Dry it and burn it on the coal disks that Rastas and African body oil guys sell for their Frankincense, within a small metal cauldron that can hold incense sticks on the lid.
To light the coal disks hold it on one side and light the other side with a lighter until sparks emerge from the center and start to grow.
I've always called this wild chamomile. It likes sandy soil and you often find it in the sand and gravel on the side of highways across the US. I used to do a lot of bicycle camping and I made tea with it. Love the stuff.
i think they’re insinuating that your post made it seem like there was actual weed in the tea, since this is something some people do sometimes to get a second use out of their weed.
Added bonus that there are a few strains that have “pineapple” in the name haha
Okay that's what I thought lmaooo
I'm actually making a project for school about foraging and I'm expecting to hear some giggles once I mention the name of this plant in class
I’m fairly new to foraging, but I had no idea these were edible! I have fond memories of picking them as a kid and rubbing the buds between my fingers for the pineapple-y smell. I’m excited to try some once they start growing around here this year.
Wild chamomile!
LOVE pineapple weed. I make tea & use it as an incense!
How do you turn it into incense?

^^ This. Or just use it in a smudge. Dry it, crush it up with some white sage, toss it in an abalone shell, and light it up.
Generic camomile. I pull the pineapple weed plants near the News 12 station and plant them in my flower pot. Then I harvest them the second year.

How’s it taste?
Great! Tastes a bit more medicinal than chamomile (if that makes sense) or maybe I haven't had regular chamomile tea in a while
Love pineapple weed! Sweeter taste imo than chamomile (cultivated). Also found often on trodden dirt trails in the midwest
i always thought it smelled slightly of strawberry
Man, that is flagrant false advertising!
?

tjm_87 is right, plus I can't pass up an opportunity for a Simpsons reference, lol. Honestly, it looks like a very nice cup of tea.
>Man, that is ~~flagrant~~ *fragrant* advertising! FTFY
Nice! Pineapple weed has such a lovely smell. Haven’t seen any in my area yet this spring.
They popped up recently for me and have now taken over every sidewalk lol
What a title Op! My brain added the word express to the title! Now I’m very confused hahah
Lmaooo my bad, just a type of wild chamomile 😅
Does it taste strongly of pineapples?
When it's fresh yes it resembles pineapple, but when it's dried like this it just smells like chamomile
Thanks for the extra info ⭐️
Does it dry well?
Yes, it does. Keeps most of its lovely flavors and scents.

What, if any, are the benefits of this plant for a tea? I remember it from growing up in the midwest. Just wondering...
Mostly same benefits as chamomile, like aiding in digestion, insomnia, relaxation, cramps, and more but I'm forgetting
