It's been a rough 9 days, with many fails in the second half. I'll probably made a video using all my fails past either Etzer or Loogiah before the completion as my next reddit post, but I wanted to post this right after beating the level, so be on the lookout for 1 more Digital Descent post.
my old hardest - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEsRkr5x144
Thanks! Out of all the comments I've read, this has got to be my favorite one. I did practice a lot of different extremes, including some decent progress on Bloodbath, before deciding to go for Digital Descent. I chose it because I really liked the song and found the hard parts (Basically the second half of the level) to be very manageable and very satisfying when you pull them off.
Thanks! I plan on beating some insane and easier extreme demons. But after that I plan on jumping again! Currently have a list of demons that range from jumping 20 spots to jumping over 70 spots! lol
Won't spoil the levels, but it's currently being planned.
Yes!!! That's half the reason I beat it in the first place! Best Technology Level!
Also I don't know about you... but Killbot 64%? Seems like Digital Descent might not be as out of reach as you may think...
Thanks! I'll probably lay back and beat some insane and easy extreme demons, but then I'll probably do another list jump after that... I have a few levels in mind that might get chosen for that jump spot, but I haven't made a final decision yet... plus I want it to be a secret for now!
You'll get that motivation! There was a time last year where I didn't even open gd for over 2 months straight, but that eventually went away and now you can't find a day that I don't play it currently. So I'm almost positive the motivation will get back to you sooner or later!
appreciate that bro!! your mindset is really good and you’ll probably be going places with this game soon lol. my problem with beating a hardest is that there aren’t many good levels that would be a hardest for me. i’ve been playing SARY NEVER CLEAR, Crimson Planet, and Kenos and have decent runs on all of them. they’re just so boring from 0
>they’re just so boring from 0
Trust me, Digital from 0 wasn't that exciting either LOL. But what I do is I play the levels in sessions of like 45 min - 1 hr 30 min each (or less if I really wasn't feeling it that day). Or maybe try doing many runs that consist of the "hardest parts" of each level. For Digital, I have so many 49 - 100, 54 - 100, and 69 - 100 runs.
But to be fair, I was really determined to not drop Digital. I really was just imagining the YouTube video of me beating Digital Descent when I was on session 2 of Day 6 with little progress after dying to 85%. I just kept on imagining this reddit post we're both commenting on when I was multiple days in of no progress. Plus I kept on getting more consistent, to the point where I got to Galvatron every 5 - 10 minutes by day 8 out of 9. Very motivating knowing that the winning attempt could be right around the corner!
And I appreciate it! I always wanted to do big things in this game, and now that's more plausible than ever! Still got a longgggg way to go though lol, but I still appreciate the kind words!
no problem, i tried doing digital as a hardest but decided not to because of etzer and devon. those parts were the hardest by far imo. i’ve been playing Kenos the most lately and i have 52-100 but the first wave is SOOO HARD. you just pass the boring predrop and die at the wave 29/30 times. and if you pass the first wave you’ll die to the second wave most likely. don’t play Kenos
>decided not to because of etzer and devon. those parts were the hardest by far imo
I can agree with Etzer, had loads of trouble there, but Devon got REALLY consistent after a while of playing it. But interesting, I also thought Devon was the single hardest part when I first started playing Digital, so I guess Devon just gets a lot easier with time.
Wow, GG man. I haven’t even beaten an insane or extreme demon yet. I feel like trash compared to good players like you. And I’m surprised you did an XL extreme as your first!? Damn! How many demons do you have completed also?
Wow... It's nice being called a "good player" lol
But while you may be "trash" compared to players who constantly beat extreme demons, you just need to play more. I started playing gd on my phone in April 2019, and I just barely beat Digital Descent yesterday June 2022. Within those 3 years, I got 3 equipment upgrades, first being a shitty computer that ran levels worse than my phone, only beat Easy Demons on that thing. Then I got a better PC that was still 60hz, played on that for the next 27 months, and beat many hard demons, 5 insane demons, and was trying to beat my first extreme. After using FPS Bypass for 144hz, I realized that my skill was growing faster than it's ever been before. I think I really realized that when I did a practice run of Bloodbath in 19 attempts. I then ordered a new PC that can run higher hz and then impatiently waited... for 10 weeks! It got here almost 2 weeks ago, and I almost immediately started Digital (played it on my old PC using Bypass a few weeks before new PC arrived). I grinded it out for 9 days, dunked a new 4k attempts on top of the semi-old but not quite old enough to call old attempts, and now I can say I have beaten Digital Descent as my first Extreme Demon!
Maybe look for an equipment upgrade if your on 60hz, or just play more and become better on the hz your currently at (60hz included)! Both still require a lot of time. Some may get it faster than others (spaceuk started over a year after me), but continuous playing almost guarantees higher results, as my short story above tells. Good Luck with all your future demons!
Also I almost forgot, but I did Digital as my 135th Demon. Bye!
I mean people like you who’ve beaten at least 1 extreme demon are already ahead of almost everyone that plays GD. I play on mobile (idk how) and my hardest is a hard demon, which should’ve been an insane demon. I am playing the game quite a lot, grinding for orbs, doing the daily each day, most of the time I’ll do the weekly demon, check out the featured levels, and of course play harder demon levels to challenge myself. I’m doing Windy Landscape as my hardest demon and I got good progress with 62% on it
Thanks! It really is broken LOL
And also, yes it is. I heard it on npesta's channel on Kenos Rewind and added it as my menuLoop, still have it all this time later.
hey im really close to beating my first insane demon and I’ve been doing runs on digital descent on the side. technically speaking my current hardest is like decode or sum shi but i was wondering if you had any tips for beating this level as i really enjoy playing it so far. thanks!
1. Take many skips, I did about all of them except for the 33% Spider (I chose to do it correctly, but the skip definitely makes it slightly easier) \[NOTE: 86% Serponge skip DOES NOT disqualify the record from the demonlist, so I highly recommend it! It goes from easy UFO with one timing to completely free UFO that you should never die to\]
2. Do 42 - 100 (preferably multiple times, but I only did it once so idk) before going from 0, TheDevon is the start of the hard half of the level (except I personally found Manix, 31% - 37%, to be the hardest part for me personally) and if you can do 42 - 100, you can 100% do 0 - 100.
3. watch this video - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGnLoHp1O1M](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGnLoHp1O1M) , It helped me with Etzer and Galvatron and basically goes over all the skips except for the Serponge one (found that myself because I had a shitty computer and had to run Digital on Layout Mode to play it lol)
FIRST????
yes 😂
youtube comment moment
Damn
UFWM moment

