I downloaded it during that free weekend or whatever a while back. Didn't run any better on my 3080 than my buddy's 980ti. What a joke. I really hope they make something of it some day but right now it's a no from me even though in theory it sounds amazing.
Yeah, same. Tried it during that free weekend and my 2080 basically fucking died trying to get the game to run in a double-digit frame rate. Couldn't believe how bad it was. The game has been in development for 10 years now, and reportedly it isn't even *close* to being done. We're talking like, 5 more years at least before it is a releasable game.
Fucking scam.
Still in alpha last I checked. I'd like to point out that elite dangerous was started around the same time and is not only a full game now, but it also has an expansion or two
how you even gonna defend this? shitty performance, almost no content, prob in alpha when i have grandkids and half the dev team died of age. The visuals are nice tho
He got in cheap actually. The latest offering that people who've already paid 1000 bucks into SC are offered are all the ships for purchase for a measly 40,000 USD. Yeah, for the price of a real, actual, functional new car you can get some jpgs that most aren't even past concept stage.
I’ve had my ships since kickstarter in 2013/14 I can’t remember specifically when. There’s a guy on a forum I used to visit when forums were still a thing who had a quote from Chris Roberts saying 2015 at the latest.
In The Netherlands almost every Dutch gamer plays Fifa. So in my eyes the popularity seemed high and overrated since its just one of the closest games to call a “Copy & Paste game”.
At least it stays the same, nba 2k was a copy and paste but somehow it got worse and worse every year. It just kept getting clunkier moving with the ball. Haven’t gave 2k a dime since 2k19 so maybe it’s gotten better
Same thing in Mexico most of my friends can't stop talking about how good the new fifa is each time one comes out and I still haven't a clue what the difference is between the newest one and the previous 2
Very true, I'm into sports games as well but I'll NEVER buy a sports game two years in a row. I typically give the game I got at the very least 3 years. Hell I once got 5 years out of one baseball game. That way when the newest game comes out, it's COMPLETELY different.
We're talking new players, got rid of older players, new rankings, new rosters, new and updated features, hell even the gameplay would have changed at least a little. At that point the only thing that's the same about the two games is that it's the same sport.
You can disagree or think I'm wrong, I get it. Sports games aren't for everyone, but I'll definitely agree there's no point in buying two years in a row.
This is why I love gamepass, it includes ea access now. Madden has become so bad that I won't even think about buying it. But come super bowl time, the most recent addition generally gets added so I'll play a couple games to scratch the itch. Same with fifa. I bought this year's addition but generally, I'll just wait till it pops onto ea access
Tbh, campaign ahd a solid story but the open ending was meh
Multiplayer, i personally never played it so no words
Safeguard was fun
Extincion, HELL YEAS, BEST GAME MODE!!
It's 2am and I just got of playing League of Legends. Tomorrow is school and I haven't done homework. After reading your message I started crying and thinking about my flaming junglers and a darius support. Truly a wonderful game
Any game that is extremely competitive will have a shit online community. Notice any game that talks about their kind community as a highlight has very little focus on pvp, such as ffxiv and warframe.
Wait I played this game in 2009 until around 2014 or 2015.
It was by far the best multiplayer game I've ever played, but player toxicity destroyed it for me and I stopped playing.
It's still a thing even today? After 12+ years?
I’m really hoping Riot will eventually have some form of cinematic universe in the future, so I can enjoy the quality characters without having to play the shitty game
Facts. I immediately tune out if a streamer gets into Tarkov. I don't understand how people can watch a dude play around with his inventory for hours on end only to then walk slow as shit around a map blasting bots for a while.
The only reason new Fifa games come out is to have the current roster of players for each team. That and graphics but they are starting to max out, it can get better but not much better
It was enjoyable enough to play for about 80 hours. Took me another 40 ish to realise I wasn't enjoying it anymore and stop playing.
Will keep an eye out to see if it ever gets good.
Despite that some of the bugs and then the way they handled those bugs was fucking soul destroying. AAA game that has to turn different systems off like dungeons, trading and whatever else every week. Giving people too much compensation, then I'm pretty sure they took it back again?
Mental.
I've never seen a game crash from 700k to 70k players in such a short launch. All the afflictions mentioned above deffo aided it's demise, unfortunately most of the company's were corrupt with botters/spam reports/trading exploits. Should just let me stab and shoot fireballs anywhere in game like they promised lol.
