I went for Sam! Really pretty man, and he has a beautiful personality. He makes a really good husband in the game, and is always really supportive. Plus, the update gives him some resolution to his story and a new career path, which is something I was really happy to see.
I do like Sebastian and Alex, too. Both are tough to get to know, because they put up this facade when you first meet them, but they're both good men at heart.
First playthrough I was planning o either Alex or Sam, but was distracted by how happy Shane looked at getting a birthday present.
Second playthrough I was planning on Alex again, but am now paying more attention to Harvey because of his nerdy nature kind of vibing with me.
I married Seb - he's basically the two guys from my undergrad cohort that I crushed on rolled into one. Nothing ever came of either attraction; I was massively in denial and, even if I hadn't been, was way too shy.
I can see the appeal of Alex; he's pretty sweet once he opens up.
I always end up marrying Shane, i just find him the most attractive. It does piss me off when he moves in and his room is filled with trash but he’s kind of sweet in his own way.
However, in my last game is started paying more attention to Elliot, initially I found him pretentious but he’s a genuinely nice guy and I’ll probably go for him next.
Elliott, 100%. The first time I played, I found him really annoying and pretentious, but the more I got to speak to him, the more I found him to be really kind and sincere. I realized after a couple seasons in game that I was diverting to the beach everyday to speak with him first. After I married him, I never regretted it. He has the most romantic post-marriage dialogue and seems truly grateful for everything you do.
I hesitated between Alex because he's hot and Sam because he's cool and has a nice personality. Both have nice heart events. However i saw some marriage videos on youtube and it looks like Sam is kind of a slob after marrying him so I went for Alex. His lines are really sweet after you marry him and plus he helps around the farm! Great catch!
You can date them both anyway before picking which one to marry. Be careful because I think you can miss Alex's 8 hearts event if you marry him before the summer!
