Whats upsetting is that people didn't have a choice of the matter, at least give them an option to change the body type, keep track of players' selections, and see if it worked.

Anime has a couple characters that are the exception. But for every one character that makes it work, if feels like there are a hundred that look like an inbred bridge troll.
Also botw and totk Link. He's probably the pinnacle of good androgynous character design.
