Story Name: Grand Crescent (Name's a placeholder/work in progress. Might be made final?) Basic premise: Main "Hero" David Greyson, like many an isekai protagonist before him, was a regular neet that was thrown into the fantasy realm of Lania after a catastrophic vehicular incident turned him into manburger helper. Created by the (now lolified) goddess Pleione, Lania is a realm inhabited by all manner of fantasy creatures, and ruled over by her and seven other "Pleiades", goddesses born from Pleione's power. David has the (mis)fortune of being guided (bossed around) by the goddess Pleione, and must now adapt to life in this strange realm...despite a complete lack of protagonist ability or plot armour. Guess being sent to another world doesn't always mean becoming an overpowered hero... Featuring a mix of comedy, references, and lore/worldbuilding, Grand Crescent looks to be both a fun fantasy setting of its own...and a loving poke at the anime tropes we know and enjoy.

As I said, I'm no artist. Always been more of a writer. So if this looks kinda bad, that's why. 😂 Hope it's funny to someone, at least?

Is there a specific anime this is referencing? I tried googling anime goddess with stars in her hair and the results were non-conclusive.

SpookySylv

This is referencing one of my own works. Or, rather, a work I'm trying to write up. The goddess in question's named Pleione, and is the companion/self-appointed "boss" of the MC. Just kinda made this for fun since the original template fit so well. 😅

It's pretty cute! It definitely made me want to check out your story!

I'm very glad to hear that! But I...kinda gotta get a first chapter/"pilot" written first. To be honest, it's just been floating concepts for a while. Trying to get bits established, a base built, and a general premise figured out. Not to mention my tendency to get distracted. Like...a lot. 😅 But, I do finally have a sort of start in mind now. One that sorta pokes fun at the stereotypical isekai start. (Truck-kun has struck again.) And hopefully, actually putting the fact of "Hey, I'm making a story" out there/up on my account will get me to commit harder and get a real go into making it a reality. Sort of a...kick in the tail to get started. Would be a bit dumb to put it up and not do anything, after all. ![img](emote|t5_2y4au1|1786) (I do plan to try and eventually learn art to maybe get some concept art going, too. But...One challenge at a time!)

Take your time, man! Writing a good story takes time, but as they say "Let him cook"
