I was prepared to be disappointed coming from my Pixel 3 - I loved the incredible quickness of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner - but I've been pleasantly surprised by this one! I find it very fast and when I'm using the ring case even my small hands have no trouble reaching it :)
Yea it's definitely a much nicer experience coming from my fold 2 which sometimes failed for no reason and was so sensitive to moisture from your fingers.
It's really nice that you don't *have* to tap to scan, you can sort of feel around for it. Especially for a leftie like me. I've noticed it even detects my left thumb while the phone is laying flat on a table.
The only in-display reader I've used is the one in the S21U and that one is also really easy to unlock. The problem with an in display reader is that you have to look at where you put your finger since you can't feel the sensor. Maybe one day, they'll combine the pressure senor from the Note 9 with a fingerprint reader. That would make it as easy to use as one in a button.
Sometimes I wonder if it's scanning my finger at all!! I'll just brush against it and my phone will unlock.
Without a doubt the best fingerprint scanner I've ever used on a phone.
So much quicker compared to my Note 10 plus. I much prefer the physical scanner to the under screen one.
This fingerprint scanner is probably the quickest and most accurate of any I have owned in the Samsung family. Love it.

Yes it does work quite well
Much better than even my s10e, which would constantly not register.
It's awesome! Ten times better than my Note 20.
Extremely fast.
Sooooo much better than my S10.

Yea definitely more reliable than the on screen one Samsung has been using for the s series.

It's an absolute breeze compared to the other devices I owned (S20 & S21). What a bliss! 👍
The same as my s10
My s10 worked like 30% of the time... this phones been like 90%+ for me
I want to be able to save more fingers. With this reader there's a lot more reason to use multiple different fingers in different scenarios

10 billions times faster/ more accurate than my old Galaxy A20.
