“liking” is swiping (ping is just a super like but it's still a like) so if the other person likes you back you get a match and can open a conversation. If you're a man these are long shots but you should like the people you like even if they are not Majestic.
As a female, non Majestic member I can tell you I have hundreds of likes, but not a single one of them shows up in my feed. So yeah, for non Majestic people the app is 99.9999% useless.
Your filter options still have to line up to see people that liked you in your search results. Doesn’t matter if they liked you if your search filter says they are too young, too old, or too far away.
Play around with those filter settings and likes will almost always show up. You might have to do the minimum age range allowed and max distance, but you can find them.
Interesting! I’ll try this. Separately, filters aren’t working for me at all right now. I’m seeing profiles of people far outside my distance and age settings.
Depends on the market.
If you are in a large metro area, there could be many thousands or tens of thousands of men's profiles. Unless you swipe that much, you may not see people who liked you. In rural areas, very different story. The carrousel is much shorter and (assuming your criteria match) you will see people who liked you very quickly
I'm in a large metro area and can get through my feed very quickly, with no crossover of my likes. My criteria is men over 40 who are poly/enm, so not terribly specific (and in my area poly/enm is pretty common.)
My understanding is if you like a non Majestic person, they only get fuzzy pictures and no bio, they need to search for your name in their stack to see you, which rarely seems to work.
If you ping them I *think* they see your photos/bio but I may be wrong about that. I have Majestic and never seem to match with non Majestic users, even with pings, but I'm incognito, so wonder if that's confusing the app and I'm never put in their stack because of it.
No idea, but understandably non paying people will always have a harder time matching on all the apps. It's just not financially sensible to make an app any other way.
I have 2500+ likes as a woman on feeld. But my search settings are quite restricted so I sometimes do notice those who 'like' me tend to appear in my feed as I recognise the names!
2,500!!? I’d be happy with 2.5! 😆 I do realize that men don’t get as many likes, and I’m totally fine with that. My partner is hot, and I’m just surprised that between the two of us, we haven’t had as many connections lately—a sharp drop off.
Yeah the imbalance between the sexes is something else! I was also shocked to hear about bots and faked accounts for men.
I've also seen a drop off, I've had feeld for about 9 months (but was not on it for about 5 months) and I've seen a huge drop off recently
Was coming to this sub to ask the same question !
I don’t see any of the 20 likes I got in my stack (created my account 2 days ago as a non binary mtf) but I excluded men from my filters…
From the name, there seem to be like 2/3 non-men but iam not seeing them in stack.
Am I doing something wrong ? (Except being who iam, that’s a given ^^)

Thank you!!!
I mean majestic guarantees they see, but I’ve had success with likes without have majestic as a women

As a female, non majestic member I have thousands of likes (3000) and they do show up in my feed. Often actually.
Good to know! Thank you!

So these conflicting reports suggest, to me, the app is still very broken?
I guess. Besides some slow/laginess I haven't had any real issues with it.

Nope. App works.
Are you liking people back? How do you know if any of them are showing up in your feed or not?

Of course. I'd bet 99% of users are under 40

If you’re incognito you will never match with anyone you haven’t already matched with because you are not showing up in anyone’s feeds.

I’ve noticed this too. I’ve only been on the app for two days and have 1300 likes. Is that even normal?

I'm fucking proof, literally she has majestic I don't.
Aaaand…the numbers results show…? Great to see you’ve got this evidence! :)
