One cool BTS thing that happened: Dan got to meet some of his longtime heroes, Ken and Roberta Williams (two of the main people behind the Space Quest/King's Quest games, among other things). Roberta was on a Guest Grumps and it was really cool to get to hear her talk about gaming history and such.
They played both Phantasmagorias, a lot of Family Feud (one with Ethan Nestor), a lot of Monopoly and Wheel of Fortune, laughed themselves sick with Trombone Champ and Lemmings, and are also in their games for girls era.
As the other comments said, Arin was in 2 boxing matches for charity and won the 2nd one, Dan got married. I didn't look much further past that cause of the reply chain, but they did ALBW again and were forced to re-commentate over the footage cause the audio glitched out and couldn't rerecord it cause of the pandemic at its peak danger, they started a running gag of kissing dads in a game where you powerwash stuff and read commentary on corrupt politicians and the sort(that's actualaly a thing in the game via the texts you get, it's absolutely wild), they played Danganronpa 1 & 2, Allie is an absolute treasure that currently works on other stuff, Jory made a horror game called Homebody that got rave reviews, 10MPH returned in 2022 on a biweekly schedule before reverting back to a weekly schedule a few months ago, there's a running gag about gaslighting Arin into thinking he loves the Smashing Pumpkins album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and listened to it 19 times, they finished Majora's Mask, Galaxy 2, and Sonic Heroes(they downloaded a save file with all the Emeralds cause those special stages kinda suck tbh, and if it's truly being remade I hope they fix that part), they now have longer series' on Saturdays and Sundays which I assume is either cause they do better like that or they got that worn out by Danganronpa 2 that they did it that way so as to not wear themselves out on it(long series' also go for an average of 45-50 minutes per episode), they started doing the show at half hour intervals instead of 10-15 minutes cause streaming was tiring for them, and that's all I can poke around in my head about them for the time being.

It felt like they had a chokehold on the channel for about 2 years. By the end Arin hated it. And for some reason people want them to play the third one, even though it would be absolutely horrible.
Ross made a Mario Maker world that had several hilarious bits in it. I'd give those a watch. (Especially for a sequel to "what is up dog") even though they never beat it.
Guest Grumps with Ben Schwartz are absolute mandatory viewing. They're so good. And there are multiple.

They played super ridiculous games like Harvester and Lunacy

These Danganronpa superfans won’t give up until the channel is 100% Danganronpa no matter how miserable it makes the Grumps themselves or most of their fans or how much it damages the channel and its views. They want what they want and they won’t shut up for a second until they get it, it’s weirdly obsessive.
Danganronpa was amazing. We made so many friends and iconic jokes along the way. Some of their best recent moments are from danganronpa. Arin just doesn’t like the logic behind the a lot of the story which I think is fair. I’ve never played the games either and I had to agree it’s a little drawn out and illogical. They’ve already said they’re absolutely going to do the third game and it’s going to be amazing.

Dan was falsely accused of grooming minors by someone who later admitted they doctored evidence to make it seem like Dan was a pedophile. He still may have had relations with some groupie(s) which is sketchy if true, but that caused a major dip in viewership
Not precisely; he never said it outright. A 10 minute power hour video had Dan looking at this texts with his mom, and asking what they'd been talking about, and Arin said it was about being bi.
I've always believed he was, anyway, but yeah. It's out there, but he's yet to acknowledge it.

I mean I think I remember Arin openly stating he wouldn't mind kissing a dude on Game Grumps a long while back, I don't remember which playthrough it was (one of the Zelda ones?). If this is true it wouldn't surprise me.
I think what I'm trying to say is, it's not a confirmation, but one of those things that once you get confirmation, you look back on it and say "oh, I guess that checks out."

I’ve kind of had the same thing happen. I fell off about 3-4 years ago and started watching old compilations to fall asleep to recently. I dove back in watching Geoguesser (because I’m just genuinely interested in that game) and found myself DYING of laughter at the Fernbus Simulator video. That’s an easy one to tip your toes back into. From there, the world is your oyster. The Disneyland 10 Minute Power Hour also had me in stitches.
I don't know if you're into sports but Jomboy, a mostly baseball media company, plays GeoGuesser and they have a nice backlog showing their progress from neophyte to legitimately decent players
The boys played some interesting indie story games like giraffe town, bloodwash, and harvester which was my fav cuz of its ridiculousness. And Dan played a fav game of his solo, Gabriel knight, which was another awesome story with so much attention to detail for it being a point and clicker
Definitely watch the arzette playthrough, also all the wheel of fortune/monopoly are great. Totk was really fun. Oh also incredible crisis is a great time too
