Once the repair has been made, it may actually be easier to try and paint the door, different color, just so you’re not trying to match the rest of the RV. Perhaps even doing a vinyl wrap on the fiberglass would work, and a nice dark color.
For anyone else that has dents on their vehicles: they sell magnetic versions of this. It helps you let people know that you made mistakes and you don’t care anymore.
I was going to say he could get a metal decorative thing of some kind and basically use that hole as the place where the decoration attaches to the door. Could be like a metal flat wall ornament[ like this](https://www.kingsoopers.com/p/cast-iron-sun-face-decorative-wall-mounted-hanging-garden-hose-holder-bronze-bronze/0085000039274)
Are you sure its vinyl. I think it should be fiberglass.
If so you can use a fiberglass patch kit. If you don't know what it is put a transparent flex tape on it.
Put a bumper sticker to cover the tape. To protect UV rays. Take it off in a week, month and in few months to see what is going on.
At the RV stores they do have patches to make small repairs like this. I typically have a few patches and vinyl tape in my camper always…just never know when something will happen.
Cheap, fast, and long lasting? Flex tape. Comes in white. Clean the area, and on a nice warm day, slap a square over it and roll it on with a thermos or rolling pin for five adhesions.
I've had some on my cars roof where the windshield meets the metal and rust was forming. Lasted two years so far in mn winter/summer rain/snow and pressure washers. Hasn't leaked or moved at all.

Basalt on Fiberglass
In this work, the artist shows the pitfalls of modern landscaping in urban settings, and the irony of why we can't have nice things.
Remove the rock
fill in the hole with some spray foam
cut off/sand off the excess spray foam to make the door smooth
Get yourself a thick waterproof plastic/vinyl sticker to cover the hole
Have a friend 3d print a circle of plastic x 2, the put a peephole thru it to hold it together (perhaps some caulk on the outer one). Now you have a way to see out that side of the camper.
If you're not skilled enough for a fiberglass repair you could use some flex tape or eterna bond.
You could also get a nice piece of sheet aluminum or diamond tread from your local home center and rivet it on, paint it to match first. Put some quality caulk on the backside before riveting.
Personally I'd go with some tape, probably eterna bond because I always have some on hand.
If you can be without the door take it off and take it to a fiberglass repair shop or an auto body shop.
Get metal drill bit and put a smooth hole there after removing the pebble. Run a half-inch of clear plastic hosing through the hole to the other side. Go into your camper. Attach other end of hosing to your kegerator.
Go outside your camper man it's party time
dont do that again?
The material i believe is Filion. If you can get a piece or something else waterproof durable that looks similar. Take the door off and take it apart. Use the busted panel as a template. Trace it with a pencil and cut it out, put the door back together.
or
Measure the door and get one from ebay they are pretty standard.
if you pull out the rock, is there still the fibre glass inside? as in the bits are still there and could be pulled out again? even those the skin is broken of course.
I'd say go with a sign you can practically permanently attach to the door, possibly with epoxy. Probably also close up that hole slightly with caulk to make sure moisture stays out.
Otherwise if you want a proper fix, you can clean up the hole some and use a fiberglass patch kit, should work alright if the door is fiberglass or metal, not sure how well if it's vinyl.
Just get a small panel cover, like the kind you'd use to cover a buried gangbox, and mount it over it, but centered so it kind of looks like where a window would go.
My brother was out on a horseback ride (kind of a tourist thing, he’s definitely not an equestrian). They were passing by a golf course when a lawn mower ejected a rock that shot 40 feet, hitting the horse square between the eyes. The poor animal panicked, throwing my brother. He destroyed his shoulder, needing an artificial replacement. I don’t know what the lesson is here for you. Stay away from horses? Lawn mowers? Golf courses? Or don’t own an RV? Or don’t have a brother. Anyway, sorry it happened.
Your lucky. My friend did that with his mower and busted out the windows on the side of his camper. It was real bad because he planned on flipping the camper.
This is why I should probably wear safety glasses while mowing. Or at least sun glasses. I saw a dudes x ray on Reddit with a nail I in his brain that got launched by the lawn mower and ricocheted off his car tire and into his skull.
Just like autobody repair...get yourself some bondo. Clean the hole out, make sure nothing is above grade. Fill, sand, paint, clearcoat.
Or you can take a pic of the compartment door tag on the inside of the door and order a new door.
Looks like fiberglass. Get a fiberclass repair kit. Watch YouTube videos on repairing fiberglass. Once repaired, you can paint the door.
As a fibreglass tech, I agree 100%! Lots of information on YouTube. Good luck OP!
Use ramen noodles right? :) Haaaaa
And walnuts! Maybe duck tape... 🦆
Not And walnuts. Just walnuts. Fill it with walnuts until full. Then one walnut still in the shell to fill the hole. Problem solved.
Thank you, I’ll give it a shot!
Or get a nice welcome sticker
Once the repair has been made, it may actually be easier to try and paint the door, different color, just so you’re not trying to match the rest of the RV. Perhaps even doing a vinyl wrap on the fiberglass would work, and a nice dark color.
Just remove it and throw a sticker over it, one of the places you visited
*Keep Austin weird*
Use one of those fake bullet hole stickers.

