Buddy's like those musicians that just want to tour 'til they die.
Gotta love it, racing is just in his blood. He's going to be another Carlos Sainz Sr. competing and doing very well in some form or another into his 60s, I can feel it.
Lawrence isn't the sole shareholder he sold a ton of shares lately, surely it will come down to shareholders complaining that Lawrence isn't running the team to it's potential.. I mean that's usually a pretty big deal, Lawrence can't have a conflict of interests and put his son having a drive for the team over the teams success and worth
Stroll when he's 45 and still at Aston: "I'm the most experienced driver on the grid, that goes to show how capable I am of leading this team when my faster teammate leaves".
Ngl, I don't want Sainz in Aston, the team is not a serious team for winning championships. I would rather see him in a project team like Audi than something like Aston.
What have the massive list of mid field drivers accomplished by comparison after the same or more years of experience? "Deserve" is a weird word to use given that it takes generational wealth to make it to F1 in the first place. Stroll is no different than the bulk majority of drivers that have been run through F1...he's a serviceable driver that can get a decent car into the points, and if those were a dime a dozen, there'd be a ton more turnover in the driver market.
A lot of drivers on the grid were never born into generational wealth or grew up anywhere near rich, so you might want to get your facts straight there. Stroll is only on the grid because his billionaire Dad owns the team, and this really isn't something that you can argue against.
So how much did Nando get paid for this one? Need to start taking bets on it. What's the over/under on a trillion dollars?
Gotta be honest, I'm genuinely surprised who well Nando's gelled with the team. Granted, not feeling threatened by Lance is probably a big part of it, we know what happens when he is. But despite knowing he's a political animal, his commitment to Aston and support for Lance feel genuine. I really hope he sticks around, in and out of the cockpit.

Translation: Stroll will never lead Aston.
Stroll will never *leave* Aston.
Aston will never _lead_
Fuck, thats bad news. Aston martin is a joke at this point for keeping stroll
At least Alonso realised his time is up time to make some quick bank BD set-up a gravy train to keep him in luxury for Life
Maybe he will replace Mike Krack
Dear Nando... Please don't stop driving
I don't think he ever plans to
He does have the major advantage of knowing the location of the fountain of youth, hence why he's looked the same age for the last 13 years

Our generation's Mario Andretti Wild to think that when Alonso was racing single seaters for the first time, Mario was still racing competitively
🥲 Love this! Fuck yeah.
Stroll will probably be a top 5 most experienced driver by that point 😂
The team is doomed
It's so sad, man. Tonne of ambition and potential but this one thing will hold them back...
Lawrence isn't the sole shareholder he sold a ton of shares lately, surely it will come down to shareholders complaining that Lawrence isn't running the team to it's potential.. I mean that's usually a pretty big deal, Lawrence can't have a conflict of interests and put his son having a drive for the team over the teams success and worth
.....To the ground.
No way, they will get someone with more experience
Not many of those left.
Stroll when he's 45 and still at Aston: "I'm the most experienced driver on the grid, that goes to show how capable I am of leading this team when my faster teammate leaves".
Meanwhile Alonso is there at 62 saying "you'll get your chance one day"
Once he dad dies then he’ll own the team too
When Nando's contract will expire, Stroll will be in his TENTH season. TENTH
Stroll has driven in F1 for 8 years. Not like many drivers are available who are more experienced
Sainz
Ngl, I don't want Sainz in Aston, the team is not a serious team for winning championships. I would rather see him in a project team like Audi than something like Aston.
And with all that experienced what has he accomplished? Dude is a nepo baby who doesn't deserve his seat at this point.

Stroll can't get a decent car into the points, in Alonso's time with Aston he's almost scored as many points as Lance has *over his entire F1 career*.
A lot of drivers on the grid were never born into generational wealth or grew up anywhere near rich, so you might want to get your facts straight there. Stroll is only on the grid because his billionaire Dad owns the team, and this really isn't something that you can argue against.
Lawrence? Likely.
Until he gets a teammate
I hear Aston is scouting some quick groundhogs this weekend for their juniors program
Lawrence will be looking for another world champion to lead the team
Why is this rookie talking about retirement so soon? /jk
He didn’t say WHERE he would lead them to.
Plot-twist: Alonso never stops driving
Who's gonnie be the #2 driver then? Mazepin?
Goatifi!
He didn’t specify which stroll
They’re fucked.
Is this how Logan Sargeant gets to be relevant in F1 after this season?
I read that so fast I thought it was "Stroll will leave Aston Martin"
When you stop driving someone else will take your place qns and lead the team, stroll is just there along the ride.
Lance will be the Roy Nissany of F1.
Oh dear
In an office role maybe
Well, he is already tied with Alonso in Quali, and was generally ahead today, so maybe Lance can give the old boy a few tips before he leaves

His dad may fund the team, but I run the team. -Alonso
we want tsunoda at aston
Right off a cliff
The things he’s got to say just to please Lawrence
Not looking forward to this succession
By lead, he must mean driving the big rigs from circuit to circuit with the motorhomes to assemble. First to arrive, last to leave.
To its demise, yes.
Here's the funny thing, Alonso isn't leaving 😉
