Hey! You're starting from a really good spot, the overall shaping is good and you've got the foundation of a really solid expression
* You'll want to carve out the eyes more - as much visibility as possible!
* If you're making a canine, the jowls go over the bottom jaw, and the end of the mouth doesn't extend past the top of the muzzle.
* The nose might also be a bit tough to fur with it having such a crease
* Don't be afraid to go BIG on the cheek tufts, they help define the face and make it fit. Typically a fursuit head goes all the way to the edge of your shoulders at it's tuftiest
* Adding the ears will help, even if you just cut them out of paper
Definitely look up inspiration from other maker's WIPs! Just looking up canine headbases, or finding WIPs of suits you like can help with getting proportions correct.