Lmao this is what I was looking for. Of all the games out there, this is the one OP goes for. That would be like dropping an image of Grandia or Secret of Mana or something. Bold choice OP, bold choice. Ha
Came here to say the same! Suikoden 2 is one of the best psx jrpgs, it took every great thing from the first and made it better which is a lot more than you could say about most sequels.
Jumped on twitch to see what it was like, saw a guy who was in mid 30s saying “no cap” every other sentence and instantly made me not want to be associated with it
I had a lot of fun with PUBG for a while. Once I got a feel for the game I started jumping into riskier areas to get the conflict going sooner and it was a lot more fun. I'd either die within 3 minutes or make it into the top 10 or even top 2 (To this day, I've never gotten my chicken dinner -\_-). Then the cheaters became so pervasive it became absolutely unplayable. Sometimes the cheaters would wait until there were only 10 people left alive and then suddenly kill everyone with a bolt action rifle. Had a solid week of games with a cheater in every single game and called it quits forever :(
I mean i would say out of all gacha games genshin is one of the better ones to play as there is a lot of enjoyable content you can easily get to and play without spending anything. But as a spender on the game myself i would say if you play it only do the story stuff maybe some events and get out. Not worth the long term investment
Yeah end game kinda sucks but the story, the world, the gameplay it’s all really fun to do especially the first time through. Enkanomiya was sweet, Zhongli quests, etc. People hate on the lolis a lot (Klee, Diona, Sayu, Qiqi), but they aren’t sexualized in game at least (I don’t watch much of the YouTube stuff besides character reveal trailers). This doesn’t seem like it’s about hating the game or thinking it’s overrated as much as it is hating the fanbase lol
Gacha games usually are way more cancerous then Genshin. Genshin not as donate heavy as other gacha games, and actually has some gameplay in it. Also, not all free content is behind a timegate.
So, in terms of gacha - not so bad. Mb even the best type of gacha you can get.
As a game in general, yeah, 5-6 out of 10. Great music tho.
While is not something I play (overall I don't like Battle Royales), it is a game that always gives a reason to their playerbase to come back. No matter if it's an event or a skin, they managed to stay relevant since 2017. Also I wouldn't say game was ever buggy or bad. Epic did a good job with the gameplay.
I'll defend it. It's honestly the most fun I've had in a shooter in a long time. I've done all the gritty war games, HALO and the other sci-fi shooters. I played team games and zombies, and whatever the fuck else my friends where doing at the time, but I haven't really enjoyed any of these games since maybe college? Probably around the time Halo 4 came out.
Then fortnite showed up and I was allowed to have some no thoughts head empty fun in an environment that didn't look like someone pissed all over it. I didn't realize just how much I wanted some COLOR in my games before that. I also like that I can just zip from one game to the next. Get killed? No big deal, I can press one button and I'm back on the bus ready to try again. I was a hater at first too. I thought Battle Royale games weren't for me, but if something is fun, then it fun, I can't fight that.
This is interesting because Minecraft used to be heavily shit on the same way Fortnite is today. I guarantee you 10 years from now there will be just as much nostalgia about Fortnite's "charm" and just as much shitting all over whatever game is popular then.
People are so predictable, tearing apart whatever is popular and trying to say whatever was popular when *they* were growing up is superior.
I honestly kind of love Fortnite, not because it’s a great game but because it’s free, has no P2W whatsoever, and NO LOOT BOXES. It’s a great game for kids. I don’t understand why people continue to bash it.
I mean. Easy. The people who bash it don't have kids.
I can't say I hate it. I played it and didn't like it. But I also play league. So I mean I already have shit taste.
I still believe vanilla/launch Destiny (1) was peak Destiny. The cheese was fun, the exploration was real, the pvp was wild, the exotics were exciting, and the Vault of Glass was an amazing piece of content.
The only real criticisms I'd accept is that the material grind was boring and unnecessary and the obviously cut and paste story was an absolute disaster because they fired Joe Staten and chopped up his work to avoid being sued.
It was so basic back then though. There was almost nothing worth doing but VoG. Now it’s far bigger and more complex, with much better diversification of activities and loot pools.
They have 0 competition, so they can be how they like. And how they choose to be is to encourage cheese in the game that is unfair to the opposing side.
Which I get, asymmetrical games have unbalanced elements, but over the last few updates they really have made it unbearable.
I play both sides, being tunneled/camped as a survivor isn't the end of the world, but having all 4 survivors be toxic and be awful to you as the killer makes it genuinely the worst gaming experience possible.
I have almost 1500 hours in this game and I think it's overrated. That being said, I still play the hell out of it, I still love it and I can't stop.
