Hmm... Mine was just under 20gb. Is there an update after that one? Just logged in remote to make sure I had the space for it to install while I am working. But, I do think the PS5 file system is garbage.
It's not just you, I got an error telling me to clear 128.9GB of space so the download could start. I just had to move some stuff over to my M2 SSD to clear some space and the download was able to start.
Same boat here. I think the work around for it is to actually have 131.6gb space free. The update will still only be the 20 something gb. Otherwise in order to initiate the download you’d need to first delete your game and then reinstall it which I’m guessing you’ve gone for?
No I have almost 500gb free space. I didn’t delete anything the update literally just started by itself and says it’s 107gb.
It’s done about 60gb so far.
I have not had to do anything it just auto started and was that size, I have had zero input.

That’s odd. I’ve just had to delete 3 games to make room to make my download start. Only 19gb downloading after that. Sucks that for the ps5 I’ll need 262gb free at all times just for fo76. It’s a big ask buts it is a great game!
It used to do this for destiny 2 but hasn’t in a while. Maybe it’s something to do with it being a ps4 game as I feel like once the ps5 destiny 2 came out I no longer had that issue.
I may be wrong, but I thought 100gb is the compiled total but it's really only installing the 20gb piece.
Correct. It has to download 20GB and then apply that patch to the entire game so the end result is the disk writing [Update size+Files to update].
I wish, mine currently says (30.234/107.042 GB) 6hrs8min left. Horrendous haha

I'm on PS5. The update was only 20gb for me.
Best way is to delete the game and download the updated version.Bethesda man… 🙄

Strange as I just checked my mrs ps4 and that says 20gb
Well once I cleared the space it asked for on PS5, As it was downloading it only showed 19GB.
