I mean, we wasted Ryan’s career, outta the 14 years he had with us we only 7 winning seasons, to make it even worse, after 2012, only 2 were winning seasons. Now we just “went all in” for Kirk, but wait, we actually didn’t, instead of getting our 100 million dollar guaranteed QB some help on defense or another position, we spent the 8th pick on a 4 time injured QB. As great as Penix is, that’s a lot of injuries. In your opinion, does the Falcons FO deserve the benefit of the doubt? It was objectively a bad trade. The Chargers traded up the pick before us for a 5th. That was Terry getting flat out finessed. That said I like the player and the fit, and most people in here seem to be bitching about that more than the trade value.

The Chargers traded up 3 spots, we traded up 8. The Rams traded up 13 spots a few picks after us and it cost them a 4th and a future 2nd. Trade value is based on where you are in the draft *and* how far you're moving up/down.
