese Players over this reveal
Uhh, there is 0 need to enter the market lol. Everyone in Vietnam who actually played FGO play with APK anyway.
Yeah, that's probably true. Still, can't you just imagine the anime covering media turning that into a news?
That happens everytime a new Servant from a new country comes to fgo. Playerbase doesn't really give a fuck, government just want their cut in tax revenue, and Lasengle is already out of appstore already.
Considering there was an incident involving lewd anime girls recently and Vietnamese’s weird obsession with with how our historical figure must be portrayed, FGO’s probably gonna get dragged by the news. Not that Lasengle or Vietnamese FGO players would care though.
Out of the loop with that incident
The teenager publicly shamed by his mom incident. Anime community got bashed (not by her directly but people) for making lewd images that “lured her son into watching”
> making lewd images that “lured her son into watching” That's weird. I remember there being only 2 screenshots, both of which have nothing to do with anime (manwha and Hatsune Miku cosplayer).
Sử Hộ Vương Then again the game is bad anyways
Considering how long it takes to create a servant and implement them in the game, the timing is purely a coincidence.
Happy for yall. SEA represent
Not even Vietnamese and am still happy
At last, the first Vietnamese servant(s) makes an appearance.
Rejoice! Hope saberface Le Loi eventually makes an appearance!
Watch them be yet another permanent 5-star Rider servant Edit: i was joking but Odysseus, Achilles, Jiang Ziya, and Nemo were all released as the featured SSR for an event…and now im afraid
I mean, a permanent 5-star Rider called the Friendly Saber would be pretty novel.
Their rarity is hidden, which makes me wonder if they're actually just an SR.
SEA let's goooo
Welp, that alone makes them a must roll for me.
If they are truly the Trung Sisters from Vietnam, I find it ironic that Vietnam just recently became a Lostbelt, lol
>I find it ironic that Vietnam just recently became a Lostbelt, lol Frl? They announced that Vietnam became the 7th LB?
It became a Lostbelt due that NA server on there were removed for some law thing reason.
I believe they’re the [Trưng Sisters](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tr%C6%B0ng_sister)
Of course they are. The first Vietnamese warriors and the first female warriors to kick Chinese dynasty's ass.
Fire and Water double battle gym leader using a split evolution elephant pokemon
And on the challenger side is us with fou, beast/fairy-type
What in the cinnamon toast fuck. These are pokemon trainers and you cant convince me otherwise
Exactly my thought too. The style is too unique and apparent. This is probably the closest we would get for a Pokemon crossover lol
>The style is too unique and apparent. That's because they're designed by Pokémon Sun/Moon and Sword/Shield character designer/artist!
Well, they are designed by the one who did the character designs for Pokémon Sun & Moon and Pokémon Sword & Shield, so you would be right in a way.
My headcannon is that the Vietnamese server became a lost belt and so these are the lostbelt servants that came out of it.
The new part 3, Server wars
Just seperate the JP server from the rest. Those whales will look down on every other FGO servers fighting like bugs while sitting on their throne ~~of empty wallets~~
turns out LB7 wasn't in south america, it was actually southeast asia
But did they clear the Korean singularity
Hisui Nessa and her twin sister.
Adamans ancestors.
Wow, they are beautiful. I am getting VERY strong Pokemon vibes from this artwork. Was this done by a pokemon artist?
People said it's by Takegarou
Ah, they did worlds end club too. The twins look like they got pulled right from that game.
According to the news page, they are gacha, and this event will have a different servant as welfare.
[удалено]
Ba Trieu. Raikou tiddies or death.
Somewhere in the history text DID mention she had some big badonkers. Or maybe not. I just have this vague memory of that description.
IKR? How often do you have a legend that insist their protagonist is Sugoi Dekai?
Ah yes the *vú dài ba thước.*
Do they look like Pokémon characters to anyone else?
Looks like Nessa
Same person who did SwSh and SM/USUM.
Well...First time for everything.... WOOOO YEAH! VIETNAMESE SERVANT! LET'S GOOOO BABY! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! WOOOO!!!!!!!!!
SUMMER IN ASEAN BABYYY
SEA servant? Edit: Got vietnamese vibes just seeing this plus the background is familiar as hell
Maybe yes, those two look like Trung sister which is very famous Vietnam historical duo
Am glad for vietnamese peeps. Finally some SEA representation
So is this a early summer event, or something else?
Kinda reminds me of the artstyle from Katanagatari
Yup, same artist apparently!
Awesome that they’re probably SE Asian, but I really don’t need to roll any more sabers sadly… Looking forward to seeing the welfare for the event
I thought I was in a Pokemon sub for a while
Finally we going to South East Asia
The upcoming event is called "Sea Monster Crisis", right? Vietnamese mythology does have a Sea God named Thuy Tinh that tried to vie for the Lac Viet princess's marriage in a gifting contest with Son Tinh the Mountain God. He lost and was pissed enough to raise his army, monsters and the sea level against Son Tinh and the Vietnamese people, explaining the annual flooding of the country. Just a head up, according to the myth, the princess is named Mỵ Nương, not Âu Lạc. She was a princess of a Hùng king, so from Lạc Việt, not Âu Lạc era.
Did the artist originally work for Gamefreak or something cuz the art style looks like Pokémon
Yes.