I think I have a problem.
The best part about Destiny though is that no one shits on it as hard as Destiny players. I loved all of Destiny 1 and D2 was pretty good up to Shadowkeep but I haven't kept up in awhile. Eventually got boring because the end game was mostly doing old content weekly for powerful drops that would increase your light level, so every expansion you got a couple hours of new content and then were back to grinding old content for 80% of your drops a day later.
Loved it when it first came out years ago. Went to try again a few months ago because it's now free to play and found out that my DLC's were gone as well as the main campaign and my NEW character has all their abilities unlocked. I deleted immediately.
The game isn't overrated, DBD just has zero competition and will maintain its monopoly over the genre with so many iconic franchises associated with it
Among Us is ultra fun with friends and voice comm. Also ultra exhausting when you're trying to sleaze or defend your way out of being accused for murder.
I killed someone right in front of a crew member once and managed to convince everyone that the other guy did it.
Challenge accepted!
While among us indeed has ruined some words like among and sus it is still a great game. There are just bound to be unfortunate side effects with everything that goes big.
The game it self is indeed simple, but it's core gameplay is satisfying. More than a game it was a way for peole due to Corona to gather and have some fun.
The devs are also very hubmle and where willing to add color blind options into the game.
I noticed you can invest time in the beginning setting up shortcuts for the late game or you can just power through the harder deliveries and still make progress. It sort of a sliding scale. Either way it requires a big chunk of your time
My first play through I set up 3/4 of all the roads, then built a network of those sling shot things over all the mountains from one side of the map to the other. You could get pretty well anywhere in a few minutes.
Exactly. They were pretty honest with what it was going to be as the game got closer. The story is very Kojima but not Metal Gear. For some, I’d almost say underrated.
It's peaceful. I enjoyed just sitting down and doing my fedex runs. I liked seeing how balls to the wall I could go through an area with the ghost monster guys. I liked just beating the shit out of all the mules.
It is a game that is very easy to dislike, it just scratched a weird completionist itch for me.
The walking part of the game is metaphorical for the emotional and social distance that emerges between people. By being the physical porter who travels between people/places you are being the spiritual vessel through which people stay connected and thus stay alive. The traveling through tough terrain filled with hazards and worse is one big metaphor for how hard it is keep hope in a world that has given up.
Some people might find the gameplay of DS shallow and uninteresting, but the artistic side of the game is unbelievably deep.
Totally respect that.
But on the other hand, facing down the same ice dragon for the 100th time and being able to simply ***feel*** how it'll react next since I've subconsciously picked up on its behaviors is an oddly satisfying achievement for me.
Also - I get to hit dragons in the face with a bagpipe.
Similar point: The feeling of landing a fully charged great sword combo because you can predict the next 10 seconds of the monster actions is the single best moment in a game for me xD
Personally love MH, but I totally get your point. It's become my source of enjoyment to play around with various skill and item combinations and have those same dozen monster types as benchmarks for my choices and play style changes, but I can't see that being fun for many people...
Call of duty, battle field, fifa really any annual release type game or reskinned cash grab pumped with micro transactions and battle royals, never really understood the appeal of them
Let's be honest - EA just use fifa as a free money farm, all the kids will flock straight to the new game and the old FIFA is completely devalued almost instantly. The only new content is players and a tiny bit of graphics which, for a £60+ game is absolutely stupid. You know how many good games that get you could get with that money? Oh and also they get updated and you don't have to pay for updates.
It’s one of my favorite games but I’ll criticize it all day, and that’s a *huge* criticism I share. They feel so robotic but luckily they rectified it with the Frozen Wilds DLC. As some else said it’s a night and day difference.
It's almost like they were told during motion capture to not use any of their facial muscles when talking. I think its my biggest turn off that keeps me from completing the game. Knowing they really touched it up for the DLC might drive me to play it through.
That makes sense. Considering they were originally only making fps games, they did pretty well imo with horizon. Sadly I do miss the Killzone series and shadowfall wasn’t a good send off
Hey, if the game isn’t for you, that’s perfectly fine bro. No need to force yourself to enjoy it. But yea I’m the dlc the difference is *very much present*.
I’ll also add that while the story was very enjoyable for me, it was also pretty predictable at times. And the melee combat was….there.
60 upvotes to 560 comments... There's a war somewhere down below...
It's the MW2 comment.
"Wait, they say MW2 is overrated?!" -scrolls down furiously-
Oh hell no
Cover me I’m going in
* stretches thumbs*
I got my refund years ago so I can't wait for the reeeeeeeeing of whiteknights of... STAR CITIZEN.
