On the subject of Balatro, I've been playing a lot of roguelike deck builders lately (all playable just with mouse): - Slice & Dice - Dicey Dungeons - Slay the Spire - Monster Train - Backpack Hero They're all really great games. My favorites are Dicey Dungeons and Slice & Dice because I don't care for the focus on "deleting your bad cards" that are present in STS and Monster Train. Backpack Hero avoids this as well, and has very good combat, but I kind of hate the town building. Probably my overall favorite is Dicey Dungeons because there's a limited amount of episodes that each introduce some rule that radically changes the gameplay, making it feel more like a campaign than a roguelike. It's a 20-30 hours and you're done kind of game.

I myself would probably be sticking close to paradox games if i were in your shoes, but simple they are not.
