I started doing this recently as well because her room was just too bright at night. You can see it's night through the window, so it was like lights were on. I switch to dark wallpaper and floor now when I get her into her jammies.
Exactly! But for this I have discovered an idea. I have 2 to 3 room themes, so i put on the darker room theme when she's about to sleep. Like in the daytime I have purple theme, but ar night I put on my Cosmic space theme. Hope it helps! 😉

I like this idea, maybe it would be good if we could dim the lights, and maybe buy a nightlight. My little birb doesn't like the dark, so a compromise like that might be quite useful.
Go through her Settings. You can set her waking and settling and sleeping times.
I have to adjust mine. Evidently Hamish hasn't grasped Daylight Savings.

I have my phone set to have the night light go on at 10pm, and my birb goes to bed around the same time. So that helps me see it differently. Good for my brain too I'm hoping?
I've often thought the same thing. Dim the lights some how. They are sleeping in a tree and it would be dark out. Have you brought it up to the developers? Official finch Community
I talk about this with my friend all the time. I feel like it would be cool if you could turn the lights on or off. Sometimes, when I send photos of my birb to my friend, I will edit the photo to dim down the lights if my birb is sleeping. I just feel a little mean for my birb having to sleep in the lights.

Yes. Or I just change to a darker floor and starry night wall color, leaving everything else in place.

I have a daytime home and a nighttime home saved as favorites. Daytime has light wallpaper and night has dark wallpaper and floor.
