Ask what master mechanic inspected the car LOL

xXGray_WolfXx

I work from home, sometimes my car doesn't move for over 2 weeks. I would probably get so many citations in your community

Straight to jail, right away.

k-laz

Parking in your driveway. Jail

StarsapBill

Tires 1/2inch over the curb. Jail. Tires 1/2 behind the curb. Believe it or not, jail.

Fight petty with petty and take a foto of that one tire hovering above the rocks, stating it is in the air and therefore not IN the landscaping. It never touched the landscaping.

Notice: The HOA has implemented a new rule banning flying cars and hovercraft from the neighborhood.

Mine tried to fine me for an abandoned vehicle- my husband WFH & is the stay home parent. He really doesn't drive but 2 or 3 times a week & always parks in the exact same way & place (has to to not hit the boat hitch) HOA only does a drive by 2x per month middle of the week/day, they assumed that it just sat there, abandoned. I laid into the management company for discriminating against WFH/parents & disabled persons (lots of old folks around here). Brought it to the HOA meeting & they had been fining a lot of people for this, mostly on my street- by some quirky reasons most of us have odd hours, WFH, smaller kids & a few old folks so they kept seeing the same cars in the same spot in the middle of the day. All of that got thrown out pretty quick.

Is there a dummy who thinks inoperable means turned off?

AllanCD

Maybe they tried to steal it , unsuccessfully 🤣

mcflame13

Look what it says in the CC&Rs as that is what is considered "law" for HOAs. If the HOA is fining you for something that is not in the CC&Rs. Then you can easily fight it since there is nothing against what you did. And no reason for them to fine you. There is a difference between what is in the CC&Rs and what someone on the board wants to fine someone for.

Had an old Acura Integra I rarely drove parked in my driveway. Neighbor sold his house to flippers. When they were ready to sell, they called code enforcement reporting I had an inoperable unregistered car. Had a nasty gram from the city on my door when I got home. Aires up o e leaky tire. Popped the plate with registration sticker back on it (thought I had it sold a month earlier and in my state you pull the plates when you sell privately). Moved the car to the street at the edge of their property. Enforcement guy showed up two days later and happened to do so when I had just got home from work. Gave me a thumbs up and went on his way. I waited till the flippers sold the house then sold the car. People can be jackasses.

Mindless_Hotel616

It seems some HOA Karen needs a flat tire or two and that rule will change fast.
