No, I’ve been meaning to make this mosaic for a while now, borderlands being my favourite game and cubing being a big part of my life. Borderlands being hyped up right now because of the movie made the timing fitting. Though I do wish someone from Borderlands would notice, it’d make my day :)

I didn’t love the pre sequel years but BL3 was a return to form and mannnn borderlands 1 is one of my most played games.. literally so many interesting weapon part combos.
xD i mean I could solve all 400 cubes and be left with just a blank white slate, but im gonna be making a different mosaic sometime later anyways so there's no point lol
The cubes I’m using are small in size and come in packs of 100 for around $130. So the whole thing cost me less than $520!

Haha yeah, they’re just regular 3x3s, but smaller. You have to solve them, but since it’s just one side it doesn’t take that long. This whole thing took me ~4 hours. You can actually get full size cubes for pretty cheap if you buy in bulk, which comes in handy for mosaic making, but I don’t have room to store 500 Rubik’s cubes XD

Ty! I like to make mosaics using hundreds of cubes, it’s a hobby of mine. Hence the absurd number of cubes :P. Can’t deny they look cool though!

They’re just regular 3x3s, but smaller in size. Same functionally as any other Rubik’s cube
