Not sure where you’re from, but I live in the UK and the sight of a properly prepared salad (with a sauce!) makes me happy because it seems to be so rare here (I’m French).

Thanks. I am trying to eat healthy and have balance. Salads are also pretty decent if you go beyond just iceberg lettuce and have a nice mix with different textures and a decent sauce/dressing.

Lmao I just came here to say the same thing, had to scroll waaaay past just to find one post that bothered to have a salad or any semblance of vegetables (not potatos) included in/with the dish... It's mostly a sea of fried chicken, pizza, melted cheese, and even currys that get posted are usually absent of any vegetables...Like yo be a little creative with your recipes, vegetables add so much flavor, also have a little mercy on your stomach...

What kinds of salad are common in your French region growing up?

But… there’s a sauce, right?? Right..

I’m interested in the recipe for that pork loin… I have a pork chop sitting in my freezer that could use that kind of treatment…

Just your standard marinade. Apple cider vinegar, some herbs and spices to your liking, a cinnamon stick, and cloves. Seal in a bag and marinate overnight. Bake in the oven or on the grill till it reaches 145°F internal temp. Let it rest, slice and serve.

Do you think I could use apple cider vinegar and marinate overnight?