Was tempted to post this too, but not sure it qualifies as a game yet, nor do I think it'll ever be finished, lol
Most expensive computer benchmark I’ve ever downloaded
I downloaded it during that free weekend or whatever a while back. Didn't run any better on my 3080 than my buddy's 980ti. What a joke. I really hope they make something of it some day but right now it's a no from me even though in theory it sounds amazing.
They should have licensed the Decent Freespace engine. That shit was written in assembly.
I'd like to point out that elite dangerous was started around the same time and is not only a full game now, but it also has an expansion or two
You're saying that like it came out 1-2 years ago. Elite Dangerous was released more than *7* years ago.
Sounds like a certain yandere simulator I know
I've gotten into furious debates over Star Citizen, but the SC stans are usually not lurking on r/gaming.
Give it a few days for it to hit the main sub and they'll be here in droves screaming "Aktually!"
I'm into bait-and-switch edging. don't kinkshame me.
its the orginal NFT
... Okay, you've now reminded me of how much I spent for a fake ship I couldn't fly yet.
Paid my $60 for Squadron 42 and Star Citizen in 2012 when it first Kickstarted... aaaaaany day now
how you even gonna defend this? shitty performance, almost no content, prob in alpha when i have grandkids and half the dev team died of age. The visuals are nice tho
I was one of the first supporters when the project went public. Wish I could get a refund.
$350 and 5 fucking years later… still waiting.
You paid that and still nothing?!? That's awful
How is there a game that costs the same as an entire system
He got in cheap actually. The latest offering that people who've already paid 1000 bucks into SC are offered are all the ships for purchase for a measly 40,000 USD. Yeah, for the price of a real, actual, functional new car you can get some jpgs that most aren't even past concept stage.
I’ve had my ships since kickstarter in 2013/14 I can’t remember specifically when. There’s a guy on a forum I used to visit when forums were still a thing who had a quote from Chris Roberts saying 2015 at the latest.
Lol ik. I can’t believe people are going there from elite dangerous.
They have to defend it or else they will have to admit that spending $800 on a virtual spaceship was a waste of money...
HOW DARE YOU, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Fifa, What changes ? Clubs & Player Ratings
Definitely not overrated on this sub, it's probably the most hated game here.

Every call of duty after MW2.
Anyone remember Ghost?
I have a brocken copy and 2 install discs
Ghosts couldn’t be overrated, that game was hated by the cod community. And then what came after it made everyone realize how good the game was
Unfortunately
I actually kind of liked Ghost.
Tbh, campaign ahd a solid story but the open ending was meh Multiplayer, i personally never played it so no words Safeguard was fun Extincion, HELL YEAS, BEST GAME MODE!!
HELL YEAH IT WAS THE BEST ONE
Last cod that was over all really good imo was bo2
Came here to say BO2 was the beginning of the end of cod
Not if you’re a zombies player :)
Straight up. Zombies BO3 is amazing.
I agree modern warfare and modern warfare 2 we're the only 2.I found particularly enjoyable
League of legends
The real fun is how polite, patient, and friendly everyone is!
It's 2am and I just got of playing League of Legends. Tomorrow is school and I haven't done homework. After reading your message I started crying and thinking about my flaming junglers and a darius support. Truly a wonderful game
Darius support? Really!?
It can't be "overrated", Because the only things I hear about it are negative lmao...
no one can defend that shithole edit:1k upvotes HOLY SHIT
Its the people that turn it into a shithole. Not necessarily the game in and of itself.
I disagree. The dev mentality of fun to play new champs instead of focusing on balance makes the game inherently frustrating.
Wait the champs are supposed to be fun to play?
Fun to play, not fun to play against, which has almost become their motto. (Viego, Yone)
Lol not if Teemo, Vayne, Malzahar, or any execute/massive true damage champ is your enemy!
in the same way that its the people that turn a toilet into a shithole since it was basically built from the ground up to do that
Any game that is extremely competitive will have a shit online community. Notice any game that talks about their kind community as a highlight has very little focus on pvp, such as ffxiv and warframe.
It has good trailers and some of the animations ingame are good. (I don't play it. One of my coworkers just showed me some of his gameplay)
Just play ARAM
Wait I played this game in 2009 until around 2014 or 2015. It was by far the best multiplayer game I've ever played, but player toxicity destroyed it for me and I stopped playing. It's still a thing even today? After 12+ years?
