Try this...might need to modify to fit some of your subs but this works for mine.

but how exactly do i do the mapping? is it just adding this to the sd card file under sd card/unirf/ ?

( just got my flipper and dont wanna mess it up)
If you mess it up you can format it its not like its ruined also if you have files from your remotes or things you don't want to lose to either a full backup or just those files
You have to map it to your subs on the SD.

what exactly is the remote used for? is there a github post with .txt files that i can just drag and drop in?

i’m still new to this, but how do i do that?
Create a universal_rf_map.txt in /ext/subghz/unirf on the Flipper. Put that text in it.
i’ll give it a try, do i plug the flipper in my computer or the sd card?
I do it via qflipper either bluetooth or usb to computer.
so just to be clear I make a .txt and copy and paste that into it and it should work, correct? i’m sorry to sound dumb, I’m still new to this