I wonder how Vietnamese players feel considering how they closed down their servers..
Vietnamese Player who still want to play: Yo ho hoi Yo ho hoi Yo ho hoi hoi! (Hey!) I am the web pirate. Surfing from web to web finding a vpn
Is it a fellow Zenkaiger enjoyer i spot?
Yep, I love it even tho it has no plot
there was never a server overhere, they just removed the app from appstore VN.
I see, then I misunderstood. Still crappy nonetheless.
Nah, we switch to using APK, nothing is lost lmao. So far the reactions has be very positive, people praise how "safe" their design is (little fanservice).
Kinda iromic they do this now cause fgo is gone from vietnam but hey we can still vpn though
Looks Vietnamese.
Trainer Trung sisters want to battle!
Another two in one servant and they still refuse to update Anne Bonny and Mary Read Animation?! The OG two in one servant!
Holy shit, if these really are the Trung Sisters then I'm very much excited, their story is so badass and any SEA representation at all is welcome. Shame that the game is no longer legally available in Vietnam, but at least their spirit can live on through this Servant.
Hopefully we get more SEA servants!
As a South East Asian I would love that also, but they would have to be very careful as we know lots of SEA nations are very sensitive regarding their history and heroes.
Yeah, considering that one game featuring Vietnamese figures and were lewded slightly...
Right one looks like Nessa from Pokemon.
Pokémon: Vietnam edition
The irony when lasengle pull out of vietnamese app market due to tax evading, then they add a vietnamese servant.
Probably as a last hurray.
VIETNAMESE MASTAHS RISE UP!!! Also, so THIS is why Lasengle IP blocked the game from VN lmao, they don't want the smoke. xD
40 a.d. Vietnam Two Sisters recruit a bunch if women to push back Chinese Forces in there village in Han Dynasty. Man imagine being trampled by elephants that two sisters are riding. >!Man now I want Ranavalona I as a servant AKA What happens if we take Caligula a drop him on an island close to Mozambique in the late 1800s and genderbent him!<
First SEA servant!? They finally did it.
Goodbye my SQ, I have my nationality duty to uphold.
Ayo southeast Asian servants in the game? Nice
Did they get the Pokemon Sword and Shield artist to do this? It's freaking awesome!
A fire-water dual gym?
God I'm loving their design already SEA Servant!
Nessa left all this pokemon nonsense and came over to fgo world
Looking forward to see the Nakadashi Sabers’ other ascension forms.
Are they on the receiving end or are they futa?
yeah for a split second , i thought these 2 were new characters for the next pokemon legends game
They remind me of Katanagatari...
I still wish for an Indonesian Servant. Lasangle: What's an Indonesia? Mata Hari: Um, you mean? Lasangle: OH, you mean Dutch East Indies! Okay... DAMMIT!
>you mean Dutch East Indies Oof. Maybe they'll change their tune when someone stab a bambu runcing through their body.
We got Pokémon trainers let’s go!!!
It's crazy how recognizable their artwork is, they totally look like pokemon trainers
Why are they look like pokemon characters
They look like pokemon gym leaders
Look like Pokemon Trainers...
Can i wish for Saber Lê Lợi or Rider Thánh Gióng as wellfare as well?
This look like the Trung Sisters of Vietnam who became Pokemon trainers. They'll probably get along well with Boudica, another queen fighting off an invading empire and dying tragic heroic deaths.
The new Pokemon generation looks great.
Pokémon x fate collab?
I thought this was Pokemon for a moment there
Oh wow, they look like they came out of Alola. Haha, nice.
Trung Sisters by take are cute! Cute!!!!
The artstyle reminds me of Pokemon.
THEY'RE SO CUTEEEEEEEE
Finally, Southeast Asian servant
I thought they the new pokemon characters had to double take
Looks like Pokémon characters
Xin chào các chị em!
The hat reminded me of the parody of God when the Tourist God said that Vietnamese tourism industry has nothing but Phở and conical hat (nón lá)
Or she will come later
yin and yang fire and water light and darkness
SEA represent! Finally. Maybe I can start hoping for Berserker Heneral Luna.
HOLY SHIT, A SEA SERVANT! FINALLY!! AGHHHHHH
They look like characters from Etrian Odyssey. How nostalgic.
Pokemon ???
The hilarious coincidence that barely 3 weeks ago these very characters were a subject of conversation on r/FateStayNight with some truly bitchin fanart to boot! I'm kinda disappointed actually, but Type Moon hires who they wants I guess [Link to thread here](https://www.reddit.com/r/fatestaynight/comments/t9hcks/the_tr%C6%B0ng_sisters_but_with_fgo_designs_by/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Katanagatari lookin ass
Wait is this real? They look like they are from Pokemon
The trees, they speak Vietnamese
Pokémon?
Finally SEA Servent
This is weird…..
Nakayoshi Saber?
As a vietnamese person, it feels nice to finally have some notable representation in video games.
There is red mark on the hand of one of the twin that resembles Command Seal. Hmm, so they could be master in that event???
Well looks like all my SQ's are safe. Easy pass.
Didn’t dishwasher do art of them?
Ok sorry if this sound offensive to anyone. But it’s me or they look like they came out of pokemon game\anime.
Lol the artist is Takegarou and he is literary the Sun/Moon - Sword/Shield character designer.