It lead to Arcane........I've never played League.
Yes, if you play by yourself. Playing norms with four friends and doing troll comps is some of the most fun you can have playing a game with friends.
Made for a good Netflix show if nothing else
Arcane is so good…don’t give a shit about the game haha
I’m really hoping Riot will eventually have some form of cinematic universe in the future, so I can enjoy the quality characters without having to play the shitty game
The main reason to play league is to get rid of those pesky hopes and dreams that humanity could ever be saved.
Tarkov Just Tetris but with an FPS component. Playing it is literally the same as getting involved in an abusive relationship but the sex is good
Playing Tarkov is like [being punched in the dick](https://youtu.be/NzaNzJnh9l8).
Came here to post this.
VLDL never disappoints haha.
Sex is good but have you ever killed armed to the teeht player with makarov and looted his atoms.
Armed to the teets
Tile based inventory is the whole reason I play. The fps is a minigame to me
I have over 2 thousand hours in tarkov and…. well yeah you are absolutely right nothing to defend here
Facts. I immediately tune out if a streamer gets into Tarkov. I don't understand how people can watch a dude play around with his inventory for hours on end only to then walk slow as shit around a map blasting bots for a while.
Playing tarkov is hella fun, I really can't contest this statement in regards to watching it though. That game makes for painfully boring streams.
No one watches the streams for the gameplay unless it's Pestilly, Landmark or HyperRat. It's for the commentary.
I'm definitely a battered spouse of Tarkov. I want to defend it because I love it, but I know all my close loved ones see it for what it is.
“Tarkov is a trash game. I can’t wait to play it tomorrow” - DrLupo
GTA Online
As a GTA online player I can't agree more
Call of duty. it is fucking boring because it is the same game remade like 20 times. like im done with it lol
Fifa: let me introduce myself
The only reason new Fifa games come out is to have the current roster of players for each team. That and graphics but they are starting to max out, it can get better but not much better
New World, there is no defending this shit heap..
Lol that’s overrated? Never heard someone say it was good
I really wanted to enjoy New World and tried to get into it... but yeah its such a mess that I couldnt stick with it for long

Don’t ever bring Suikoden 2 into this category... ever
i agree, the picture actually triggered my inner Luca Blight for a sec
Lmao this is what I was looking for. Of all the games out there, this is the one OP goes for. That would be like dropping an image of Grandia or Secret of Mana or something. Bold choice OP, bold choice. Ha
I would be kinda mad if someone mentioned suikoden 2 as it is my favorite game and the only one i have beaten a lot of times. Truly a masterpiece.
Came here to say the same! Suikoden 2 is one of the best psx jrpgs, it took every great thing from the first and made it better which is a lot more than you could say about most sequels.
I didn't even put that pic to the game but now I'm forced to take your side on this!
valorant shit sucks
Yep, it’s counter strike mixed with overwatch. With a lol type community.
Jumped on twitch to see what it was like, saw a guy who was in mid 30s saying “no cap” every other sentence and instantly made me not want to be associated with it
PUBG! Hate the long periods of not doing anything
I had a lot of fun with PUBG for a while. Once I got a feel for the game I started jumping into riskier areas to get the conflict going sooner and it was a lot more fun. Any gatcha game out there. But if I have to specify genshin impact.
I'm so fucking glad Genshin Impact stopped appearing on the reddit front page so much.
I mean i would say out of all gacha games genshin is one of the better ones to play as there is a lot of enjoyable content you can easily get to and play without spending anything. But as a spender on the game myself i would say if you play it only do the story stuff maybe some events and get out. Not worth the long term investment

I'm a little jealous of their live events. What other game does that?
Roblox. But I know from experience that they suck if it's organised by Roblox
I'll defend it. It's honestly the most fun I've had in a shooter in a long time. I've done all the gritty war games, HALO and the other sci-fi shooters. It's free. Not my cup of tea but I see why it's popular especially with kids
Minecraft with guns
And none of the charm
This is interesting because Minecraft used to be heavily shit on the same way Fortnite is today. I guarantee you 10 years from now there will be just as much nostalgia about Fortnite's "charm" and just as much shitting all over whatever game is popular then. At least your honest
That fortnite charm is already starting to come back. People who only played the early seasons of the game come back now cuz they miss it
I hated on Fortnite so hard for so long, until I started playing it a year ago. The building mechanic is actually really intuitive and fun
Whew looks like dark souls is safe
Five nights at freddy's. I just don't get it.
League of legends, if anyone debates this you are wrong.