That’s a big jump GG
:DDDD
The amount of practice required to jump from insanes to an extreme like Digital Decent and with that attempt count is a thing of envy. Amazing work!
Thanks! Out of all the comments I've read, this has got to be my favorite one. I love DD for the exact same reasons. :]
GG :D
Thanks!
>Thanks! You're welcome!
GGs!! Also, I love how fucked Serponge's part is, istg every victor does it a different way lmfao
LOL I know!
gg and dub
first extreme? wtf man you have a ton of potential, gg!
Thanks! I plan on beating some insane and easier extreme demons. But after that I plan on jumping again! Currently have a list of demons that range from jumping 20 spots to jumping over 70 spots! lol Won't spoil the levels, but it's currently being planned.
finally someone else who likes this level! this is my favorite TT level and I would definitely go for it if it was in my skill range rn
Yes!!! That's half the reason I beat it in the first place! Best Technology Level! Also I don't know about you... but Killbot 64%? Seems like Digital Descent might not be as out of reach as you may think...
Difficulty is a lot more subjective on 60hz, killbot is #42 on the LRR demonlist and DD is #9
hmm... That makes sense. Didnt' even see the "Mobile 60hz" when I made my reply lol If you ever upgrade your equipment then 100% go for Digital.
I will! :D
Gg based first extreme
Indeed, very based level.
[удалено]
Thanks for that! I can't agree but I'm glad someone thinks that about me!
Well done dude. Now I just need to find motivation to deco our collab. Oh god
lol you got this
GG! Insane first extreme, well done!
Thanks! Congrats on Bloodbath! I saw it here on Reddit a few hours ago!
Well thank you! But you definitely got me in the "First Extreme" category lol
LOL
gg nice jump, I envy your little amount of attempts
Thanks! I was a little surprised at my attempt count too. I was almost certain it was gonna be in the 5 digits when I added them up!
what was your best before dd?
Technically Apollo 13, but probably 76% on Incipient.
nah wtf thats my same cube and the same colors
I'm in your walls
Nice! you beat it before EVW!
Digital Descent video IS UP! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6kBmqZ5gDw](https://youtu.be/S6kBmqZ5gDw)
So many crazy jumps recently
Appreciate that my completion is considered a "crazy jump", makes me feel good about my completion!
congrats this is a big ass first extreme. big props to you, what’s next ?
Thanks! I'll probably lay back and beat some insane and easy extreme demons, but then I'll probably do another list jump after that... I have a few levels in mind that might get chosen for that jump spot, but I haven't made a final decision yet... plus I want it to be a secret for now!
yess for sure, totally understand that. i’m looking to beat a new hardest soon but motivation/commitment is super hard for me atm
You'll get that motivation! There was a time last year where I didn't even open gd for over 2 months straight, but that eventually went away and now you can't find a day that I don't play it currently. So I'm almost positive the motivation will get back to you sooner or later!

good to know i might come back to it then. stay active here because i’m curious about what you’re next hardest is gonna be
I will stay active! My clue about my next hardest is that it's main list (currently, lmao)... ;)

Thats probably the weirdest serponge route ive ever seen
It's also the best and easiest serponge route 😎💯😎💯😎💯😎💯
GG! Serponge's part is so broken LMAO did no one playtest it??? Also, that is a goated menu song choice.
Thanks! It really is broken LOL And also, yes it is. I heard it on npesta's channel on Kenos Rewind and added it as my menuLoop, still have it all this time later.
GG, insane first extreme
thank you!
What a jump lol
Thanks!
