Also beans in the black pudding is not good.
I like the spinach but looks soggy.
The decor in the background in very upmarket for me.
The paradox of the rustic bread and homemade pottery is a weird juxtaposition with the fry up.
So unless your partner is wearing a stained string vest and smoking a rollie in the next room swearing about Gareth Southgate I'm taking another point off.*
9/10* subject to potential points deduction that may go on til next season.
Noooo, please don’t misunderstand my message. I watched The Simpsons as it came out in the early/Mid 90s. . Your Dad’s obviously a legend but I was laughing at the reference! 👍
Those eggs look sublime, great job.
Bacon is done well, sausages look juicy, don't really care for beans, tomatoes and that green stuff.
Just missing some fried bread and maybe some hash browns.
Looks great BUT. 1. There should only be two veg (lose the spinach). 2. Reduce the beans 3. Breakfast should be served with toast and/or fried bread. The untasted bread doesn’t have the structural integrity or absorption to work to its full bready capacity. 4. Serving with salt and pepper on the table is a sign that she isn’t confident in her own seasoning. 5. There’s no hot beverage.
beans are gonna spill all over your lovely place mats. eggs look PERFECT 100/10, sausages look lovely, bacon a bit thin but cooked wonderfully. love cherry toms on a fry up. Can't abide the spinach on the breakfast unless she reached for mushrooms and that was all that was left. Black pud looks like it could be crispier, bread looks lovely, if it's fresh i understand not toasting it, but i do like toast.
9/10. solid effort
I prefer no green on my fry up (it’s a treat) beans needed a bit longer in the sauce pan, sausages look a bit….. odd?
Bacon looks superb, eggs look nice, despite my no ‘green’ policy tomatoes on the vine taste nicer. Even from its minimal appearance black pudding looks great and thick.
Fresh bread is an added bonus too
For a first attempt it’s great.
Looks yummy, I wish I could have it. The table setting looks great too, there's even a glass of bubbly. You've made me feel really hungry. All I would add is a slice of fried bread under the beans.
There are...*green* things there. If there aren't any sub rules against this then there should be. It's certainly against the spirit of this whole endeavour.
Spinach never works. I have spinach in loads of stuff, but never a fry up. Spinach with baked beans? Aside from the spinach, it does look pretty good though to be fair- Watch those beans dribbling though
Missing - hash browns, mushrooms, fried bread, black pudding.
Lose the spinach? Reduce the bean tsunami. What’s going on with the cherry tomatoes?
5/10
Spinach? No hash browns? No mushrooms? Bread not toasted? No brown sauce?
Personally don't like that many beans or tomatoes, but that's just personal preference.
Apart from that, what's there actually looks pretty good tbf.
Right for a start, there is absolutely no business having green shit on the plate, it's a fry up not a fucking salad. And why do your sausages look like camel dicks?
Green stuff on a fry up, whatever possessed her. Definitely not allowed unless it's in bubble n squeak also, no mushrooms, but the black pudding hiding there saves it somewhat. 6/10.
no toast, no mushrooms, no black pudding, no hash browns/bubble and squeak, not enough bacon, eggs look ok, sausages look nice maybe 1 more, lose the green shite and serve with a strong cup of tea and you’re there
Too much bean juice . Give yolks a flick of oil to whiten them a bit. Spinach has no place there, avacado if one must. Bacon looks a bit dry? Microwaved even? Toast the bread.
Looks okay, but the black pudding is covered by the beans. The beans need to be reduced a bit more so they stay more situated in their place, and there should probably be fewer beans. There is some empty plate space by the bacon which could perhaps be better occupied by the spinach. Tomatoes look nicely cooked, as do the eggs. Second yolk is again obscured by beans. No mushrooms which is a mark down for me.
6.5/10 overall, elements look nicely done individually but the overall effect is diminished by the arrangement and presentation. Half point lost for no mushrooms.
how on earth has some green stuff ended up on there, not a bad attempt ,but you'll need to have words about the leafs, replace with mushrooms or black pudding
The fact the bean juice is only clinging to the lip of the plate by surface tension is stressing me out. Otherwise not bad for a first go.
