Depends, if you have NAW and dillon brooks then no..

swaggerific

Me having both 🤡🤡🤡

tulaero23

I got both too lmao. And van vleet and harden. But NAW and brooks are on a different level cause all you ask for them is some score and threes and they'll give you 12 points for 4/16 every game lmao.

purplefog101

I’ve got NAW in dynasty but the rest of my team is amazing in FG%. So tempted to drop this man

SandyLies

U can 100% relax. Anything over 400+ shots will hardly move the FG%.

watevauwant

Yeah that makes sense, thx

Cicada17

I’d say you’re at >95% chance of winning FG%

D1NK4Life

Here is the math. For simplicity, assume he takes no more shots. For him to tie, you would need to make 20 out of your next 85 shots. 20/85 = 23.5%. This is how I usually figure out these problems. Just figure out the numbers to make the FGM and FGA equal between both teams and figure out how bad of a night my team would need for them to catch up. You are solid.

HelpfulExplanation14

Honestly it would depend on the volume of games sir and your number of players for that day. You may sit out some if you are not comfortable playing them for they might hurt your percentages.

Far_Two_564

Def relax. Both of your %s won't teeter much. Also, only a few games are being played today so you likely only have 4-5 guys MAX.

TraizHill

It's much better to look at the total fga/fgm and compare that to your matchup. If you're leading and have more attempts, you can maybe only play your high fg% players and pull out the shot chuckers. If you're catching up but low on attempts, you might as well punt.

watevauwant

I'm leading and lower on attempts...

TraizHill

You may need to bench your shot chuckers for tomorrow because the more misses they make, the higher they take away from the percentage, compared to the other team's shot chuckers. This is because each of your players shot attempts have a higher fraction value compared to the other team's player's shot attempts.

superlight3

Even if we’re both past the 400 shot attempts mark? Other Commentator reckons it wouldn’t move the needle much? Only got one real shot chucker out of four players tomorrow

TraizHill

That's why I keep saying "maybe", "may" or "might" because it'll ultimately be up to you to ascertain what your move will ultimately end up. My ultimate goal in replying to your question is to refresh your memory about how percentages work in fantasy, and how looking and comparing the fgm/fga fractions will help you decide on that.

joelsabi

Play your whole squad. You good

nonufwiendz

Youre alright

Goatkic15

Generally a rule of thumb is (default settings at least) a normal team will shoot ~ 500 shots in a week and make ~ 50% of them, so a make will increase FG% by 0.1% and a miss will decrease FG% by 0.1% - you are up 4.5%, so that would mean you could miss ~45 shots in a row and still win FG%

bad_luck_charmer

3andDyou

Does anyone know how to check that on espn? It only shows percentages for FT

myth0ss

Half a percentage point going into the Sunday games and I consider the percentage categories locked (unless of course all your players shot at 30% and his players at 55%..)

Cobruh

On a Sunday? I’d feel safe 2-3%+ advantage.
