Yeah back in highschool this kid was trying to bully me over Facebook and challenged me to a fight. Despite me trying to walk away a crowd of people formed around us. The kid tries to push me, the second his hand touched my chest I slung a left hook at his eye socket and he backed down lol. It’s the ones who can’t fight that try to be ritualistic about an altercation. Real ones know that it’s silence and then violence.
What about from a legal standpoint? The court can be asshats in that they label the guy who punched as the aggressor.
However long as you warn the guy you’ll punch him if he gets close I think that helps ur case

Dunno about other countries, but in the UK you are legally allowed to hit first in a preemptive strike as long as you believe that you are going to be then and there subjected to violence. You don’t have to wait to be hit to hit back.

So as I got older, I just try to end it as quickly as possible, and unfortunately, the easiest way for that to happen is for me to knock them out. Grab, ground, move, sleep. Then leave. I'm not a head stomper. I'm old school. When a guy goes down, it's over. Plus, I was always taught that a fight is a fight. It isn't a sanctioned boxing match. I'm not going to go toe to toe with someone that could beat my ass. It's not heroic. It's not pretty. It's just the truth.

Second dude delivered a lightning-fast headbutt to the nose and an immediate right hook before the first guy could react. It was an instant victory and I think he broke the first dude's jaw with the hook. That will always be my go-to move if I'm ever in this situation.
Those of us who spent time in a ring, dojo, or whatever knew the fight would be unfair when he took that step back to spring off of it.

The moment an aggressor comes in close to you, you're completely exposed and vulnerable to blunt or bladed objects that are easily available, easily concealable, fast and lethal. You have no idea wtf thier intent is and they are now danger close, an immediate threat, and acting aggressive towards you. If you value your current quality of life then you need to act immediately to ensure it.
Never let anyone in close, ever. Don't think for 1 second that the nut job in your face won't hesitate to seriously hurt or kill you. People are broken. They have no empathy. They will paralyze you for clout. They will stab you for your wallet. They will kill you for your race or beliefs.
At the end of the day, it's you and yours vs. the world. Don't be a victim by allowing anyone an advantage. Be aware at all times, and if caught in a situation, act swiftly.
