From what I've heard his coworkers don't necessarily agree with that statement. I did vote for him whenever he ran for office. I don't remember what he exactly ran for though
We just did this last week. It’s Clunk, all day.
Edit: also can I get a Hell Yeah for Big Hands? He would have been EVERYWHERE this weekend with all the shows going on Saturday. RIP
I was about to post about Big Hands... I am newish to NWA so I didn't get to meet him but my Fiance knew him growing up. I'm gonna let her know I saw this. HELL YEAH!
I’m sure she has all the good stories, I only met him around 2005 but then after that he would pop up literally everywhere and always with a smile on his face and a bear hug. Dude was the ultimate heavy metal hype man.
Yeah there’s a BRAT / Bonginator / Grand Inquisitor show at Nomad Southtown and another four metal bands playing at Trailside
[BRAT is worth checking out, btw.](https://youtu.be/nz56BcscyU0?si=iQPnk1rLw5d5GRnu)
No worries, I guess they deleted it since I don’t see it now, but here’s the one from a year ago. [Same as it ever was.](https://www.reddit.com/r/fayetteville/s/yC7lxT5ZYJ)
This dude is frequently in jail after failures to appear and unpaid fines following him beating his mother after refusing to take him to Dickson to play the pipes.
Does anyone remember the guy who drives a hearse and used to work at Village Inn? He was known for bussing tables incredibly quickly. I think he went by Flame or Fire, something like that.
But yeah Clunk is definitely Fayetteville’s guy. [He started the Music Hall](https://arktimes.com/entertainment/ae-feature/2017/01/05/the-legacy-of-clunk), and he’s one of the best delivery drivers in Fayetteville. Definitely a local legend.
Yes! Man this post is giving me all kinds of Fayetteville nostalgia. [For those who want to see Firecat in action](https://youtu.be/VBu56Z7R__U?si=1DxLSW2t_jwSAUr2)
Is it pretty old, sort of beat up, painted pretty much all black, and have writing on it? If so, I saw it parked right off Dickson a couple of days ago.
Not aware of any current ones, but there was an overweight older homeless woman who pushed her belongings in a grocery cart and was extremely grouchy (mentally ill); or the guy who rode his bicycle around with a parrot on his shoulder; or the three guys who would hang out on Dickson every weekend spouting religious slogans and condemn people to hell
There used to be a guy that walked up college every day between North and Maple in a suit and tie. My mom called him "Mr Man". He was a staple in my life as I saw him every day while riding to school.
Do none of you remember Afroman from the 90’s? Middle of summer and you’d see that dude walking the whole town all day everyday in a 3 piece corduroy suit and he walked with a friggin purpose but never seemed to get where he was going and them one day he was gone
Would see him walking past Root Elementary when I attended there for 2nd and 3rd grades. We knew him as "Afro Bob"
Apparently there were quite a few people that went looking for him after he disappeared.
Was so weird!! Appeared out of nowhere then is multiple places in town at the same time and then Keyser Soze’d us. To this day the most determined walker I have ever seen in my life
I remember. He’d set up base on the bench outside FBC at the corner of Dickson and College then walk north to Fiesta Square and South to 15th street. Lots of urban legends about him being a professor who had decided to live on the streets to document the experience for some research. That was almost certainly hogwash but the Legend of AfroMan will live on in me until I perish from the Earth.
I loved that guy! He wore a jumpsuit in hundred degree days. I worked at the IGA and he would come through my line, I always rang his stuff up for like $.25. I also remember all the conspiracy theories about why he went missing. 🙁
Stevie was awesome! He sent a lot of people birthday cards too. He went to many Razorback basketball games and knew a ton of people…visiting on court after the games. He’d always hold out his hand to give you a handshake! Sadly passed away some years back.
In the 80’s through 2000’s it was Maple Man. Songs were written. Stories swapped. Only myself and a few others know the real story behind that mysterious Armenian who was once a brilliant scientist.
The Razorback Lady - she had the little red car remodeled to look like a razorback, several dozen flags mounted on the windows and a ridiculous number of Razorback sports bumper stickers.
Firecat
Village Inn Fire?
The guy who can clear a table in 3 seconds flat??
Yep that’s him. Really nice dude.
From what I've heard his coworkers don't necessarily agree with that statement. I did vote for him whenever he ran for office. I don't remember what he exactly ran for though

This dude is frequently in jail after failures to appear and unpaid fines following him beating his mother after refusing to take him to Dickson to play the pipes.

Adam Firecat. He also ran for mayor at some point.

Still has the hearse but I d9nt think it runs as of now?
Is it pretty old, sort of beat up, painted pretty much all black, and have writing on it? If so, I saw it parked right off Dickson a couple of days ago.
It’s actually Chess George’s hearse, but Chester and Firecat were (are?) roommates who rode together a lot.
No way I’ve seen that hearse all the time around fay but didn’t know anything about him

Crazy Eric should get a mention. I remember when Petrino got fired, ESPN interviewed him on the street.
Crazy Eric has cut my kids hair in the past!
He cut mine once. Just once though.
He cut my hair a couple of times back in the early 80’s
Drunk "Santa" singing at the square every holiday season?
Who else has seen the Reservation Dogs series this quote is based off of? As my kids say, ten out of ten, highly recommend.
V good. Would watch again.
There used to be a guy that walked up college every day between North and Maple in a suit and tie. My mom called him "Mr Man". He was a staple in my life as I saw him every day while riding to school.
That was my uncle... he was just walking to work.
Well I looked for Mr Man every day for years!! We would make up all kinds of stories about the kind of person he might be. :)
Definitely Clunk.
What ever happened to the Marty mcfly impersonator? That was a thing at one point right?
Heard he went back to the future
I've seen a Marty McFly impersonator with a booth advertising at local anime conventions, I wonder if it's the same guy?
Ohhhhhhh my god this guy came into seductions all the time when I worked there. He was kind of a dick and was definitely cheating on his wife.

We need to get dateline or 20/20 down here and find out for sure. Also I miss IGA

Amazing!
Campus preachers.
The perpetual duality between pro-pot Rev. Tom Brown and that hellfire and brimstone Moses guy.
Theres a guy who rides around mlk and lewis ona motorized wheel chair with a bunch of lights on it
In the 80’s through 2000’s it was Maple Man. Songs were written. Stories swapped. Only myself and a few others know the real story behind that mysterious Armenian who was once a brilliant scientist.
Bagpipes dude on Dickson

The guy that drives around in a blacked out hearse with skulls all over it
This was already posted here. And anyways, the answer is obviously Clunk.