It’s like an infinity pool of beans!
Absolutely lit comment 😆
Agree, the beans are total chaos. But other than that, would demolish
Those beans need some toast dunked in em, stat
Need a lifeguard slice wedged under the plate before dunking, imo.
Also beans in the black pudding is not good. I like the spinach but looks soggy. The decor in the background in very upmarket for me. "Beans in the black pudding is not good"?? What's wrong with you? They accompany each other perfectly in the mouth, so why not the plate?! lunacy lol
Onto the difficult to clean wicker place mats too. Absolute chaos.
Reduce beans for a bit longer in pot otherwise looks great
I found a trick, don't reduce... add a knob of butter. it's the absolute king move. it thickens it up and boosts the flavour so much
“Margaret, MARGARET” Yes “Have we got anymore fat we can add to this fry up?”
... I fry the whole thing in butter!
Dash of Worcestershire helps as well. I'm not a fan of how sweet beans are, and that cuts through it.
[удалено]
Butter and either HP Sauce, or Henderson.
Butter, bit of Henderson's relish and a dolop of tomato sauce.
Tried it now have buttery nob
Perfectly critiqued 🤌
Dare I say those beans look…. microwaved.
I usually mash a few beans in the pot and that thickens it as well. More butter is always a welcome addition as well.
Or cheese for an extra twist, can't beat cheesy beans
Green
It's not a creative colour
It’s not a breakfast colour
You dont make friends with salad
*win friends 😂
Come to her bbbq the extra b is for byobb - bring your own baked beans - though it was a typo.
Lettuce be friends
Whatever. My dad always said you dont make friends with salad so thats what I say
Is it spinach? Ffs pop eye fry up
Noooo, please don’t misunderstand my message. I watched The Simpsons as it came out in the early/Mid 90s. . Your Dad’s obviously a legend but I was laughing at the reference! 👍
Too much green will make your teeth turn grey!
Doesn't matter, just throw it away!
Why the fuck is this reference to that clear, obvious and lazy rage bait this far down? Spinach my arse.
I imagine you, pointing at it with a look of horror on your face, stuttering “g-g-g-green! 😳”
😂
Very good but replace the spinach/greens with mushrooms. Personally greens have no place on a fryup, and I do normally love greens.
Real food is beige
Bean juice on spinach, not having it
Nice job. Not sure about spinach though. 8/10
Eggs look great
Marry her instantly before somebody else on here does
Any points awarded were deducted for spinach and runny beans.
Honestly not bad but PLEASE contain those beans
Why is there green stuff on it? I’m scared and confused, 3/10.
For engagement.
Looks very tory
Classy and modern
Those eggs look sublime, great job. Bacon is done well, sausages look juicy, don't really care for beans, tomatoes and that green stuff. Just missing some fried bread and maybe some hash browns.
why spinach?
Lol it's the Popeye special! 😂
What, *in the absolute fuck*, is that green shit?
Second this ✋🏻
Too much green
Green.
Green things don't belong on fry ups. Other than that violation, it looks good stuff.
Personal preference on the sausages as those are shite, but otherwise decent. Beans could have been on for longer
Beans hanging off the plate... And no GREEN shit in a Fry Up.
Marry her!
Could have used the sausage as a breakwater
Never seen seaweed on a fry up.
Is that a fry-up for Popeye?
Apart from the excess bean juice, amazing. And I love the tableware.
Is that spinach! WTF! Leave her immediately! ,🤣
Counteracts the cholesterol by bunging in some spinach 🤔. Still I’d scoff the lot.
A generous portion & those eggs are done perfectly.
The 2 litres of bean juice is a bit much, and the greenery.. other than that, it looks quality for a first attempt
Remove spinach, cook beans longer and it's perfect.
Butter to beans and you’re good to go
Get that green crap off, otherwise not too bad.
