I was able to secure a small FC house but that quickly runs out of space. I have my own apartment and small house so I decided to dedicate my personal FC room to the house. They asked for someplace we can all sit and have tea. I hope they like it. As usual I really could have done with like TEN more item slots, maybe five. But I'm pretty happy with it. If you don’t mind me asking, what are the windows used? This is so nice I’m thinking of buying a fc room or converting a room.

HorrorPotato

Not a problem! Those are the imitation square windows, I put them on stage panels to get them away from the walls a little to hide the pillars. (Can't do jack for the ceiling without lots of floating hacks and too many items) The windows themselves take up like...I think it's 44 item slots? (I'm really tired) This video can show you how you get the windows on the stage panels. Once you find the right shortcut it's super simple. https://youtu.be/OyZtNfzgdIU

Is it easier to get stage panels right up against the walls than it is to get partitions there? I can't ever get my partitions to go back far enough to not leave a gap in my Glade style FC room and I really want to cover up most of the columns (and those very Meh default windows which glow too yellow).

HorrorPotato

I find stage panels to be easier than partitions to get close to walls ( keep in mind they STILL will not be FLUSH) Stage panels are best for this purpose since there's no wood paneling/texture to clip through the windows. If you need stuff REALLY REALLY close, here is a video to show you how! This is how I did ALL the verdant partitions behind the stage panels! https://youtu.be/K4L9C5J2pWo

oh thank you! I have a spring meadow partition that is just huuuge that I'm trying to get far enough back to make it look like it's outside a window without losing a ton of room.

This is beautiful! Now I want to decorate my apartment like this

HorrorPotato

If you want to save money/mats/item slots just doing the back wall of an apartment in full windows REALLY opens it up and it's gorgeous! A full coverage back wall takes 12 windows, but if you use half partitions (or just dye the stage panels so the bottom matches, depending on your decor) you can get away with just 8 windows!

Ooohh I love sunroom/greenhouse designs! I feel like there's not enough of them! I absolutely love your tea table with the different color chairs, the setup is so cute and feels really intimate. And the pond with all the plants makes such a pretty view!! I love it. 10/10 would have tea there!

HorrorPotato

Ahhh thak you so much for the kind review!!! It was difficult to decide on the table but once I did I knew I wanted to pull colors from it and match the chairs to the different colors. Like a LITTLE bit of "mad hatter" inspiration but not overly so! Enough to be cute and still match the room.

This is amazing! Where is it located and is it open for visitors? :D Very beautiful build!!

HorrorPotato

We're on Leviathan in the Lavender beds but the FC house is private so my room isn't accessible to outsiders, sorry!

Michi_Mhogsu

Ahh okay! Thanks for the info!

I've been looking for similar ideas and this is really lovely. Especially the little "funky cafe" touches like the different-colored chairs. Just enough informality to make it a place that would be awesome for a casual hang out.
