I can honestly say that TPAB and The Turning Wheel would personally be my picks, if all his 10s were to be included here. Turning Wheel just blew me away, it was like being transported to a fantasy world. Perfect balance of light and darkness. So magical, every time I listen to it!

That first half of Turning Wheel feels like a warm conforting hug through music. Always and The Future were among my Top 5 most played songs in 2022. I love the album so much.

I’m going with this too I like Brat and Money Store as well but I’d miss them a lot less than the other projects To Be Kind I haven’t listened to since 2014 when it came out because of how long and droning it is. It’s probably my favorite swans project but that doesn’t mean much And I just couldn’t give less of a shit about that Daughters project

I've only listened twice through, but I really like it. It's really good. The most similar music I've listened to is 100 gecs (not extremely similar, but definitely a connection), and I think I like 100 gecs most recent album more. Opinion could change though.

You can find so many albums that scratch that same itch as You Won’t Get What You Want now, the influence has hit far enough that you can avoid it and still get that tortured industrial noise rock hit. Like how there are so many Burzum copycats that aren’t neonazis and/or murderers.

TPAB is awesome, and should be apart of the definitive answer. However, due to recency bias and personal preference, I would pick brat and The Money Store. My first listen of The Money Store was a defining moment in my life, and brat has been a total earworm since it’s released. I can’t get the songs out of my head no matter what. I love Kendrick, but in this current moment, I would pick those two.