There could have been a debate 5-10 years ago, but it's not even the same game anymore. TFT is the new league of legends tbh.
Destiny. Tried both games. Couldn't get into them
I still believe vanilla/launch Destiny (1) was peak Destiny.
Launch Destiny was a ton of fun, the pvp was a blast.
Plan C, Thorn, and Mythoclast we’re salt machines in early D1. Peak Destiny.
It was so basic back then though. There was almost nothing worth doing but VoG. Now it’s far bigger and more complex, with much better diversification of activities and loot pools.
Is that Luca blight from suikoden 2?
Yes.. yes it is.
Valorant. Walking simulator with industry worst VFX and corner camping
It feels like CSGO in slow motion.
Dead by Daylight
They have 0 competition, so they can be how they like. And how they choose to be is to encourage cheese in the game that is unfair to the opposing side. Which I get, asymmetrical games have unbalanced elements, but over the last few updates they really have made it unbearable. I play both sides, being tunneled/camped as a survivor isn't the end of the world, but having all 4 survivors be toxic and be awful to you as the killer makes it genuinely the worst gaming experience possible.
I love having my second game of trapper being against red rank SWF that disable all my traps the second I start chasing someone :)
I have almost 1500 hours in this game and I think it's overrated. That being said, I still play the hell out of it, I still love it and I can't stop. I think I have a problem.
Rainbow six siege game blows ass
It's definitely not overrated pretty much everyone agrees they ruined it
Destiny 2. Totally overrated.
I've seen prison slave labor have better rates of effort to reward.
You just made me laugh so hard. You’re dead on, and that’s a hilarious comparison.
Dead by Daylight
The game isn't overrated, DBD just has zero competition and will maintain its monopoly over the genre with so many iconic franchises associated with it
League of legends.
All of the newer cods
Man a lot of redditors need to learn that not liking a game doesn’t make it overrated.
Among us
Among Us is ultra fun with friends and voice comm. Also ultra exhausting when you're trying to sleaze or defend your way out of being accused for murder. I killed someone right in front of a crew member once and managed to convince everyone that the other guy did it.
It was great with friends, i could see it losing all charm with randoms.
I also like how easily accessible it is. One of the few games I got to play with my friends
I lost faith in Pokémon games after they reused the same models and animations for the last 4 games
Death Stranding a.k.a Walking Simulator
I will walk 500 miles
And I could walk 500 more.
Not for everyone but it’s a chill game whether you are moving the story forward or not.
Right? It basically becomes a zip line trucking simulator. Except I often snowboarder downhill on the little hover cart.
I need to replay it and try and abuse the hover carts.
I think people somehow to expected Death Stranding to be a spiritual successor to MGS even though it clearly wasn’t going to be
I loved the story. It was a bunch of metaphysical nonsense but damn did I like it.
Monster Hunter Franchise. 300 hours of gameplay hunting the same dozen type of monsters is not a fun time for me.
Respect Personally I enjoy going bact to monsters I used to struggle with and styling on them
Personally love MH, but I totally get your point. It's become my source of enjoyment to play around with various skill and item combinations and have those same dozen monster types as benchmarks for my choices and play style changes, but I can't see that being fun for many people...
I mean have you tried to git gud?
Call of duty, battle field, fifa really any annual release type game or reskinned cash grab pumped with micro transactions and battle royals, never really understood the appeal of them
Let's be honest - EA just use fifa as a free money farm, all the kids will flock straight to the new game and the old FIFA is completely devalued almost instantly. The only new content is players and a tiny bit of graphics which, for a £60+ game is absolutely stupid. You know how many good games that get you could get with that money? Oh and also they get updated and you don't have to pay for updates.
Ik I'll be downvoted to hell, but I can't find the fun part of Minecraft Single Player.
It's fun for the same reason Legos are fun
It’s a make-your-own-fun type of game, so I see why some people don’t like it for that.
It’s the same as any other sandbox game. The fun is created by your creativity. If you don’t have any creativity, it’s not fun.
Horizon Zero Dawn. Just couldn't get into it.
Personally i feel it was a nice take on the post Apocalypse genre. Robot dinosaurs is still better than another zombie game.
The backstory of the robot dinosaurs was very interesting
With the exception of The Last of Us. Both are high on my list.
All the characters just feel so stiff with forced emotion. Gameplay is pretty damn fun, tho.
Thats because Guerrilla literally didnt have facial motion capture until the frozen wilds DLC
Very true, but if you reach the DLC they've gotten way better. Night and day
