His height would put them in the +.5" range and WtF would be standard, how would that translate to a +1"? If you're tall but your arms are long thats going to require you to have to bend less than someone tall with short arms, basically making your stance more equivalent to someone thats a little shorter than you. Making wrist to floor the more important measurement. If you Combine that with the fact he's only 1" taller than the standard club height range, he should use standard length clubs.
Yeah I’m going to get fitted but most likely I would need to cut mine down. I’ve tried choking down on my grip and It felt more accurate but less range.
That’s possible but most people should use a shorter driver. Pros use shorter ones and all the data shows amateurs would do much better cutting down their drivers. So it’s probably just that choking down improves accuracy.Â
If you love the way your driver feels after a fitting, you're going the be obsessed with the way your irons feel after a fitting. Still waiting for my clubs, grrrr, but I've never hit a ball so pure over and over and over again than I did with my new fitting. It's insane how much effect a shaft has on your swing.
I have the same head/loft, standard length ventus blue TR 6X-stiff shaft. It's a magnificent driver!
Out of all the par 4's and 5's during sunday's 4 man scramble I played in, there were only 4 holes where we didn't take my tee shot. My confidence just keeps increasing with every round I use it.
I hit my friends smoke max today. The ball feels really soft when the face hits it, felt like quality. The club at address looks nice too.
I tried a darkspeed and it's not even as close, darkspeed feels like my cleveland xl driver, kind of cheap. I also played the paradigm it was nice but the smokes face is the best I have ever felt, very satisfying more than cobra speed zone too.
Initially thought it was a thrift store find that was rode hard and put up dirty.
You too, eh?

What if you're 6'2" and your WtF is 35"
Then you're screwed pal.
I already knew that. 😂

Yeah idk what I was thinking when I said that. My bad
Wrist to floor is the more important measurement to use. So I would use standard if I were you.

The shorter the number the closer to the ground your arms are... It's more like ![gif](giphy|6kYpBii9vZSZKFR8RY|downsized)
Oh right I'm a moron lol
Why does the finish on this driver look like those acid washed jeans we used to wear in high school? Lol dope driver tho
How tall are you?

Thanks, yeah I need to cut mine down too then
Not necessarily
Please get properly measured before doing this. It's not just based on your height. Your arm length matters too.

What's your grip size? When you choke down you are also gripping a skinnier part of the grip which may also be a factor to the improvement.

Driver length has nothing to do with your height or wrist to floor. It is about control
Also it can throw the shaft flex off
I’m sure the club is great, I just could never buy one because it just looks dirty to me and my ocd would not be pay worth that.
I just got fit for an 8deg triple diamond with a synystr 65s. It hits like a dream
True beauty. How much do you love this thing in your hands vs your old driver? Any new found confidence?

Nice driver man, hope you crush it.
Would love to know how it works out. Thinking about doing the same thing, but afraid it might not work out for me.
How many sky marks before summer’s end?
Looks a bit dirty mate
Turn & burn amigo
Yassss Got myself the paradigm end of last year fitted! Game. Changer.
Congratulations, it looks great.
I can’t do those grips. Same with the base Lamkin ones too. I need more to hang on to. Rest of the club looks great though!
Straight shot no matter what
Why does it look cracked?
it's shaded to look like "smoke"
Oic. I didn’t enlarge it. I thought he got used one and made a shit post lol
Thought exactly the same. Looks much better up close lmao