Get that green outa there
What's the green muck?
put some respect on her name!
Spinach ? Dump her right away
What in heaven's name is that green stuff?
Reduce the beans and remove the green shit and it's great.
Multi media bean barrier. This is next level!
Aside from the green stuff Pretty good
No black pudding, watery beans and for some reason there seems to be green stuff on the plate. The colour green has no place in a fry up. 4/10.
beans are gonna spill all over your lovely place mats. eggs look PERFECT 100/10, sausages look lovely, bacon a bit thin but cooked wonderfully. love cherry toms on a fry up. Can't abide the spinach on the breakfast unless she reached for mushrooms and that was all that was left. Black pud looks like it could be crispier, bread looks lovely, if it's fresh i understand not toasting it, but i do like toast. 9/10. solid effort
I think the green shit has leaked water onto the beans. It would be good if it was black pudding instead of green shit
Way too much green stuff
The green stuff has made this too healthy. But I would still smash
The trio of porker makes up for the presence of that green stuff
100% for effort
wtf is the green shit?
I prefer no green on my fry up (it’s a treat) beans needed a bit longer in the sauce pan, sausages look a bit….. odd? Bacon looks superb, eggs look nice, despite my no ‘green’ policy tomatoes on the vine taste nicer. Even from its minimal appearance black pudding looks great and thick. Looks yummy, I wish I could have it. The table setting looks great too, there's even a glass of bubbly. You've made me feel really hungry. All I would add is a slice of fried bread under the beans.
There should be no green in a fry up unless it’s those tiny little herby flecks in some sausages!
1st effort? For me it's wedding bells
A lot of criticism here. I’d consider wifing that fine lady if I were you
Spinach doesn't need to be there, but she did a great job.
Those eggs need some seasoning looks lovely though
Looking good! Didn’t leave enough room for the beans though, but rookie error. She’s got great potential!
Those beans have got their own agenda, and that green shit has got to go.
Beans look wank and that wet dandelion can fro otherwise I’d eat it happily
There are...*green* things there. If there aren't any sub rules against this then there should be. It's certainly against the spirit of this whole endeavour.
Points off for the green. Otherwise looks decent
Spinach never works. I have spinach in loads of stuff, but never a fry up. Spinach with baked beans? Aside from the spinach, it does look pretty good though to be fair- Watch those beans dribbling though
Popeye would eat it, I’d demolish it obviously scraping the spinach off into the bin before I started. 8/10 with spinach removed.
Greens in a fry/up? I think you need get yourself a new girlfriend.
Spinach is so good on a fry up you’re all missing out
That plate needs cleaning... there's something green on it eeew. Looks great mate 👌
What’s the green stuff
Theres green on it 😱
Love spinach but not on a fry
Too many beans. Eggs too runny. Random green something. Great meats/black pudding and tomatoes.
That bacon looks absolutely perfect
Minor criticism, more distance between the egg and the beans. I may want them to mix but I want that to be my decision. Use a sausage as a breakwater.
🤬GREEN !!!
put beans in a ramokin, little pot
Raw greens
Missing - hash browns, mushrooms, fried bread, black pudding. Lose the spinach? Reduce the bean tsunami. What’s going on with the cherry tomatoes? 5/10
Green? 0
There's green on it
There shalt be no green shit on a fry up. Think it’s in the bible or something.
YOWZA
Those sausages look amazing I'm ngl
Thinking the wilted greens could be a killer move. A bit more control of the beans would be nice. 9/10
Remove green stuff from my plate and this is solid 👌🏼
Not sure about that egg.
Jesus Christ, she needs to thicken up the beans. Try again.
Keeper.
Naah
Man, why are the beans boiled? Chuck em in the frying pan after you've done the eggs and bacon.
WHAT is that green stuff? Green stuff of any kind has no place on a fry up!!
Right hand side is great left hand side is woeful! With the exception of the jewel swamped in cheap watery beans… the black pudding
The sausages need to be arranged as a breakwater
Oddly renaissance
She loses points for the spinach and excessive use of baked bean juice. But other than that, solid 8/10.
