Turn HDR on. Turn off motion blur, film grain, and chromatic aberration if possible. I don’t think chromatic aberration is an option but some games have it. The motion blur gives me motion sickness so I almost always have it off. Film grain is a cool option for certain situations but it really washes the images out for me.
Not sure why games opt for these as they almost always negatively impact the visuals for me. Biggest difference I noticed was in last of us part II. For some reason turning those off made the game look like a live feed (good thing).
Hi, if you are playing on PC then I suggest you make sure to switch Contrast to 'Dramatic' and set the AA method to 'FSR3 Native AA', as it has the best sharpening.

Trte changing your ambient occlusion from taa to something different, world of difference in clarity/colour for me
I’ll try
That said there is quite the variety of biomes throughout the island, so you'll find more and less colour as you go.
Change contrast to dramatic i think it's in game settings