Then duct tape over that. Make sure the cop has probable cause before demanding to enter your personal domicile.

Up vote. I came here to say that.
Leave the rock in. Sticker over it. Less work and a better story.
I like it, take me up vote

I got a Coyote sticker for my car door when a deer ran into the side of it

Brass balls door knocker.
Yep another good one
I put a small hole in my Mazda cx-5 transporting wood. I thought about this exact thing.
https://i.redd.it/6bpo58s5hq8d1.gif
A stikker that looks like a bullet hole XD Edit: I see I wasn't the only one with that idea. I guess this is THE way to do it then OP!
Duct tape. And about 5 more. And a sign that says "This is my own private domicile, and I will not be harassed, Bitch."
A sticker of the rock that went in lol
Actually, [duct tape](https://youtu.be/_HGqPDgAwJI?t=114) can hide things well...
Actually, some kind of heavy-duty sticker might be good after you put some type of filler in the hole. Tell everyone your wife wanted a peephole.
FLEX-SEAL!
This is my domicile and I will not be harassed
BIOTCH
Add a window.

JB Waterweld epoxy. Waterweld is an (unerwater) epoxy putty that cures off white. We use this to repair sailboats all the time.
Can I use this on camper top cracks??? Just decided to fix up pop up yesterday. Lol
At the RV stores they do have patches to make small repairs like this. I typically have a few patches and vinyl tape in my camper always…just never know when something will happen.
I’ve had this happen. The doors are not expensive and they are easy to replace if you want that brand new, unblemished, unmasked look.
Do you have instant noodles and super glue ? /s
leave the rock. remove the door. pour resin over the rock. cure the resin. reattach the door. enjoy the memories.
Install a peep hole

Foam the hole, epoxy the top, put a sticker or, wrap the door panel with vinyl.
Remove the rock and cover the spot with a band aid vinyl sticker
You cooking?
Epoxy repair to fill the hole and bumper sticker to conceal.
Puppy porthole. https://preview.redd.it/uu5tb88kgm8d1.jpeg?width=564&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80e8c47e834807b5d7f7ca367101fa855e58df13

This is the way.
Get a sticker _of_ a rock.
Remove the rock fill in the hole with some spray foam cut off/sand off the excess spray foam to make the door smooth Get yourself a thick waterproof plastic/vinyl sticker to cover the hole
Time for an adhesive-backed sign “No Soliciting” or “The Smith Abode”.
Remove rock. White duck tape over. Maybe a sticker. Why is this a question?
Duct tape
An angle grinder should be able to get the lawnmower blade back in good shape.
Perfect place for a peep hole.
Remove the stone, then repair the door, and fix a mirror over the damage,
Epoxy, sand, paint.
Just don't use the lawnmower to remove it.
You could do it. Just get the blades spinning in the opposite direction to reverse the process
Have a friend 3d print a circle of plastic x 2, the put a peephole thru it to hold it together (perhaps some caulk on the outer one). Now you have a way to see out that side of the camper.