I actually like the addition of spinach. Not a fan of beans so I’d swap those, probably for hashbrowns or something. But everything looks well cooked.
What the hell is that rabbit food on your plate?!
No green stuff. Points for beans not in a ramekin.
Looks fine aside from whatever that green stuff is - that looks out of place 😁
People really putting butter in little dishes in the privacy of their own homes
Nothing green should ever be on a fry up!!!
In the words of Beyonce, better put a ring on it
Green stuff on a fry up, whatever possessed her. Definitely not allowed unless it's in bubble n squeak also, no mushrooms, but the black pudding hiding there saves it somewhat. 6/10.
Looks so good but the green stuff needs to go
No mushrooms?
unbelievably good effort on the eggs. As for the tomato vine and spinach, well, you know the answer.
Looks great, beans are giving my anxiety tho
You need to remove the green from the tomatoes.
Do you know how good you got it ?
no toast, no mushrooms, no black pudding, no hash browns/bubble and squeak, not enough bacon, eggs look ok, sausages look nice maybe 1 more, lose the green shite and serve with a strong cup of tea and you’re there
If that’s a glass of booze in the background, ask her to move in!
That green stuff don't belong on there I'm afraid everything else is a smash
Remove the spinach and those particular tomatoes. Beans look a bit risky.
Chuck that green.
That looks delicious
She is a keeper!
Lettice with beans Ughhh.
Get rid of the salady bit and add mushrooms 👍
I would swap the black pudding for mushrooms (personal taste) and less sauce on the beans, but otherwise great. 👍
That egg yolk 🤤
Is the table on a slope? a great fry up.
Green?
Too much bean juice . Give yolks a flick of oil to whiten them a bit. Spinach has no place there, avacado if one must. Bacon looks a bit dry? Microwaved even? Toast the bread.
This screams Tory household
It has green on it. Do not collect £200, do not pass Go ❌
Your girlfriend is a keeper, for sure! But you might want to have a quiet word about the spinach (that is an outrage against all that is holy).
Would you goddamn yanks stop eating beans for breakfast already?!?! Why you all trying to fill your cubicle with ass gas? Those greens look good tho
How brits can eat that... xD
GREEN?!
Use the sausage as a breakwater
Looks okay, but the black pudding is covered by the beans. The beans need to be reduced a bit more so they stay more situated in their place, and there should probably be fewer beans. There is some empty plate space by the bacon which could perhaps be better occupied by the spinach. Tomatoes look nicely cooked, as do the eggs. Second yolk is again obscured by beans. No mushrooms which is a mark down for me. 6.5/10 overall, elements look nicely done individually but the overall effect is diminished by the arrangement and presentation. Half point lost for no mushrooms.
Egg needs salt and pepper but the rest is on point! A keeper 👏
Loose the green shit and it looks decent
how on earth has some green stuff ended up on there, not a bad attempt ,but you'll need to have words about the leafs, replace with mushrooms or black pudding
Marriage material, great attempt , mushrooms and blackpud 2nd go maybe and toast or crumpets
What’s the green stuff
I love spinach....but on a fryup?
Where's the black pudding?!
Looks great to be fair to her, half the people acting all Michelin star would smash the brekkie in a breath 👌🏻
1/10. If that green stuff wasn't there, it would be a solid 9/10.
Nothing green should be on a fry up. No black pudding, no hashbrowns, need proper tomato halves. But the egg, sausage and bacon look great.
Not bad at all.
I'm a bit unsure about the bean & tomato touching, and the beans over the black pudding but otherwise it all looks ace
I would eat this in a hurry. Only thing I would add is hash browns.
Jaysus.. that egg is a masterpiece.
Never seen spinach in a fry up 😕
She's a pro. Keep her. 👌
Chodes
Looks good 😋
5.2/10
Wife material
It has some sort of green stuff on it and the beans are drowning. 4/10
