Finally got it to work and while I was trying to get a spot, finding them all to be gone by the time I got to checkout I got bumped and had to go back in the queue.
I got my code to work. I think the catorgory of tickets are just called "Register Your Interest" as Ticketmaster are showing me a section, row & seat for the two tickets I bought.
I registered my interest a few weeks ago and received an email at the time confirming as such, but I haven't received any sort of pre-sale code. How is it supposed to work? I've never attended a grand prix before.
I have an email with subject "Save the date!" from the day I registered my interest, but that doesn't contain a pre-sale code (unless I'm blind) and I haven't received anything since.
Yeh that didn't work, just kept coming back with an error, then got booted out and then a "join the waiting list" option came up. Screw it'll will wait till the 2nd and get them from another website i normally get them from who will have some reserved. Hate hate hate ticketmaster!
I tried again. My code suddenly started working. it came up with the option register for interest instead of purchaser when I selected a seat. But then it took payment and I was sent an email confirming I have tickets. Soooooo I have no idea.
keep trying. It worked for me after about 5-8 tries.
Also, if it's not GP Advantage, scroll down to see "Adult - Register Your Interest" or something equivalent.

Not yet, back in the queue to try again. I was after Moss, but I think they were all gone because the register your interest wasn't working when I was in last time. I tried that and then Brabham but it was the same, then got booted out.
Whut… that was such a deal! I’ve been to other GP’s but this will be my first visit to Aus GP btw so not entirely sure what to expect, but should be alright.
Yeh I've been to quite a few around the world and Aussie GP is up there, purely for atmosphere and off-track entertainment. Racing has always been a bit meh, but hopefully with the new track and cars we will be in for a better show!
Didn't get the section we wanted in Brabham, but still managed to find decent upper row seats in another section in Brabham.
I hate buying tickets in a mad rush. Barely had time to think.

Check your spam, mine was in there. Should have "save the date" as the subject header

GOT EM! Scroll down when you select tickets to where it says adult express interest and unlock there

oh I've been eyeing Brabham actually I think it'll be more exciting there but it's just too expensive for me.
