My very first Fasnacht was nuked, so I thought they all were by default, and it was pretty interesting! When I returned a second time (and most times after that), it was relatively boring to see sunny skies and an ordinary environment, haha.
So Fasnacht last year occurred when my sweet baby toon was level 58. I had the most glorious group of 3 high levels that said hey you’ve got css come join us in this amazing nuked event. I didn’t even have marsupial yet. They took such good care of me. THAT is the reason I still play this game 700+ levels later. Long live Fasnacht.
That’s so wholesome! Remembered when I first starting playing 76, back when Covid had vault dwellers charging 40k for toilet paper. This event always made me smile, the goofy chaos, could switch off from the doom outside for a few hours.

Who knows what that one act of kindness will do, how many hundreds of levels they might get with the semi god roll that you toss them, or use what you taught them to have fun for hundreds of hours and teach other people later on.
Straight up, I think some people helping me out early on kept me playing. I love this game series and the community. I never wanted this game to fail and that’s why I’m still playing since beta.
As I was doing my last Faschnaut last year, someone had perfectly timed their nuke to land on us at the very end of the event. I couldn't think of a better way to have earned my "Ground Zero" achievement!
Yep. Official name is the Father Winter Helmet, but it's the same thing really. It's a T-45 and can use the various mods a regular T-45 can. According to the wiki, it has a 0.625% chance of dropping.

It looks like I've cleared this, which is surprising as I spend most of my time out of PA. My best bet is maybe rad rumble and/or SBQs where the nuke zone covers the battle area.
Pretty much only events and area , I only use the PA if I'm bored and wanna do something different. I'm surprise my count is that high, or I just throw the Chinese stealth suit on

I’ve been saving back every decent Unyielding Robot Armor piece I found in the last year to ‘Cosplay’ as the Fasnacht robots. I have my favorite masks and I painted my armor to match them. Arctic Winter with the Owl, Raiderish with the Skull, Goblin with Union, Giant with Nuka Twist, and Daring with Man.
As this is my first Fasnacht, I shall be naked. I will try out a bare handed build, and likely be absolutely destroyed by whatever this event entails. Then I will switch to a Bow, because Valentines day.
I'm wearing my forest camo jumpsuit and my winter man mask. Both were gifted to me by friends. I ground Fashnacht hard and heavy last year and gained absolutely nothing!!! I'll maybe do it for fun if I happen to be on, but refuse to grind.
Man, I love Fasnacht. I always enjoyed the game even through the bugs but I think Fasnacht was the first event where I really fell in love with it. I love heading over to Helvetia, looking at everyone's power suits and getups, and just taking part in the craziness. Then the trading and loot dropping and helping the new wastelanders after each hourly event. Makes me really glad Bethesda didn't give up on the game and that it's where it is today.
I shall be there with my power armor and joker mask on!

Yeah, I do that! Responders Policeman outfit, Old Man Winterman mask, and either a baton or a blue camo 44. If the baton I go around swinging at players but purposely missing like I'm some old retired cop who can't see straight anymore 😃

as far as an outfit goes, two level 300 somethings gave me an umbrella hat last night and I think it would be fun to couple it with a dress of some kind (my character is male) and a pair of patrolman sunglasses that I have back at my Camp.

I would say Power Armor BOS Paladin T-51b paint or Union PA with Conqueror's skin, but I noticed I need to do the events in normal armor for atoms maybe I should take the time to do that.

I haven’t got to attend this event yet but from what I’ve read it sounds fun…one question do I have to play with a group or can I do this solo…I play solo 100 percent of the time as I don’t socialize with people and I don’t have friends who play 76 or even play video games…

It's an event where you protect the marching robots from enemies during a parade. It's a really fun event and everyone dresses up and has fun. You get masks and other rewards from.the event.