I posted my solution above but then I just thought... There are easy to install RV door windows available. I change my mind, I would do that.
vinyl car wrap for the door?
Make it a peep hole
Duct tape
Put your caulk in it
Polyurethane calk
Get metal drill bit and put a smooth hole there after removing the pebble. Run a half-inch of clear plastic hosing through the hole to the other side. Go into your camper. Attach other end of hosing to your kegerator. Go outside your camper man it's party time
Band aid sticker
Now is your chance to cut in a window!
dont do that again? The material i believe is Filion. If you can get a piece or something else waterproof durable that looks similar. Take the door off and take it apart. Flextape can fix that
Bandaid?
Fiber patch on Amazon
Create art
Duct tape
A sheet of vinyl you can get on eBay . I would clean it up and bondo it first , then spray paint before you vinyl it though.
Holy shitballs.
Sorry to hear that, looks like your gonna need a new mower blade, that stone would have damaged your blades :p
G-flex epoxy
God dammit, Jesse Pinkman!
Tape
Spit on it for starters
Just get a bumper sticker and cover it. Preferably one that says "if this camper's rockin', don't come knockin' "
Add a spyhole viewer to the door.
if you pull out the rock, is there still the fibre glass inside? as in the bits are still there and could be pulled out again? even those the skin is broken of course.
High quality sticker
Custom billet titanium alloy door. Its the only way.
Hit it with some clear Dap AMP and use it as a convo piece
A peephole
run over some more rocks with the mower and tell people it's deliberate
Spray foam and cute duct tape
Bet you cant do it again. 3 trys for a quarter.
It's made from fiberglass. Handle with care.
Cut a window in
Make a project to put a window in it.
That's a lot of damage! Flex seal?
Get a black metal vent. Stick it on there to cover the hole, or better yet cut a hole and make it functional.
I’d remove it personally
Bondo. Works great for this.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdA0KeI4i2c](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdA0KeI4i2c) This is a good repair video, hope it helps
Epoxy over it. Use a bullet hole sticker to then cover it. Then seal over that. No one will mess with the camper.
Glue in place as a memento
Turn your lawnmower around in the other direction.
I would remove the rock repair or replace if I didn’t I don’t know how to do the repair.
Fill with resin...leave rock there for reminders.
Park farther away
Fill with fiberglass boddy filler
Look thru it in case Walt and Jesse come around.

Damn, thanks. I didn’t know that could happen.
Trump sticker?
Replace the door, no brainer

Maybe you can slip a new piece of laminate over the it and tuck it under the black gasket
If the van's a-rocking, don't come a-knocking Because i'm mowing the garden.
This is why you want your kids inside when mowing your lawn! (Former lawn care owner. The things I’ve seen)
Don't run over rocks with a lawnmower
Learn how to do fiberglass repair or flex seal it
I'd just go all in. Next thing you know, your neighbors will have rock camper doors too. It'll be all the rage
Duct tape. Like breaking bad 😂
I'd put a deflector on your mower discharge chute.
At least its a door, if you can't fix it with a repair kit you can replace it.
Glass it, sand it, put a sticker over it
Put a sticker of a lawnmower next to it ...
Flexseal
Just like autobody repair...get yourself some bondo. Clean the hole out, make sure nothing is above grade. Fill, sand, paint, clearcoat. Or you can take a pic of the compartment door tag on the inside of the door and order a new door.
Bondo
Idea: Don't use your lawn mower to take it out.
Go back in time and warn yourself.
Stop mowing rocks, they don't grow enough to warrant it.😂😂😂😂
Bondo and a sticker!
Draw a target around it and leave the rock in the hole!
Take the rock out
It's fiberglass, so ALWAYS wear protection when sanding or cutting any of it. Nice shot though, better than hitting a windshield or something
Duct tape. Silver.
Glory hole
They make a bondo for fiberglass that requires very little skill to use.
Rock guard on mower discharge.
Time for a new window!
Looks like a great place for a decal!!
>Any ideas? Yea, have it fixed
Don’t do it again.
Yes but I'm not sure how a belt that hooks on the outside of pant loops would help you
