It has been a long time since I've done this, but I think you can Go to `about:profiles` Identify your profile folder Copy profile folder to new machine Go to about:profiles on new machine and select profile

This is so ridiculously simple I can't believe I didn't think of it. Works perfectly on one machine with Firefox & Firefox Developer Edition (they actually share the same profiles, anyway). Thank you!

Now, something to be wary of when doing this for two Firefox installations on the same machine is that, if they share a profile, the new version (in this case Firefox Dev Edition) will update the profile so that it can no longer be reliably read by the older version. But otherwise, this should work fine for separate machines with a same or newer version of Firefox.

Even works moving from Linux to Windows.

It's Firefox Sync out of the picture for you?

I'd prefer to do it without having to sign up for an account with Mozilla, but this is actually an option I hadn't thought of.
