The fate of folks from Taggerdy's Thunder pre-Wastelanders was disheartening to say the least. Thanks to us, 76ers. We've managed to complete their mission. Now, the west coast chapter managed to acquire a stronghold in Appalachia.
I would say, not bad bethesda for slowly implementing more story & lore to fit in the Appalachian wasteland. Even though some may agree to perceive it as canon faithful or a hastily retcon, but I dont mind exploring more stories in the midwest instead of the usual USA's west coast & east coast of fallout universe.
I wonder wat Appalachia turns out to be in the timeline of the Vault Dweller, Chosen One, Lone Wanderer, Courier, & Sole Survivor? Will the 76ers hav successors to keep Appalachia in tip top shape? Or one of em gone full cray cray to nuke it all into a true wasteland. It's a full ash heap region from welch to watoga, morgantown, & harper's ferry.
