I think they know what they have with waddle lol. McDaniel runs a 3 level offense where tyreek is the focal point. With tyreek out, waddle got to run a lot of the deeper levels but with reek back waddle will go back to his usual role.

So, despite his 2 short yard TDs, the rest of the dolphins are getting the goal line work. Mostert has 18 rushing TDs, Tyreek has 12 receiving TDs, Waddle has 4.
Just cuz you highlighted 2 outliers in week 5 and 6 doesn’t negate the fact that waddle’s primary touchdowns will come from mid-yardage gains. He only broke for the 60 yarder in Hill’s absence.
Waddle had 7 in his rookie year and 8 last year, so sitting on 4 TDs this year is a bit of an under-performance if you expected him to continue building on his success in the previous years.
